Can you really trust all of these 5 star reviews? Yes. You can. I had Fuse install an electrical car charger. They were very competitive on cost and quick to schedule and complete the job. Unfortunately, there was a communication mix up and some additional work was needed. With every other contractor I've worked with, this is where things get painful. You can't reach them. They push back. They argue. Not so with Fuse. First off, they have a call center so you can always reach someone, and that person is always helpful. Then, they really do work to make things right. We had an other technician out within a few days to make the small fix. Work was fast, and they showed up exactly when they said they would. They were also 100% unwilling to compromise on safety - and they were very clear on this. I want this in an electrical contractor. Anyway, I absolutely recommend Fuse and I'd have zero hesitation using any of their services again. read more

I shopped around to get my gas water heater replaced with an electric hybrid heat pump water heater and decided to go with Fuse Service. They were priced very competitively and the offered the specific water heater I wanted which was the Navien hybrid heat pump. I'm so glad I chose Fuse. From the day that Tim the estimator came out to give me the estimate all the way to when the technicians came out to do the installation, it was a simple and easy transaction. They're all very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. Fuse also offers one of the better warranties compared to their competitors. Communication throughout the process was great and scheduling was easy. I'm thrilled with the new heat pump water heater. After a few days of using it, you can't tell the difference from the gas heater. It heats water relatively quickly. The heat pump is also super energy efficient which will save me a lot of money in the long run. Overall, Fuse did an amazing job. Update: In what I am pretty convinced was a total coincidence, shortly after the heat pump was installed our gas hot water heater stopped working. I couldn't find anything that the installer would have done to cause it since the symptom was that the gas flame would not stay on. I called Fuse to see what they had to say and within a hour two technicians came out to take a look. After a couple hours of troubleshooting they thought it might be the control board. Of note they didn't charge us for their time. The gas HWH was to be replaced by Fuse with a heat pump based HWH so it seemed silly to invest much effort. Unfortunately there wasn't one of their electricians available for a couple of weeks to install the needed sub-panel. On a follow up call to Fuse, I reminded them that we also have an EV charger in the garage that they might be able to temporarily "borrow" the circuit. The next day the team of Ronnie and Alex came out and installed the new HWH using the EV charger's circuit (having to use a public charger was a small price to pay to having hot water). Once again, a professional job with great attention to detail. Last week Zorik the electrician arrived as scheduled to complete the installation. He worked with me on where I would prefer the sub-panel be installed. Within a few hours, our EV charger was back in business. I appreciated that Zorik took the time to review what breakers were moved so that I could update my records. I was confident that the job (and the others) were all were properly compliant with the building codes. Worth noting, the technician from an independent company came out to do the duct work testing (which passed). As he was leaving the subject of Fuse came up. We needed to replace our 35 year old AC unit that was on its last leg. We went through quite a few different estimates to migrate to a heat pump. Fuse came in significantly lower priced than everyone for a superior system. We wanted to add an additional vent on the main floor, and some dampers for a few of the vents and everything went like butter. Lex and Maxat were the nicest people, arrived on time, left at 6pm each day leaving the house clean. It was a 3 day install and they finished on the third day. Beyond what they needed to do, Lex walked through things that would be checked by the inspectors even on work they didn't do (GFCI plugs close to where the old unit was), and walked me through why they did some of the things they did because I was curious. We're 3 days in so far, but the installation experience was great, and the daikin system is cooling the house great (and I can already see from the energy monitoring systems we have, it's so much more efficient!). read more

This included removal of the old units and ductwork, new ducting throughout, a two-zone ducted heat pump system with two new air handlers, an outdoor heat pump, and a ceiling-mounted cassette unit for our primary suite (a room that gets a lot of direct sun and had always been tough to keep cool with the old system). The installation crew, Azamat and Val, did excellent, careful work removing the old system, running new ductwork, and installing all the new equipment. The install took about 7 days. Be careful with this company. They don't provide clear pricing upfront and only tell you the cost after the work is done. During a simple AC check-up, the technician added freon without clearly explaining whether it was necessary. I live in a new house and had no issues with my system. But he said I was low, might be a leak. I didn't go with looking for leak (as he suggested) as it felt silly, as my house is only couple of years old. And none of the neighbors had a problem with freon leak. I ended up paying around $500 for something I'm not sure I even needed. Overall, the experience felt pushy and not transparent. First, I want to give special recognition to the installation crew, especially Dem and Elmar. They were exceptional throughout the project. They treated our home with respect, made every effort to keep the work area clean, minimized dust, mess, noise, and disruption whenever possible, and genuinely cared about getting everything working properly. Their professionalism and workmanship were the highlight of our experience, and they deserve recognition for their hard work. I also want to acknowledge our estimator and project manager. They were polite, professional, easy to communicate with, and handled their responsibilities well during the planning and coordination stages. Unfortunately, customer service remained the weakest part of our experience. Fuse advertises 24/7 customer service, but that was not what we experienced. When we encountered urgent issues during the installation, our calls, voicemails, and emails went unanswered for an extended period. Ironically, the only time our concerns received prompt attention was after I posted my reviews on Google and Yelp. What made this even more frustrating was the contrast with the billing department. Billing-related inquiries were typically answered within about an hour, while requests for assistance with active installation issues often received little or no response. That inconsistency gave the impression that customer support was prioritized only after public reviews were posted rather than when customers actually needed help. The installers, estimator, and project manager earned our appreciation through their professionalism and dedication. However, the company's customer support did not meet the standard implied by its advertised 24/7 service. I hope Fuse improves its responsiveness and accountability, because the quality of customer service should match the quality of its installation team. [Experience Before Project Completion] We hired Fuse to install a heat pump HVAC system, including replacing the entire ductwork, as well as to replace our water heater. During the HVAC installation, the crew cut open sections of our drywall but left them unfinished. We had to arrange for a handyman team through Fuse to repair and cover the damaged areas before the HVAC installation could be completed. This created inconvenience. After the first day of work, we completely lost access to hot water. As a result, we had no hot showers and were unable to use several household appliances, including our washing machine and dishwasher. Fuse advertises 24/7 service, but that was not our experience. We called nearly every Fuse phone number we could find through Google and AI search tools, but every call was answered only by an AI bot. We left multiple urgent messages and received no response. We also emailed customer service and several Fuse employees involved with our projects, but none of our emails were answered. When the Fuse representatives first came to inspect our home and provide estimates, they were friendly and professional. Unfortunately, once the projects began, communication and customer support essentially disappeared. It felt like no one was taking responsibility for resolving the issues we encountered.
