I've been to a couple of other locations. Good burgers, fries and more. Tried the corn that was pretty good. This place gets very busy and there is a lot of seating. Good option for a quick meal in the downtown. Staff are excellent and very helpful if there's an issue. You Gott to try them if you haven't already.

Gott's continues to be a spot my husband and I swing by when we're back in the Bay Area. The food is fresh, we tried their onion rings on this visit and were very happy. Definitely a staple. Service is always great and their open seating with windows open for a breeze is relaxing!

Strawberry lemonade and rosé

Casual Spot with a Great Indoor-Outdoor Vibe! We had a beautiful day out in Walnut Creek today and decided to stop by Gott's Roadside for a casual bite. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish! The Vibe & Atmosphere The space is incredibly bright, open, and airy. Even though you're sitting indoors, the massive open structure makes it feel like you're sitting outside. It instantly gave me the breezy, expansive vibes of an outdoor concert pavilion or open-air amphitheater. It's the perfect casual setup with comfortable bench seating and a gorgeous, light-filled aesthetic. The Food & Drinks We didn't snap a photo of the food because we dove right in, but everything hit the spot: The Western Bacon Burger: Perfectly made, featuring a really nice, thick, crispy onion ring inside that stole the show. Garlic Fries: Flavorful, hot, and the perfect side. The Strawberry Lemonade & Rosé (image_5.png): I am not usually a big soda or sweet drink person outside of the house, but this strawberry lemonade was so good I willingly paid $3.50+ for a second one! Pro-Tip on the Drinks: They serve the drinks heavy on the ice. For me, that's a perfect catch-22 because it keeps it cold and dials down the total sugar intake. But if you're someone who wants every ounce of drink and doesn't mind the sugar, definitely ask for your ice on the side! Sweet Treats Note: The milkshakes looked incredibly thick and delicious (the peanut butter one caught my eye!). However, we passed on the cookies displayed at the counter. Visually, they looked like flattened-out dinosaur eggs--a bit dry on the outside (though they might be moist inside!). We decided to skip them based on appearance alone. Service & Cleanliness The ordering system here is great-you order at one window, they give you an old-school buzzer, and you pick up your food on the other side. Customer service at the counter was quick and efficient. I was also incredibly impressed by how diligent the staff was; they were constantly coming by to pick up trays and ensure absolutely no trash was left floating around. Even the bathrooms were clean, bright, and airy.

Googled to find restaurants near me where my wife and I was in Walnut Creek yesterday and came across this spot. Just by walking up to it, you knew the food was going ti be good because there were many ppl sitting outside and the line was out the door. They automatically have menus waiting for you by the door and the special of the day posts both with words and pics. This spot has everything: burgers, salads, wraps, chicken sandwiches and etc. They serve beer, wine and hard alcohol. They even have a frose. However, just know the process area a bit steep and you do not get any sides with anything. Everything is sold separately. This spot is hugh btw. Plenty of seating My wife and I both ordered the California burger. I took off the balsamic onions and added lettuce and tomatoes. We shared regular fries. I also ordered a special of the day which was street corn. My wife ordered a cobb salad and froze. I had a water with lemons. They gave us a buzzer item to alert when our food came. We opted to sit outside in the sun. Once out food was ready... my wife went inside to pickup, my wife had to return the fries because they were cold. Everything wise came hot and so good. The burger was so big and juicy lol. Everything we had was fresh. My wife was surprised with her salad presentation, the size and the lemon vinegeratte that it is served with. She bust it down. We were both very happy with our food choice for lunch...as you can read..lol.

Still amazing. If you are looking for a great ambiance and an easy place to take the family, this is it. It is a bit pricey, but the food is well worth it!

I didn't know quite what to expect from Gott's Roadside, but I certainly did not expect them to be so allergen friendly. I was able to order my hot dog with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun, as well as veggies with hummus and remove the bell pepper. The fries were extremely tasty and about a step up in my opinion, from In and Out, and the smoothie was quite tasty. I also loved how well everything was packaged. Overall I'd say it's not the highest quality out there (I'd like to see them move to a better of a hot dog vendor), but I really liked the ability to accommodate and customize for allergies, so I'll absolutely be coming back.

The restaurant is huge! There are a few outdoor tables on the side of the restaurant and a massive space indoors. When it's crowded, it can get noisy. Service was good. No complaints - fast and efficient. The menu was okay. It was a challenge to find something for someone with dietary restrictions though.

Unfortunately, I have no photos to show for our meal. That's because I never got my salad and the waffle fries took 30 minutes and were not as described. The mangers were very nice and accommodating given the poor service. They normally have the best chicken kale Caesar salad. Today may have just been an off day. I will return- maybe not on a weekend until the season is over

I've been to a few of Gott's Roadside location. Sentimental fav is the original Taylor's Refresher in St Helena. My most visited is the Napa one. Tried Larkspur and this was my first visit to the Walnut Creek one. The food was delicious and ready in an appropriate time. The counter was friendly and helpful while the other staff members kept the tables and grounds clean. It ought it was a bit loud but maybe I'm just getting more ornery LOL! Good experience.

