What an amazing experience. I need to start out by giving a big shout out to the staff who were there on Friday October 11th. I was there with my teenage daughter for a concert but had time to eat before the show. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile by a very kind hostess & sat right away. The waiter was awesome & happily answered all the menu questions. We ended up getting the fried hot chicken sandwich & Hell's kitchen burger. I had a question about the hot sauce for the chicken & the waiter knew all about it. He suggested I have the hot sauce on the side & I am so glad I did. It's not your regular hot chicken sauce. It has a deeper flavor but also hotter than what I was expecting. But OMG that chicken was perfection! It was tender & juicy & flaky with golden crispy coating. Just perfect. Maybe a bit subjective, but after eating a 1/2 pound burger, the amount of fries you get in a side order is appropriate, I didn't even finish all of mine. I ordered the backyard burger and added bacon. The bun on the outside looked like it was going to be bready and crumbly, but surprisingly it was quite soft. The burger, which I ordered medium, was very juicy, had juices coming out of the burger as I was eating, which is what I would expect. It barely hit the edge of being messy, but overall it wasn't. Overall: having tried the other Ramsay Burger in Vegas this doesn't meet their standard for a variety of reasons. The overall burger franchise has gone down significantly since way before Covid as they got rid of a popular staple, poutine. However, this franchise fails to keep up to the industry standard of quality and pricing. Food: the first alarming flag is that the burger come a La carte without fries at a hefty price of $17. That is already pretty concerning add on that the fries were $6 for regular and $9 for truffle. So you're looking at more than $50 for 2 people already. Looking at the portion the burgers were pretty sizable somewhere in the 1/2 pound patty range. However the fries were not cooked fresh and not nearly enough for even one persons worth especially at that price. Lastly the flavor was very bizarre if nothing other than to say that we left hungrier than when we first arrived. Mostly due to the lack of basic flavors. It felt like I was eating air?? I ordered the burger that comes with egg and bacon and there was no semblance of bacon flavor in the burger. Even the blue cheese burger lacked the pungent smell and flavor. Ambience/Decor/Service: the service was pretty exceptional, food came out reasonably quick, and it was a fairly well constructed restaurant. My daughter and I we're so excited when we bumped into a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. I usually don't go out to restaurants and order hamburgers but today was an exception. I ordered a water and the waitress brought us a bottle of water and I didn't realize until I gotten home that the restaurant charged eight dollars for a bottle of water. WHERE IS THE LAMB SAUCE?!?! Just kidding, there is no lamb sauce needed at this place as it's specialized in burgers rather than other Gordon Ramsay fine dining restaurants. I went with a group of friends on a rainy October day to try the new Gordon Ramsay Burger that had just opened maybe a month before. There is also a very cool dining space on the roof but it was raining so we unfortunately we couldn't get the experience of sitting there. We arrived at around 1:30pm and the restaurant was not very busy probably due to the rain. However, I'm not complaining because this resulted in a much faster service and no delays in getting our food. I really really really enjoyed the food! I started with the Hellfire Chicken Wings; once you take a bite, it's hard to stop eating because the wings are just that good! It was sweet and tangy with a little spicy flavor so it won't overwhelm you if you don't normally eat spicy food. I also got their burger of the month (Truffle Burger) and it was gone seconds! Then I finished off with an Oreo Creme Brûlée Shake which was top tier. I guess my only complaint would be the value of my meal. If you want fries, you can get this for an additional $6 but their fries are decently sized and will feed up to 2-4 people. We tried a few different burgers here today including their Hells Kitchen Burger (their speciality burger with avocado, roasted tomato, mozzarella, and jalapeño), the Backyard Burger (simplest burger on the menu with standard tomato, onions, lettuce, and cheese), and their featured burger of the month, the Philly Burger (comes with thinly sliced sirloin, beef patty, cheez whiz, and caramelized onions). I was not a fan of the burgers as they were overall too soft for my personal liking, lacked texture, and the patties didn't really have a good "beefy" taste to them. This is my third experience with the Gordon Ramsay brand; and the best of the three. However, despite all the high notes, I can't say it was as mind-blowing as I'd expect from Mr. Ramsay. I had the opportunity to try: * Hell's Kitchen Burger * Just Fries * Smoke on the Water * Slow Byrne Hell's Kitchen Burger: As far as burgers go, this one was solid. The patty had very good 'meaty' flavor, and was cooked to a true medium as requested. It had enough moisture to not be dry, but not so much it quickly became burger soup on the plate. On the flip side, I found it light on the seasoning. A little extra S&P would have gone a long way. Not all is lost, however. The toppings helped bridge the gap. The fresh mozzarella, roasted jalapeño, and roast tomato had seasoning enough to get us most of the way there. Speaking of, while I generally like a crisp element to add contrasting texture, the combination here worked well. Finally, while I was grateful for the generous amount of avocado, it made the burger a slippery little bugger! Thus, while assembled with care, cooked appropriately, and with mostly tasty ingredients, there was nothing to elevate it from "really solid". Just Fries are, well, just fries. