I've been to Bleacher Bar a few times, but sadly this visit was a disappointing experience. The restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived, yet we waited several minutes just to be seated. After that, it took about 40 minutes before our server came over to greet us, bring menus, or even ask if we wanted drinks. Waiting that long just to place an order was frustrating, especially considering how empty the restaurant was, there wasn't a game going on so I didn't really understand why it took them that long to send someone ever. Preface we went around 6pm! Once we were finally able to order, it took another 30-40 minutes for our drinks and food to arrive. I've had better experiences here in the past, which is why this visit was so surprising. I understand that off days happen, but the service was unusually slow from start to finish. Tidbit! Gentlemen, the urinals have a window out to the field, so you won't miss the game! Just remember: if you can see the bar, the bar can see you. We shared whatever wasn't tapped out, which tells you everything about the chaos and nothing bad about the place. Bleacher Bar lives inside center field at Fenway, so you can catch a view of the field. Thank you to all the strangers who kindly stepped aside and took photos of us (or me, since it was my first time). By the way, two hours before first pitch on a weekday afternoon, we were excited to see that the bar had opened early at 11 not 11:30. The energy was electric and exhausting though; the bartenders hustled through a half-depleted tap list while the crowd of tourists and diehards made the most of it. When we left with 90 minutes to spare, the line stretched down the street with a bouncer holding it together. Smart money was on bloody marys and cocktails; the taps were not having a good day. CAN NOT BEAT THAT VIEW! Wonderful time. people do crowd the better space by the window, and even on a hot summer evening game they didnt have the door open. Not sure why. Also very loud. They have the game on a few TVs, but play pop music quite loud. Nothing to dampen the sound. We stopped in to the Bleacher Bar after walking around the perimeter of Fenway Park to grab a drink. The inside was timey and nostalgic...you could just feel so many memories of fans here! I loved being able to view the outfield from the gated window and I also loved checking out all of the wall murals and arts. So much history at Fenway Park - it was truly beautiful to check out! We ordered a couple of beers and a Margarita and just soaked in all of the vibes. The thing that really made me laugh was the window that the Men's bathroom has where you could look out across the bar either from the urinals or the sink and still see the game going on! I did not go into Men's bathroom - you could see them looking out the window from the bar area which I found funny. Service was friendly and fast! Such a nostalgic bar! Was in my hometown of Boston for one night, and although the Sox were out of town, still wanted to head to Fenway. This area has exploded since I lived here! The Bleacher Bar is exactly as it sounds- it's a bar carved out from underneath the Fenway Stadium bleachers with a view of the field. Vibe was an all ages crowd with locals and tourists. Great place to stop in after my spartan race but would be even better during or after a Sox game or concert. The place was small and dark full of memorabilia which I am sure any baseball fan would appreciate. The service was quick for both drinks from the bar as well as our food. Hot dog was good, bun could have been better, the bottom split for me and my sisters as soon as we picked it up but still manageable to eat. The fries were GREAT they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We were visiting Fenway park during off season and we stopped by the bleacher bar because it's a great way to see the inside of the park without booking a tour. I ordered the Chicken Bites and I enjoyed it so much I had to write a review! So this is such a cool, unique place. There are 3 four tops that sit directly in front of the grate. You want these tables. If you don't get those, you want the bar style seats (maybe 8 of them?) directly viewing the field. We came on a non game day, and it was still a great experience. We arrived a little before noon, which was apparently a good choice, because after we arrived the place filled up and we got the last of the good seats. The Biz was a great sandwich. The clam chowder was a little runny, but our expectations weren't high. The kids burgers were super good, exceeded kids menu expectations. Overall, we did it for the experience of eating literally inside of the green monster. Was the food mind blowing? No, but stadium food never is. It's our first time in Boston, of course off-season, we came to see Boston and go to Salem for Halloween. We want to see Fenway Park without having to go on a tour. The bleacher bar is a fantastic bar. Great idea. You can see the whole outfield from inside the bar, which was perfect for us. The drinks were good, we didn't try the food, they were filming something inside the bar ,I don't know for something? So there was a sign saying the bar was closed at the moment at the main entrance, but we're able to go to the other entrance with everybody else entering. There's a jukebox. And I'm guessing you have to make reservations to sit at the tables right by the outfield, but luckily we were able to go and just walk up and look at the outfield and nobody being at the tables at the moment because of filming. Inside of the bar, the decor is pretty cool and all those Red Sox memorabilia. The bartender was pretty chill. read more

A couple years ago I went here with some coworkers and being a vegetarian. I'm always challenged with finding things to eat, and I had a great Reggie burger here and a great experience. I went back two years later today, no veggie burger I think if you're a burger place in Boston in 2026 a veggie burger is not a big ass and really makes life easier when five people are trying to find a place to eat and one doesn't eat meat. Me and my grandparents came in a few days ago and we had an amazing time. We were treated so kindly by our server and bartender. We got the sliders and they were terrific, we especially loved the selections of fries they had to offer. On our trip to Boston, we walked around Fenway (we missed the team being in town by 1 day :( ). As we walked past this place, which is open even when there are no games, the smell of charbroiled burgers pulled us in. The coolest part of this place is that there is a fenced area open to the bar with a full view of the field!! We sat at ledge with stools that looked out onto the field. It was so cool. Apparently, you can sit there during a game. I asked, they say there is a 1 hour limit as long as you order food or drink during the game. They also said that during the game it isn't as busy as you would think. Before the game it will be slammed, but during the game, not so much. Anyway, the taste of the burger matched the scent from outside. It was really good and cooked perfectly. So juicy! We ordered a Bleacher burger which came with fries for $18. Loved the place, the food was great, our server was forgetful and not attentive. My friends and I were visiting Boston and wanted to see Fenway Park. It wasn't a game day, so we stopped into this famous bar tucked under the outfield bleachers with views into the famous stadium. The bar was filled with Boston baseball memorabilia and had that been-there-for-decades nostalgic feel. There was a Fiddlehead beer promotion event going on at the time. So, we tried the local beer and got some nice Fiddlehead swag as Boston souvenirs. The bar hostess was friendly and have us a few recommendations of other places in the area we might enjoy later that evening. It was a very hot and humid, late summer afternoon. With the bar having a large open viewing of the open air Fenway Park outfield made it a bit muggy inside the busy bar. We left and walked around the ballpark exterior. You can tell the ballpark area is in transition with the bar lined street updated and the opposite street a bit run down. We came back to our rental car to find a $60 parking ticket on the car as well as every other car parked on that street. Just a heads up, the meters stop at 6pm, but that's when the neighborhood parking permit required parking begins. The meters don't mention this nor is there signage on the wall near the meters. This information is posted about 10 feet up on a light post facing the street. read more

Once if the coolest bars in Fenway cause you can actually see the field from inside the bar. Before the game they keep the garage door open and it's just a fence in between you and center field. During the game they put down the garage door but you can still see through it. First come first serve on bar stools and the tables in front of the garage. Outdoor and seating available. A very unique bar. I've never seen a bar with a field level view of center field. It's a super cool concept. I visited in the off-season, so I can imagine how crazy it can be on game day. Come early I guess? They have a decent selection of local beers and the cocktail I tried was pretty decent. Service was friendly and attentive during a slow and depressing Patriots stinker. I appreciated the windows in the men's bathroom that allow you to watch the screens while using the urinals. Somewhat awkward, but fun and innovative. Worth visiting for the novelty factor alone.
