It's like someone mashed together an amusement park, a zoo, and a full-blown circus, then replaced the cotton candy with alcohol and the safety rails with chaos. Every floor felt like a different dimension--one minute you're vibing, the next you're dodging a human traffic jam like it's bumper cars. But the real main event? Colleen. First floor. Absolute legend. Watching her work was like witnessing a headliner performance before the headliner. She wasn't bartending--she was conducting a symphony of pure mayhem. This bar happened to be convenient so we decided to keep going here. First of all, though, that name: They do qualify it with an "in Boston", but there are still a lot of effing bars in Boston. You can say you're great, whatever, but the greatEST? They're already operating from a deficit, imo. But whatevs, we just wanted more drinks. Things were certainly already lively when we joined the mostly business convention-y crowd (judging from all the business casual attire and the lanyards). The place felt kind of cavernous, with two stories. Lots of sports-oriented swag on the walls, and a country-heavy song list, which wasn't really our vibe, but we didn't hate it. I came here for their Halloween party and was super happy with my night! As opposed to doing a bar crawl across Fenway, going between the 4 floors of The Greatest was certainly the move. As a huge Survivor fan, I had been meaning to visit the Survivor Cafe and had no idea it was here! Truly killed two birds with one stone. The music was great, the decor was adorable, the bathrooms were clean, and the staff was helpful during our check-in. The bartenders were super attentive, even in the Halloween craziness, and drinks were reasonably priced. Most of my friends paid between $10-$12 for their drinks, steal! We came here as a group of 4 for the Survivor-themed experience that they are hosting during season 49 and it was great! There was cute theming throughout the two floors reserved for this experience, 3 different challenges you could try, and several photo ops (think: cutouts of Jeff, tribal council chairs, and a voting booth where you get to cast a vote yourself). The ticket was pricey for the slot we selected ($155 for 4 people on a non-episode evening), and the $10 food vouchers per person could not be combined, so we did not end up using them all. It was nice that they controlled the number of tickets sold per timeslot though, so the photo ops and challenges didn't get too crowded. Overall, it was a great experience. Shoutout to the staff members running the challenges who channeled Jeff Probst energy into explaining the challenges, narrating as we competed, and filming for us (especially the guy hosting the bow-shaped balance on Friday night!). We were thrilled to be the invited guests at the greatest bar for the Super Bowl party. We had a dedicated area on the third floor, with a waitress available to take three orders. She made sure we always had pictures of water and amazing, amazing food. The bathrooms were clean, easy to find, and the bar overall was clean, and smelled good. The seating in the area that we were in was very comfortable. And the staff that we interacted with was just so amazing and friendly. What a fantastic place to watch sports! read more

Thought we were going to the Survivor bar, and we paid $10 each at the door to enter. When we asked to get to the "survivor bar", we were told to scan a separate barcode to purchase tickets, but they were sold out and we were not refunded. Towards the end my friend was cold- Austin took his jacket off and handed it to my friend to keep her warm. We have never had such sweet service. Seriously, incredible. This bar is in a great location, it's by everything and accessible to transit and tons of things to do in the area. My friends and I stopped in to grab some drinks and apps before the usher concert. We forgot to make reservations at one of our favorite restaurants so decided to stop in here as the music called us in and we used to have a blast years ago. Upon arriving the crowd and usher music blasting were creating a great vibe. We sat down at a table near the bar as the bar was already getting full. We reviewed the menus already on the table and knew instantly we wanted the sliders, mine with sweet potato fries and a few different drinks. We placed our orders and waited. Around 20+ minutes later, our food arrived, all wrong and missing multiple items. The server didn't know much so we waited for our waitress. When she finally came to check on us and we filled her in she went back to the kitchen and apologized that they told her they were out of 3 ingredients we were missing on our burgers and couldn't make new ones because they were out. They were dry, overdone (we asked for medium) and missed all the toppings. We weren't comped anything and not much was done to try and fix the issues. My sister and friends wanted to find a place to stop by for a drink on a Saturday night. We ran into some other people who suggested to go to this bar as it was close by their hotel and it also happened to be by where we were staying. There were four levels to this establishment. First floor and second floor were connected by an open floor plan. the third floor was mostly a bar with a basketball arcade game. The fourth floor was also a bar with better music in my opinion. Drinks were cheap but also tasted it. The hangover the next day was rough so fair warning to others! Overall, we ended up having a fun time. The DJ on the 4th floor was playing thee wackest, most outdated songs ever. He left you with no momentum. He played Nelly 'E I E I Ugh Oh" I suggested he play a song and he declined. I saw a few ppl make song requests but he was doing his thing. Also, the temp in those rooms need to be controlled a lil more. If I could give this place a 0 I would. Bouncers are out of control and tried to throw my handicapped friend down the stairs after he wanted to use the bathroom. The lady manager tried to say that he punched the bouncer, and when asked for the security footage she would not provide. Nor would provide it to the police.