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. They were hot and fresh, and did not seem to have spent time under a lamp. The chives were a nice touch, though I am not sure they did much. The chipotle ketchup, though, I was definitely a fan of. Smoke on the Water was fantastic! Out of all the smoked old-fashioned (and others) I'd had, here the smoke definitely was not lost. Every sip had a little whiff of smokiness. Even outside of smoke and fire, this is one of the best old fashioneds I'd ever had. Despite being a spirit-forward cocktail, it went down silky smooth and was borderline refreshing! If you're not a whiskey drinker, do not be intimidated, this one is approachable and enjoyable for both whiskey drinkers and non-whiskey drinkers alike! Slow Byrne retained the best qualities of Smoke on the Water while being a wholly different cocktail. It was also smooth, and had a gentle, not overpower sweetness. It had a noticeable booziness, and a terrific level of tang. I was also very fond of the spice bequeathed by the Ancho Reyes! The service was excellent! It was just the right amount of attentive in making sure I was happy, and responding promptly to the subtle eye-contact-and-smile. Also, something I loved is they asked before clearing a plate of glass, even if it was empty. This was terrific, as sometimes, even though a plate/glass is empty, you don't quite want it taken away yet. The value was surprisingly good! A $17 burger and $15 cocktails are very reasonable considering the area and the name on the door. The $6 for a plate of fries I will let slide, just this once. The vibe inside is inviting, open, clean, and casual yet upscale. Not at all crowded either, which is always a plus in a city. Finally, just a quick note: only cold water in the washrooms? During a hot and humid 90° day this may be forgivable, but much less so when the harsh New England winter shows it's head. At the Gordon Ramsay level, some warm water would have been appreciated. Thus, a solid value for a solid burger. The experience is enhanced by stupendous cocktails and service. We came to Gordon Ramsay Burger on a Sunday evening and we were seated shortly after arriving. The service was thoroughly average, nothing spectacular but also nothing bad. We ordered the loaded potato chips, onion rings, truffle fries and sweet potato fries for the table. The onion rings were a highlight as they were perfectly fried and had a good ratio of breading. The sweet potato fries were absolutely delicious and I would 10/10 recommend getting them. I got the Farmhouse burger and really enjoyed it. FOOD/DRINKS: A I got the Farmhouse Burger $16 (sharp cheddar, bacon, friend egg), and my brother got the I opted to get BBQ sauce to drizzle on the burger and ordered the Sweet Potato Fries $7. Everything was delicious! Bun was crisp and soft, not soggy. Meat was seasoned perfectly and cooked delicious medium. I barely finished it as it was pretty sizeable. My dessert was a delicious Oreo Creme Brulee Shake $9 - 100% AMBIANCE/INTERIOR: A Sat at the bar, downstairs was modern with dim lighting. Upstairs was not open yet but we took a peek. It was gorgeous with the outdoor seating. I can definitely see it becoming a hit. PRICES: B We're in Boston-- food is 99.9% going to be expensive. Would it have been great if we could order combo meals? Yeah but that's not how they sell their foods here. This AIN'T McDonald's or Carl's Jr y'all. For being full and tastyness, I thought $21 for burgers and fries was pretty norm. OVERALL: A This GR Burger joint would make Gordon himself proud! I really had high hopes for this place given the owner. The service was good and their upstairs rooftop was nice to seat. the wings were alright, but I was not really sold on the burgers. I got the blue cheeseburger. It was not really clear what direction they were going with this. Just had a lot going on. The onion ring was just huge and not cooked well, so had to take it off. Overall was disappointed. Maybe getting the simple cheese burger is the way to go. read more

After coming from the Gordon Ramsay Burgers in Las Vegas I had high expectations, it was the best burger and fries I've ever had. And to say I was disappointed was an understatement, when we walked in we were expecting it to be packed, it was almost completely empty apart from a few tables. We sat down and went over the menu and while multiple staff went back and forth calling and texting on their phone for roughly 10 minutes before I had to raise my voice and ask to be served. After receiving our drinks our server forgot to give us straws. We overheard one of the workers complaining about cutting strawberries. The burger was alright, nowhere near as good as Las Vegas location, the ingredients are less fresh, the brioche bun was soggy and not toasted, the meat itself lacked seasoning. The truffle fries were almost as good as I remember but could've had been more crispy with more salt. If you are looking to experience a Gordon Ramsay restaurant I strongly suggest Las Vegas as their ingredients are more fresh, staff are very professional, restaurants are clean, and the food is 10x better for the same price. read more
