We had our water heater start leaking around 10 PM, and suddenly had no hot water. I reached out to Tai at CK Plumbing that night, and he responded almost immediately, which was such a relief. He came out first thing the next morning, arrived early, and took the time to thoroughly explain what happened, what our options were, and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. His pricing was very reasonable, and within about 2 hours we had a brand new water heater installed and everything was back up and running. He also pointed out a few upgrades I should consider for my main water line to improve both water pressure and safety. I really appreciated that he took the time to educate me without being pushy--it showed that he genuinely cared about making sure everything in my home was working safely and properly. Tai is hands down the rudest tradesperson I have ever dealt with! His customer service is shocking. I hired him for multiple jobs, and his repeated sarcasm and condescending attitude made him deeply unpleasant to deal with. Instead of answering reasonable questions professionally, he would latch onto something I said and repeatedly mock it. Customers deserve to ask questions without being made to feel stupid. WORST attitude I've ever experienced. His handling of follow-up concerns was equally disappointing. I felt dismissed rather than listened to, with little willingness to investigate concerns or take responsibility. I also felt that some additional work he suggested was unnecessary and inadequately justified. Cleanup fell short as well. Paying for a plumbing job should include reasonable care for the customer's home - not leaving the customer to deal with the aftermath. His plumbing work was generally decent, but that does not compensate for disrespectful treatment, poor cleanup, and a dismissive response when concerns arise. Professionalism matters throughout the job, including after payment. Some plumbing issues arose after one of his jobs, and his dismissive response left me paying other plumbers to investigate and address them. That added expense, combined with his unwillingness to take my concerns seriously, further undermined my confidence in his workmanship and accountability. I would not hire Tai again and strongly advise anyone who values respectful communication and accountability to look elsewhere! read more

We have used Thai maybe 4 times over the course of 10 years or so for a variety of issues and the work and professionalism are top notch and we have found him to be very trustworthy and honest. Today he was here to replace 50 feet of old ABS pipe that had pin holes and he was in and out in under 3 hours. Needed someone to come out to see if they can replace an under mount kitchen sink. Made the appointment on a Thursday, for a Saturday 11am visit. Saturday rolls around, it's 1120a. Called and he said he had an emergency, can we move the appointment to 130p. I agreed. It's 140pm, I called, doesn't pick up, instead texts, "Can I call you later?" He calls at 159pm, and kinda laughs and says that he forgot he has an appointment. He asked if I could take a pic of the sink and text it to him. Basically, he's not coming out. I take a pic and send it. He calls back at 201pm, and says "Yeah, no we can't do that." What a waste of my time. Be better about booking your appointments and fulfilling them. If it was an emergency, and you knew you had an appt booked, call me and let me know. read more

I had a great experience with Tai! He installed my Waterdrop RO water filtration system and connected it to both my kitchen sink and refrigerator. He was very friendly, showed up right on time, communicated clearly and promptly, and got everything done quickly. The work was clean and well done, and his pricing was very reasonable too. What I appreciated most was the service afterward. It turned out that the Waterdrop RO system I bought wasn't really designed to work with a refrigerator, and Tai came back to help fix the fridge water line and make sure everything was working properly. Kai addressed a leak under sink, and while the scheduling was a bit off at first, he and my tenant were able to coordinate. The main concern was the lack of a clear explanation for the repair. When asked, Kai mentioned a 'leaking kitchen faucet' and an issue with the 'air gap pipe,' but there was no further detail. Based on photos, it seems the dishwasher's air vent pipe may have been the real culprit, causing the water to spill out. However, I'm concerned more how faucet leaking had repaired. I'm hoping the fix holds up for the long. Updated 9/12/2025 Kai gave me a call to explanation how he fixed the leaking issue and offer one year warranty. Kai is a really hard working person. I highly recommend Tai Thai for his excellent work replacing my main water valve after I discovered a water leak in my front yard. Tai was very professional, responsive, and arrived promptly as promised. He and his co-worker worked diligently throughout the project and completed everything on time with great attention to detail. In addition to replacing the main valve, Tai also replaced the main water pressure regulator to help maintain the water pressure below 60 PSI instead of the previous 100 PSI. The stronger water pressure could have potentially damaged the pipes and plumbing fixtures inside the house over time, so I truly appreciate his recommendation and expertise. We met Tai when he came out to give me a bid for repiping our house. Shortly after, we had some issues with our kitchen sink and needed some new pipes. I reached out to a bunch of plumbers, Tai included and Tai was super responsive and quick. He was able to come out the next day with all the materials and helped us install new pipes. Tai also pointed out that our sink drain was rusted and it should be replaced. We told him to proceed so he went out, got the parts and came right back to install it for us. We also had a leak due to previous plumber installing a pipe that was too short and he went ahead and swapped that out for us for a longer one so the leak won't happen again. Tai is by far the most knowledgeable, responsive and affordable plumber that I have worked with. I first worked with Tai to help replace a couple of kitchen faucets and saw how efficient, clean and punctual he was. From there, he has assisted with several larger projects including: installing a reverse osmosis water filtration system and also making several upgrades to our water heater including installing a descaler, expanding the input valve and setting up the recirculation pump which allowed us to get hot water in every part of the house within 10 seconds instead of 2 minutes. We have now used Tai twice. Once, for replacement of 2 bathroom faucets and the shower faucet/handle, which turned into a slightly more extensive job due to needing to replace old piping with copper. Him and his nephew did a great job, so we called him back for the next job, replacing our garbage disposal. He was able to come at a very reasonable time/day in relation to when we initially called and both jobs were done in a very timely manner. I did contact other plumbers before we contacted Tai and found him to be very reasonable regarding price as well.
