My husband and I had no idea how much damage water could actually cause. We spent all of Sunday using every towel and blanket we owned and repeatedly emptying our carpet cleaner because we thought we had gotten the house back into decent shape. We were completely wrong. Luckily, we picked Dansel from reviews and they are a AAA authorized vendor. Dansel arrived and quickly cleaned up and tore out all the wet stuff and installed drying devices. They put plastic down and sealed the bathroom door with plastic and a zipper because of fears of mold. Once everything was dry, we decided to just gut the room and start fresh. Daniel helped us through it all and also helped us deal with AAA who was pretty incompetent. To help save money, Daniel recommended we pick out and pick up all the items going back in the bathroom, easy enough and that lets us hand pick exactly what we wanted. Once we had everything, the work was quickly completed. The workers were very friendly and respectful. We are very happy with the results and the price point. We will most definitely use Dansel again. We like to support small, family run businesses!!

More concerning, I specifically asked the crew to wait before opening my gate because I have a pet on the property, but they opened it anyway, which was a serious safety concern for me. The craftsmanship itself was okay, but the inconsistent communication and response times made the entire process unnecessarily stressful. My biggest issue, however, was the financing. Their payment communication prominently advertised "0% APR," which led me to believe I was signing up for interest-free financing, but I later discovered that the loan I received carried a significant interest rate. I personally found the way this was presented extremely misleading and predatory, especially since the higher interest rate was not clear to me from their emails or payment request. Between the scheduling issues, lack of communication, disregard for my instructions regarding my pet, and the misleading financing experience, I would not use Dansel Restoration again.

Unfortunately, even after that work was completed, we still experienced insulation problems and had to contact them again. It felt like every visit resulted in new charges without real solutions. The most concerning part came after their final visit was that our heater suddenly stopped working. We brought in another vendor to assess the situation, and they identified damages to the heater, including a clogged component and poorly performed replacement work that appeared to be related to the previous service. Overall, this experience was extremely frustrating. Multiple callbacks, escalating costs, and ultimately more damage to our system are unacceptable.
