Food and service from training staff were good, and when our bill came we paid cash. The more seasoned server (not the staff in training) brought us back our change, minus 10 dollars. Probably a mistake, I figured. Bar was busy but not insane. When I asked about it, I expected her to say something along the lines of "I must have made a mistake, I'm sorry." Instead, she said something like "Oh yeah, one of the guys had to run next door because we don't have any more ten dollar bills." Shady. Then she offered to bring us ten singles instead, which she did. But she hadn't said anything about missing ten dollars when she brought us our change, and I don't see why she couldn't just have brought us ten singles to begin with. And I know it's only ten dollars but it felt wrong. It felt like she didn't expect us to count the change, that we would just tip and go. We did, although the tip was not what it would have been otherwise. We won't be going back. If you do go, count your change if you pay cash! read more

I thought Scores was pretty good for what it is - a sports pub near the garden. The seating was a bit on top of each other which I don't prefer, but bar seats seemed solid. We got there for 5:30 before a bruins game - an OK amount of seats. Our server was super kind, we started with fried pickles which were fab. My only call out is that they were a bit over salty for my liking, however nothing a little ranch can't handle. For mains I got the Caesar salad (decent for a pub salad) with buff chick which was HOT, HOT, HOT. My dad enjoyed his burger - which was a ton of toppings - peppers, avocado, bacon, a few patties for his Bergeron burger. He was full the entire game lol. Server took a while to flag down when we were trying to get out of the there, but overall it was pretty good and I think it's very much so similar to a lot of the other pubs in the area. read more

We had a very disappointing experience at Scores and won't be returning. We arrived around 4:30 p.m. when the restaurant was nearly empty, with only three other guests. After being seated, we waited about 10 minutes before anyone came to our table. Our waitress only came over after I asked the hostess if someone could help us. Even then, there was no acknowledgment or apology for the wait. Shortly after ordering, my 5-year-old daughter needed to use the restroom. Unfortunately, there was no toilet paper. I tracked down our waitress and asked if she could replace it. She eventually brought a roll into the restroom, but simply placed it on top of the dispenser and walked out without saying anything. There was no indication whether it was ready to use or if she was coming back with a key to install it properly. Since my daughter couldn't wait any longer, we had to use it as it was. Our food was delivered by the kitchen staff rather than our waitress. Since we hadn't seen her since placing our order, we asked the food runner for more water and ketchup. The burgers were okay, but the onion rings on them were cold and tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. The "bottomless fries" were another disappointment. The initial serving was only a small handful and was gone within minutes. We couldn't find our waitress to request more and finally had to flag her down. The refill didn't arrive until about 20 minutes later. By then, the restaurant had become much busier and she appeared to be covering around 10 tables. That seemed more like a staffing issue than an individual employee issue, but it still resulted in poor service. After receiving the fries, we asked for the check. After waiting another 10 minutes, we finally went to the front to pay. The manager approached us and asked how everything was. We started explaining our experience, but at that point, with two young children, we simply wanted to pay and leave. One additional thing to be aware of: a 20% gratuity was automatically added for our party of four, which was surprising. Overall, the lack of attentiveness, poor communication, long waits, and disappointing food made for a very frustrating dining experience. Came here for a BC football watch party and it was a vibe! There's a good amount of large TV's but I liked how it wasn't crazy rowdy or anything when we went. I also ordered a burger and my friend got the Mac and cheese. The burger was delicious. Would order again. The Mac and cheese looked good too and my friend seemed to have enjoyed it. All in all, Scores is a great sports bar that's a mix between being nicer than a dive bar, but not as "boujee" as something like Banners by the garden. Yesterday, we attended the Celtics game and sought a spot for a couple of beers and an appetizer. We discovered a place called Scores. We ordered the nachos, which were tremendous, featuring pork belly, cheese, and all the fixings. The food that came from other tables looked amazing, so we will definitely return. We also spoke with the manager, a very friendly guy, and found it to be a nice place. read more

The bars hours are updated on the site . The bar is super clean including the bathrooms . The vibe is a whole experience you can only obtain in Boston . The appetizers were good , and portion size is good for the price. . This includes for dinks in Boston . The parking is difficult but they do have a garage near by of paid parking . read more

I have been to a lot of bars and restaurants. Scores may have had the worst service I have ever experienced. A Saturday night before a bruins game and the waitstaff and bartenders were unprepared. We planned on having drinks and food but the service for drinks was so terrible we left and didn't eat. Go elsewhere read more

My friends and I got tickets to game 4 to scores. Not only was scores at capacity by the time the event started (7 pm) there was a line down the block, all of which who were also ticket holders. We were then berated by the manager, who screamed profanities at the crowd and only allowed "reservations" to come inside. Their poor planning and lack of management really put a bad taste in everyone's mouths and I'm sure the 100s of people in line would feel the same. We had to cancel our watch party for the Super Bowl so I went into the city and watched the game at Scores. When I say they know how to party, THEY KNOW HOW TO PARTY! Bergeron burger...Awesome Service...awesome...so nice on a busy concert night at the garden and not enough servers Bartender...This is where they lost me. I was asked for my order and told him a glass of wine and a bourbon. He looked at me strange and said what, so I repeated my self and he seemed to take offence based on his response. Maybe he didn't but it felt that way. He poured a nice big glass of wine and he measured the bourbon. All other drinks that I watched were healthy free pours and it a inexpensive bourbon. I still tipped him but boy did that piss me off! I guess I'll stick to soda water and lime next time. read more

We are at Scores right now. There was a mistake where the wrong wings were delivered to us. We decided not to complain, it's busy they probably didn't hear that we asked for a different flavor. Waitress came over 15 mins later and told us the wrong wings were deliver. I said yes but don't worry. Come to find out the wings were for the people next to us. They deliver our food with the right wings. The waitress told us that we would have to pay for both wings if we wanted to have both. We were upset because we were trying to be nice by accepting getting the wrong wings but not saying anything. Didn't realize they would bring over the correct ones. We found the manager. Madison ;the manager) came over and asked how she can make this right. We really didn't want anything we just wanted to let them know that we were trying to be nice and we didn't appreciate feeling like we had to pay for someone's mistake. She made things right by treating us very nice. She understood our complaint and she took both wings off our our tab and gave us a drink. She also offered people next to us a drink because it was their wings. THANK YOU MADISON for listening to us and for giving us a reason to still love this place.
