They really went above and beyond to help educate us about the process of installing a moisture barrier and all the factors that go into successful rodent abatement. The communication was excellent, even on a holiday weekend I got called back within an hour of reaching out with questions, which I certainly did not expect! They arrived promptly for appointments and were thoughtful about avoiding tracking dirt into our home. They worked with us to customize their work to our coastal climate and were very transparent about exactly what materials they would be using (all top of the line, industral-grade!). I have pets and toddlers and they took my concerns about chemical disinfects seriously and offered several options to make sure I was comfortable with what was used in our home. They regularly check in with us via a phone call to see if we need a crew member to come to the house to check our garage, attic and crawlspace for any rodent activity and replace traps as needed. They do a thorough job of checking around the house, too, and securing mesh wire on any gaps that may allow rodents to get into those areas. The team was easy to communicate with and I really appreciated all the confirmations and follow-ups with arrival time frames, etc. They did a fantastic job cleaning up the attic and getting rid of the blown in insulation to replace with the newer insulation- everything from the setup, work and clean up process was well done and easy. Mixed experience with Attic crew. I worked with David's team on Apr. The home was vacant. On one side, they did decent job on cleaning up the drops on attic and crawl space. They also sealed and was able to find many missing entry points with the previous company. On the other side, the job was not fully completed with high quality - there were still missing entry points, and one place the nail was loosen in couple days hence the rodent entered again. They chewed the cabinet and filters since no food left. I asked the team to leave enough traps in the house but they didn't. The follow up service was not great - they arranged one technician to arrive after 3 days, but that person only did inspection and pointed to another person from the original team. The other staff then come 3 days later and sealed the hole, however the quality was subpar. The next visit I can book is 3 weeks away. read more

Update: After posting this review, I got a call from the owner the same morning, followed quickly by the general manager. They took my concerns seriously, thanked me for the feedback, and sent someone out that day to seal the last holes and arrange for a handyman to fix the staples in the wall. Both issues were resolved right away. Now the wall looks repaired and, best of all, no more rat noises in the attic. He was very clear and honest about what was required and what would be supplementary to completely proof home. We were having issues with mice and I called Attic Crew to provide us with a quote. I approached 2 other pest control companies as well, and in the end I selected Attic Crew because they provided the most comprehensive estimate and I really liked Caleb's (the estimator) approach. Their pricing was in the middle between the 3, but the services they offered included more such as a longer warranty, and automatic post-service check-ups. In addition to setting traps, cleaning, etc. I asked them to replace our attic insulation. Caleb was the only contractor who recommended this, and I'm glad he did. In addition to the mice, our house has always been cold. He described how the older "blow-in" insulation is not as thick and that there are better materials that can keep our house warmer. During the installation, they sealed the rest of the house to prevent any of the old insulation from getting in the house. We used Attic Crew after getting quotes from a few providers, to install insulation in our attic. The estimator was great and talked me through the different options and pros/cons, such as batts vs spray-in. We decided on batts, and the team was able to get us on their schedule quickly. The day-of team went above and beyond, adding insulation in other areas where it was needed, and even replacing some of our old attic air vent screens. We had two small issues after install, one related to two can lights no longer working (wiring got knocked during insulation installation) and the new air vent screens being too wide to prevent mud daubers from getting into our attic. The team was quick to respond and send a handyman out, who promptly resolved both of these issues. It's been awhile and to be honest, I completely forgot to finish up this review which started a few years ago (pre-during covid) . But, basically with the 3 projects overall I've asked them to do and not including the minor touch up and reconnecting this last part of the year(2024). I've been overall impressed with their attempts to make us the costumer feel satisfied with their effort and quality of work. The first project was a few years ago and it was for the radiant barrier for the attic, namely due to me working overnights and trying to find a way to keep the house cooler and hopefully have lower electricity bills too. I was overall very happy with this job in the beginning, the second job which was new duct work, making a new duct into the house, and removing the old blown in insulation with brand new batt insulation, went overall pretty well but to be honest when this project happened, I sort of wish the first guy who did the estimate for the radiant barrier was a better communicator or maybe more informative of what should have been done first and second because upon the second estimate, this technician noted the blown in insulation was alittle low in areas and the ductwork had asbestos in the ducts..knowing this I would have opted for the duct work and removal and batt insulation first versus the radiant barrier and another time or later date. But, with the first job done and paid for, the second estimate and at this time(they admitted to miscalculating the square footage in the attic but ate the cost) was very good..I mean the estimate couldn't have been price matched by another company. Anyways, I overall very happy how the 2nd job turned out on the end and how it held up after a few years. Anyways onto this years issue, admittedly a few set backs and a decent amount of miscommunication between all of us, and if they understood what I wanted in totality this might have resulted in a few less visits of them coming here and me waiting around for them to show up. But, in addition to their attic work, I also had a whole house fan installed after their job and this current year, but I'm guessing the installer for the house fan took off or ropes some of the radiant barrier resulting in the barrier it's from getting some of it torn and destroyed by the fan so I had hanging barrier in the attic and the bigger issue was me discovering some mouse dropping in this area..so I didn't want to have an infestation, so I called them to check out the house and attic. The first guy noted a few things I should have addressed namely the garage door and the gap between one side of the door. And he also left some traps in the attic. He said to talk to the company again to schedule another visit in a few weeks. Next visit comes by, this technician does another inspection of the house, he sprays foam outside and uses some chicken wire on the ducts on the roof to stop any access points, but the office didn't not tell him about the radiant barrier and because of this he didn't have the proper tools to fix it. With this mostly addressed, the 3rd visit was late in the afternoon and past my bedtime, but I thought he knew from the company that I wanted to have the radiant barrier re-stapled at a bare minimum or maybe sole of the barrier completely torn down and redone and I would have paid for the labor and materials, I actually heard him go in the attic area moving around and I thought he addressed it but the next day I went up to find out no. The 4th visit the guys were all nice and it took them a few times to make them understand what I wanted them to do and fix the barrier..they finally re-stapled it and left another rat trap in my attic..mind you I've told them that I don't think I need the traps anymore but they left them up there. Because of all their hard work I'm think I've found my forever attic company and will or might have them do another job namely clean and insulate my garage one day..but can't recommend them enough!! read more

The Attic Crew is clean and helpful. They covered furniture, floor, blocked off their work area, and vaccumed all surfaces. They also check for rodents, check for and recommend areas that might allow rodents in. Field mice are a particular problem in the Sunset/Ingleside.
