Very prompt and seamless. Todd responded to me right away. He always kept me posted. Tai arrived a bit earlier than scheduled, which is great. He was very methodical and gave us enough time for our slow drain issue. He wasn't in a rush. He took care of another related but side issue as well. Overall great experience. In terms of pricing I do not know whether they charge on par with others or less or more. You may want to check it out. read more

Fast communication through Yelp messaging and quick service for an emergency weekend call. Had back to back bathroom sinks clogged and I couldn't snake or Drano it anymore. Called the professionals to assist. He helped to create a more accessible entry pipe for me to snake (myself or someone else) if the drains clog again in the future. read more

Once again, Yelp came to rescue. I had a slow drain on the kitchen, which connects to the garage sink also. I tried to fix it myself with the snake, which fixed similar problem in the past. Only this time, it wouldn't budge even after I tried for an hour. Quickly looked up Yelp and contacted a few top rated rooter services in the area. Tai @Drain doctor replied right away and told me he is available right now. I texted him the address and he quickly showed up. He got to work right away, with the hydro-jet tool, the grease came out of the drain was disgusting and I was glad the pipe is now clean. Within 15 min. problem solved. I love the no bullshit way of doing business. BTW, price was reasonable also. read more

He looked around and identified the problem and solution right away. Fixed my issue within 30minutes! Would highly recommend him to everyone. Skip the $79 deal that they advertised out there and call up Tai! Save yourself the hassle and bullshit the other big companies will give you! read more

My kitchen sink was clogged, and Todd came to the rescue. He responded quickly and arrived on time. In less than 45 minutes, he diagnosed the issue, removed the P-trap, used the snake to clear the clog, and cleaned up ($185). He also did a camera inspection of the main line under my house ($150); it wasn't necessary, but I requested it for peace of mind because we've had mainline backups in the past. Great service from a local, independent business. Thanks, Todd! read more

Came right away. Drain cleared promptly. Reasonable Pricing. I will use them again when needed. read more

Our 1970s home has been having toilet issues for years with "I clogged the toilet again!" from many random family members. We were so done with it. I called Drain Rooter for a quote and I got an appointment within 12 hours. Tai's quote was very fair for replacing 2 toilets and the best price we had received. Right away, he was able to contact his associate with the camera to make sure nothing was clogging the drainage pipes, which were most concerned about. Tai was very efficient and clean with his work. He explained things very well and his associate took the time to explain things also and showed us the inside of the pipes on his camera. He did not recommend our master bedroom toilet to be replaced at this time. We greatly appreciated his advice. We would highly recommend Drain Rooter for your next plumbing repair or project! read more

Between the recent 4.0+ earthquakes & tree roots, we sprung a leak in our pipe that brings water into our home. I did a quick Yelp search and the closes one was Drain Rooter. I called at 6:30PM and Tai answered. After explaining what was wrong, he was able to come over the next morning to assess the situation. Apparently most of the homes in my neighborhood have pvc pipes and since this is the second time I'm fixing this, they're horrible. Tai recommended running a new copper pipe and it's even guaranteed for five years. It was definitely more then I expected to pay however they way Tai explained it made perfect sense. He was patient with all my questions and very friendly. I had a good feeling about him and trusted what he was recommending. He completed the job on the same day. He even helped us adjust our water pressure which was horrible due to the leak & setting. It's so much better now! Would definitely use him again for our plumbing needs. Would recommend! Really nice guy! read more

Tai is a seasoned plumber who cares about his work and for him, results matter. He has good rates, does great work and he and his team are professionals. He diagnosed my issue quickly and even made sure the city came out to clear the main line under the road, which ultimately caused my sewer backup issue to begin with! After reviewing long term correction options for my situation, we ended up going with a new sewer line from the street to my house. They did a great job and his main guy Paul is a down to earth, good guy. Tai is now my go to plumber. Recommended with 5 stars. Happy customer!!! read more

Todd is my go to plumber needs for our house. I recently had a kitchen leak during Thanksgiving after noticing the leak at 2am. I tried my best to resolve it myself but had no luck. Emailed Todd and he responded the next day and we set up a time to meet. What appeared to be a simple fix turned into something more tedious. Todd was able to fix my issue after determining that the material that helped water dispense from my sink was deteriorating. He replaced the piece and left. I was happy then found that I continued to have another leak under my sink due to my clumsiness. Todd stopped by righted everything and left without charging me his additional visit. I came back again to find that my sink was still leaking from my garbage disposal, I showed Todd my pictures. He came by the next day and put in a longer pipe since my prior one was too small which caused the leakage. Still no charge for his additional time and effort coming by. I appreciate all of his hard work and time. With all of the holidays planning and party, getting this sink leakage fixed helped relieve my anxiety. read more