I did a pick up order for sweet potato fries and it was kind of a long wait just for fries. It was busy inside of Gott's Roadside. On the other side of the restaurant there's a place you can pick up your order near the condiments and bar area. I would eat their sweet potato fries again.

Crispy Teriyaki Chicken

Got takeout from Gott's on a Friday night and was really satisfied with it! The crispy chicken sandwich really hit the spot. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The quality of the ingredients really stands out you can taste the difference. Service was quick and friendly, even during a Friday rush, and the space was clean and comfortable with plenty of seating inside and out. Parking can get a bit tricky depending on the time of day, but it's worth it. Gott's continues to deliver that elevated roadside experience delicious food, thoughtful service, and a fun, California-casual vibe. Definitely a solid go-to in downtown Walnut Creek!

We chose this spot over others in the area for our 31st anniversary dinner because it had easy seating with no long wait -- and it turned out to be a great choice! I had the veggie burger while my husband and daughter enjoyed the chicken burger and fish tacos with garlic and cheese fries. Everything was fresh and flavorful, especially the garlic fries and margarita refresher. Service was friendly even during a busy dinner rush, and the cozy wooden tables with soft music made the ambiance feel warm and relaxing. Only downside was the cheese fries were a bit soggy. Loved that they also offer small ice cream scoops for dessert. Definitely coming back to try more vegetarian options!

Nick J.

Didn't eat the food there, but it was very busy. We decided to get dessert and a soft serve dip cone. It was really good. Service was fast and the cone was good.. can't comment on the food quality and how it taste, but the soft serve was good in my book.

Is it possible to make a reservation?

Are there any gluten free options?

I got a gluten free bun but I think the fries must have cross contamination because I had a pretty severe reaction after eating there and I rarely have problems eating out.

There is just something to fresh, juicy and tender, crunchy, flavorful about this wrap just makes me feel so good after eating it. So if there's one thing you must try at a sweetgreen, it's the Chicken Cesar Wrap. Trust. It's pretty filling and if you're the type to never really finish a full meal, you'll definitely be able to eat the other 1/2 of the wrap later in the day! There is a good portion of greens, chicken, sauce and croutons. Of course, you are able to change things up if needed or add more or less sauce. I highly suggest doing a medium amount and getting the extra sauce in the side. This location is right on a corner and is surrounding by many businesses but you cannot miss it. Street parking or there is a lot next to it but I'm not sure if you're allowed to park there? Anywho, find a spot and make your way over to sweetgreen. They have a designated spot for take out when placed online/ app. They have a good amount of indoor seating with nice natural light. The place is clean and spacious. During my visit, I think someone was being trained, but they both did an excellent job getting mine and my bestie's order ready in a timely matter. Anywhoooo, I'll for sure be back for more!

I know there known for their sandwiches, but I just wanted to sample their deli stuff. I opted for small containers of the penne pasta, Gigante beans, and their house made sliced meatballs. They had some pastries available for half the price, so I couldn't resist trying their pumpkin muffin. We also got an Arnold Palmer to try. My partner got their Popeye & Olive Oil sandwich. For 3PM, this place was popping. Most of the tables were taken, but thankfully people come and go pretty quickly. We found a table pretty quick, but I'm not sure how lunch peak hour would be. I honestly enjoyed everything we got as simple as they were. Flavor was great for all items. I like that for the deli stuff, even though the main ingredients were simple, they added a little bit of extra ingredients. Like the beans weren't just beans, but well flavored either by marinating or simmering in a light sauce. The meatballs as well. It tasted well seasoned and their marinara sauce was great! I also really enjoyed the pumpkin muffin. Plenty of spices mixed in, not too sweet, crunchy top (best part), and with sprinkles of pumpkin seeds! The Arnold Palmer was refreshing and I love that it's house made (at least I think it is) - not too sweet either! Grear place for a really affordable yet satisfying meal! Whether you're looking for something substantial or something lighter, Morucci's got it! As my partner has said "great sandos, great sides, excellent portions, and awesome price"!

My experience at Original Joe's Walnut Creek was overall pleasant…read more The service was decent. It took about 6 minutes for our server to greet us after being seated. Our cocktails arrived shortly after our entrees, which was a little unusual. However the food itself did arrive quite quickly. Also lacked table touches and water refills throughout the meal, however my friend and I do look quite young compared to the average clientele, so such is expected at most restaurants. The bread was good, especially with the butter topped with flaky salt. It was also great for dipping into our pasta sauces. For drinks, We had the watermelon Hugo spritz (8.7/10), which was refreshing, pretty, and had a great watermelon-forward flavor. The espresso martini (7.2/10) was solid, with a rich, creamy espresso taste. The handmade gnocchi (6.2/10), which was a little underwhelming. The texture was mushier than I expected, though I can see the appeal for someone with a different preference. The shredded braised beef was a nice addition. The sauce was also noticeably acidic, a little too much for my taste, which took away from the overall dish. The spicy vodka pasta (7.5/10), which I enjoyed more. The sauce was flavorful, with a subtle but noticeable kick, and the pasta was cooked nicely with a pleasant bite. Overall, the food and service were fine, but nothing to write home about. The ambiance was great, and the quiet environment made it a great place for conversation. Not somewhere I'd necessarily go out of my way to revisit, but definitely not a bad experience.
