Kai addressed a leak under sink, and while the scheduling was a bit off at first, he and my tenant were able to coordinate. The main concern was the lack of a clear explanation for the repair. When asked, Kai mentioned a 'leaking kitchen faucet' and an issue with the 'air gap pipe,' but there was no further detail. Based on photos, it seems the dishwasher's air vent pipe may have been the real culprit, causing the water to spill out. However, I'm concerned more how faucet leaking had repaired. I'm hoping the fix holds up for the long. Updated 9/12/2025 Kai gave me a call to explanation how he fixed the leaking issue and offer one year warranty. Kai is a really hard working person. I called to schedule an appointment to have my pipes looked at for a new home insurance policy, and was told they could be by in an hour. We met Tai when he came out to give me a bid for repiping our house. Shortly after, we had some issues with our kitchen sink and needed some new pipes. I reached out to a bunch of plumbers, Tai included and Tai was super responsive and quick. He was able to come out the next day with all the materials and helped us install new pipes. Tai also pointed out that our sink drain was rusted and it should be replaced. We told him to proceed so he went out, got the parts and came right back to install it for us. We also had a leak due to previous plumber installing a pipe that was too short and he went ahead and swapped that out for us for a longer one so the leak won't happen again. Tai is by far the most knowledgeable, responsive and affordable plumber that I have worked with. I first worked with Tai to help replace a couple of kitchen faucets and saw how efficient, clean and punctual he was. From there, he has assisted with several larger projects including: installing a reverse osmosis water filtration system and also making several upgrades to our water heater including installing a descaler, expanding the input valve and setting up the recirculation pump which allowed us to get hot water in every part of the house within 10 seconds instead of 2 minutes. We have now used Tai twice. Once, for replacement of 2 bathroom faucets and the shower faucet/handle, which turned into a slightly more extensive job due to needing to replace old piping with copper. Him and his nephew did a great job, so we called him back for the next job, replacing our garbage disposal. He was able to come at a very reasonable time/day in relation to when we initially called and both jobs were done in a very timely manner. I did contact other plumbers before we contacted Tai and found him to be very reasonable regarding price as well. Really good plumbing service. We used CK Plumbing to install a reverse osmosis water filter system in our sink and to our fridge. We got a good price and the job was done quickly. He also came on time for the initial consult and when he came back to install. We would use CK Plumbing again for other plumbing needs. Had a clogged bathtub. I've used drano and the like in the past, but you shouldn't overdo it. Reached out to Tai via Yelp at around 9pm on a Friday, got a reply within about 20 minutes that he was available and able to come out and help on Saturday between 10 and 11. I replied that this works. On Saturday he messaged me that he was on his way and will be arriving in 20, he was at my house right on time. Looked everything over, gave me a great price. Terrific service. Responded to phone call immediately. I described kitchen sink drain line was clogged in my signal story floor. Gave me an estimate of $185 and said he could come by around 3PM. He arrived at 3:30 and texted 30 minutes prior. Accessed clog from under sink with his snake and was done within 30 minutes leaving the access clean and dry. Paid $165 for cash. After finding out our go-to guy didn't do sink replacements, I used Yelp projects to find someone in the area who could take care of this massive job--replace 20+ year old kitchen and bathroom sink fixtures (5 of them), and replace a garbage disposal. CK was one of the guys who answered promptly and was very straightforward with a quote and forthcoming with other details and information. He and his team were able to get over to my parents' home in 2 days time. They worked quickly and efficiently, but boy it was a big job! They definitely earn their money. We suspected the toilet requires rebuilding the entire kit in the tank to resolve the leak. Tai diagnosed the issue to the valve and flapper being the issue. I've used Tai several times in the past at a couple properties, and he has always been VERY responsive and timely. Yesterday, my mother's water heater failed. She called her usual company, and they couldn't come out for another 2 days...and 2 days without hot water sucks.
