But, I don't blame…read morethem - the assessor I had (Tom) was professional and knowledgeable and spent many hours putting together a work plan and estimate. I didn't mind paying. I ended up going with it, so the fee was waived. I had a complex drainage problem that was affecting my foundation, and I live on a very steep hill in Emerald Hills / Redwood City. I'd had probably 10 different contractors out to look at it, and each one told me something different. Drainage Pros was the first company where I felt confident that they knew what they were doing. The price wasn't bad, either - it was about 30% cheaper than a similar quote for the same work scope. The crew, led by Javier, was incredibly professional. They had great judgement and basically never needed my input on anything. They dug a 12-foot trench, *by hand*, four stories up on the ridiculous cliff I live on. I couldn't believe it. At each stage, they went beyond what I expected. I feel like our house can handle basically any amount of rain without an issue.
