Came here during the blizzard to watch the Patriots in the AFC Championship and they deserve a ton of credit for even being open. We got there about 40 minutes before kickoff and had no problem getting a table, which was great! We really appreciated that the staff showed up in a blizzard so people could watch the game. AND they were in good spirits that hyped up the experience! That meant a lot and did not go unnoticed. Food wise, we started with the chips and dip which were so good. Ive also had their fried pickles in the past and those are really solid. For mains, my friend got the Korean BBQ wings and really enjoyed them. I ordered a burger but substituted the beef for chicken. It tasted good too. I got the sea salt fries as my side, but there was no salt on them at all haha, so they were basically just plain fries. The one flaw is I got honey mustard on the side and respectfully, it was the most foul honey mustard I have ever tasted. It tasted like yellow mustard mixed with apple cider vinegar. I'd steer clear! That said, the energy of the room completely made the experience. The staff and other guests were so friendly and really leaned into the moment. After the Patriots won, they played Sweet Caroline and Shipping Up to Boston. Everyone was dancing, singing and taking group photos, even with people we did not know, and there was such a strong sense of camaraderie. I'll def be back! Great location for us, as we were staying at a hotel around the corner and it's easy to access from North Station. The staff members were great. So nice and efficient and patient with my niece and nephew. They were very accommodating - proactively offering different seating options for the little one. It wasn't busy when we went, just after the lunch rush and before dinner. The place was very clean. We sat near the windows, which made for fun people watching. The food was tasty. Generous portions! This is a great sports bar very close to our station where the Celtics and Bruins play. My friends ordered various pizzas: buffalo chicken, pepperoni and cheese. They all seemed very happy. Terrible, terrible experience. We went here after a game at the Garden and got a one drink while waiting for an uber (pouring out). The GM targeted us and said if we were waiting for an uber then we have to leave, we said OK. Five minutes later, she came back AGAIN, and said if we don't leave then she's calling the cops. What kind of treatment is this? There is absolutely no room for this behavior, we frequent both this bar and the North End/surrounding community. To threaten a patron who has spent money at your establishment, because they finished their drink and are waiting inside for an uber is very unfair. I would think twice before coming here. It's a Sunday night. We have tickets for a show at City Winery. It's Mom & Dads night out! First stop: A&B Kitchen Bar. Why? Because it's close and had some good food option. A&B is connected to a hotel and is a stones throw away from TDGarden. The bartender was definitely pretentious but nice. He wanted to help guide me in my drink choice and he made me a pretty tasty ginger beer concoction. We opted to share the Brussel sprouts and buffalo wings. The buffalo wings, I wish they were slathered in the sauce a little more. They were litely coated, almost like a rub and the small amount of sauce was on the bottom of the little skilled its served in. The blue cheese was ok. The brussels were my win. We came here on National Cheeseburger Day and were pleasantly surprised! The deal came with a smaller cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato as well as a side of fries--all for $5. The burger itself was tender, and the fries complemented everything well. Considering it was only $5, I'd say it was a great meal that filled us up for lunch! Came in late on a Monday after a basketball game across the street. Was expecting some attitude since we were wearing the opposing teams stuff. The hostess was extremely nice. I went here for lunch today and it was very good. I got the Royale burger which was a smash burger. As I was eating my burger. My father opened a ketchup bottle and it literally exploded all over my dad's fit, my shirt and my new meta sunglasses (not even 24hrs old btw). Amanda was managing and hosting and was an absolute pleasure. She gave us an accurate wait time and did everything she could to help get us a table. I was visiting Boston for the first time and I was so excited to visit the historic north end for all their Itallian food. Unfortunately, the waits were way too long because of the celtics game. I happened to stumble across this place called A&B and I couldn't have come across a better place. Because of the game the place was packed but I was shocked that one of the managers jumped behind the bar. I didn't think any manger would have known how to pour/make a drink but the espresso martini because its below them but to my surprise it was one of the beat I've had. I also overheard a customer and he was not happy about something but apparently the manager was able to resolve the issue and the I have never seen a customer change directions so fast. Well - It was Valentines Day and we went into the city to go to the Tom Segura show across the street...This isn't about that, but our tickets got cancelled last minute and so we're already there and it was freeeezing. We weren't going to just turn around and go home, so we quickly looked around for somewhere to go. I had gone to A&B Kitchen + Bar awhile back and remembered that it was good and super close, so we decided to go there for a bite to eat instead. Our timing was impeccable because the show was still going on, so it was very quiet when we first got there. The vibe of the restaurant is great - its like a middle-ground, nice(r) American restaurant and bar. They have two sides if you will to the space, (not like a true separation or divide between the dining side and bar-dining side. They have tables and booths, including cute little "half" booths perfect for two people that beats a small little table. We had a very friendly waitress who was patient with us as we looked through the menu and made out selections. We both got Burgers and they were great! Food came out hot and quickly and everything was as expected and requested. The food here was downright terrible. This was our second attempt at getting take out, since the kitchen closes at 11pm but they have their account set up to still let you order - it just gets cancelled. Of the items we ordered the hot dog was the only item I felt safe to really finish but the bun was straight up junk - bread so old it crumbled. The taco salad was bad. Ground beef with no flavoring, shell so oily it wasn't pleasant to eat. But the rice and beans, what rice? It had a spoonful of rice with a massive amount of beans. The restaurant was clean and inviting with nice big windows and natural light. They also have a very nice outdoor seating area. They did accidentally bring me regular fries instead of sweet potato fries, but they quickly brought out some fresh sweet potato fries after I let them know. Host and staff were all kind and we got seated right away. We ordered 3 small plates: Korean Style Glazed 6 wings, Asian Lettuce Wraps (3), and calamari with banana peppers. The wings were good, well-seasoned, and a decent size. The Asian Lettuce Wraps came in 3 and was already placed on three lettuce wraps with chicken/sauce along with some veggies on top. And this past weekend, we got to check out what is soon to be one of our new locals, "A & B Kitchen"! Adorably named after their two sons, the owners of this establishment have created a unique environment for a TB Garden sports bar! Their mission to "redefine guests' expectations of a casual restaurant" is eminently successful! Let's being their novel approach with the fact they have a seasonal menu - something you wouldn't expect for a casual restaurant - and we loved it! Starting our meal with: A&B'S FAMOUS KOREAN BBQ WINGS! FRIED PICKLES! Delicious! Some of the best wings we've had in a long time, you have to try them! Just be prepared to be a little messy Since it was a Sunday evening, and we were hungry, we continued with some entrees: BURRATA CAPRESE SANDWICH with Basil, Burrata Cheese, Heirloom Tomato, & Balsamic Glaze on Rosemary Focaccia! BOURBON MARINATED STEAK TIPS with Robuchon Potatoes, Green beans, & House Made Biscuit! Again, another round of successes! Especially the 'Burrata Caprese', however, it did get us very excited to try their 'Sweet & Salty Burger!' Next time!!! THE GHOST Spicy Ghost Tequila, Orange Liqueur, A&B Sour, & Pomegranate! As expected, if beer isn't your game day drink-of-choice, you have many other amazing options! Since we believe the cocktails on this menu are seasonal like their food, we have to say that you have to get down here this summer to make sure to try 'The Ghost' - if you like some spice with your liquor, it's perfect for you!