We installed a low flow toilet a few months back and know our way around plumbing problems. And when our snake only got to 12' and couldn't go further, we knew we needed a professional with More Power! Todd and his team are terrific. I called around 715am and he was there by 8am on the same day. No extra cost to me. And for a very fair price, he did a second story snake with his power snake thing. Within 15-20 minutes, the yuck that was in our cast iron sewer pipe was gone. This is the first time we've had to deal with the sewer side of things and I'm grateful it was handled so easily. We chose to put the toilet back on ourselves and he made it clear we should let him know if there were any problems. (there weren't) If I ever need help again, I would call Todd right away. I appreciate that he has set prices for common things. And no, this isn't a fake review from someone who knew him. read more

Tai was amazing!! He was quick at it and knew exactly what was going on with the leakage! High recommend him! Will be a return costumer until he near future if anything were to happen with plumbing issues. Thanks, Tai! read more

Tai unplugged kitchen drain. Very detailed, courteous, and quality work. Explained and showed blockages, cleaned out very well, gave tips on how to lessen clog occurrences, took shoes off when entering home, prompt, thorough, charged just what was quoted. Would use this company again. read more

Todd quickly came to the rescue when we had a backup caused by tree roots. He was upfront about the cost for snaking the drain and came within 30 minutes of my call, even on a Saturday. Would highly recommend reaching out to Todd for any plumbing related issues! read more

he texted me and came out quickly the same day to help fix drain clog issue. He didn't charge me for helping tighten a loose faucet as well.

My kid put pineapple peel into disposal and clogged the drain. Used Yelp to get quotes from a few plumbers. Todd responded promptly with a very competitive quote and immediately sent his staff over. Tu showed up within an hour and was very courteous. He brought blankets to protect the floor and even took off shoes before entering the house. Yes, I am a traditional Asian. :-) Tu is very knowledgeable and professional. Seeing that my drain doesn't have a clearout, he offered to install a connector at a very reasonable cost. Without it, he cannot run the snake since it can damage P-trap's built-in seal. I told him it's too late because I have run the snake through P-trap earlier, which failed to unclog the pipe. So Tu cut off the P-trap and visually examined the inner seal. Sure enough, it's damaged and leaked when put back on. Fortunately, he was able to repair it with PVC cement and magically stopped the leak, at no extra cost. BIG thanks to Tu! Running snake didn't take long since Tu is very experienced. But he spent a lot of time to carefully reconnect and tighten the pipes, check drainage and sign of leakage, repair P-trap, check again, load up water, check again, load up water and check again. My only complaint of the company is their perfectionism. Tu spent a lot of time and used a lot of water to make sure there is no leakage after the job is done, probably cost me 10 cents. Will send him the water bill! ;-) BTW, they also provide 30-day warranty, so I will definitely call them if my kids put pineapple peel into disposal again. Just kidding, Todd and Tu, I will pay for that since I know your work is perfect, and it must be my kids doing the stupid things again. :-) read more

Tai came to my site within 1-2 hours of me calling him for help which is super fast. He also went above and beyond his job description by locating the sewer cover that was hidden underneath the fake grass. Very friendly, approachable, and professional compared to the other plumbers I called. I don't normally write positive reviews unless they're deserved, and Tai deserves this one. Thank you. read more

Tai and his crew just help me with re-pipe the whole house in one day. The work done is very precise and professional(i.e., no extra big cut into ceiling or walls), they test everything before patching up. Tai is highly recommended by a friend of mine, and his quote is by far the best among my other quotes. Would definitely use them again. read more

Had sewer backed up from toilet into our shower and flooded the whole shower. It was nasty. A quick call with Todd and he was at our house in an hour. Our house doesnt have a clean out so he had to snake from the roof (which many rooter refused to do). 15 mins and the shitty shower drained. He was very nice and we appreciate his no BS demeanor. Straight forward. Great guy. Price is reasonable as well read more

Called Drain Rooter Service because our toilets weren't flushing properly and Todd said he could come take a quick look. We were previously told by others that we need an entire pipe replacement. Todd did a quick inspection and confirmed we just needed to replace our toilets... he didnt try to sell this or that. Asked if he was free to come install new toilets for us within the next week and he said he would be free the following morning to come install. He came, installed, and we were ready to use!
