Had an emergency during the night. I called and ask for some help and they had a guy come out within the hour and unclogged my toilet. He was very much professional and got the job done for me. I called Local Rooter to replace two faucets for our washing machine after we ran into a leaky faucet issue that was holding up the installation. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. The pricing was fair and transparent, with no surprise charges or upselling. On top of that, the service was incredibly fast. They got the job done quickly and professionally without cutting any corners. I really appreciate the quick turnaround and how easy they made the whole process. I'd happily call them again and recommend them to anyone needing reliable plumbing work. read more

Duy and Jaime were great to work with. Quick response time and were able to unclog the line that a previous plumber couldn't get to. They installed a 2 way clean out and fixed and replaced the leaking pipes under the house. Very professional and punctual. Super grateful for them. Thank you again!! read more

Quick response, next-day AM service call & service restored shortly thereafter. Can't say enough about Louie & his team.

Picture this: it's Sunday afternoon. Your water has been shutoff for 2 hours while trying to replace a leaky stop valve. Your wife is getting upset because she can't use the restroom since the main water valve has been shutoff. I can't figure out what's going on, so end up calling Local Rooter & Plumbing. They squeeze me in for a last minute appointment after finishing up their last job. Duy and Quang were able to quickly identify the problem. It turns out that I had overtightened on the compression ring on the stop-valve so much that I deformed the copper water supply line. They had to to cut and extend the water supply line. It costed a bit more than the original quote but was worth every dollar. I highly recommend them and will use them again. Also special shout-out to them for taking off their shoes as soon as they entered my place. read more

Duy, Dookie, unsure of the name, Horrible plumber. No follow-up. Texted, called, and no response. Bad attitude and uninterested in solving a major leak. All guess work. There are great plumbers out there. This is not one of them. Weeks later, still no response. Hired a pro. No guess work, problem solved. read more

They came out same day and got our sink unclogged and draining again. I appreciated their responsiveness and the 30 day guarantee if it clogs again. I would definitely use them again. read more

They were only one who would pick up our phone call and came out after 9 PM to check broken sewer and in-house flooding. Duey came out and follow up our repair after our 2nd flooding. Our bathroom sink had a bad leak. We tried many things to fix it, but needed a professional. Quan from Local Rooter made the repair in 30 minutes! (Seriously, why did I wait so long to call??) The team at Local Rooter is on time, professional and efficient. Highly recommend them. read more

They came on time, worked quickly and solved our issue efficiently. They also operate 24 hours but obviously with a higher rate at night.

We had a sewer line backup at 11pm at our home which we rent. The owner himself responded to us and was at the house within an hour of our call. Super knowledgeable and definitely felt like he had our best interest in mind. He had the line cleared quickly! read more

Our water softener broke and released 20 pounds of orange crap into our entire water system, so no water anywhere in the house, and everything needed flushing out or replacing. Initial impression with Local Rooter was very good because he came on the weekend, figured out the problem, and was nice and responsive. But then it got weird. He came a few times and each visit cost between $1,000-$2,000, but he never gave me receipts. He fixed 3 toilets, but one stopped working a week later. He wasn't able to get the shower heads off to fix these, so he told me to buy replacement shower kits myself to save money, along with one more part that was back-ordered everywhere. In the end we paid ~$4,000 for ~10-14 total hours of labor and some cheap parts, and we didn't have a working shower in the house for 7 weeks while waiting for the magic part. After asking 5 times finally got a bill, but it was more of a laundry list with no rhyme or reason to the amount. Called another plumber who noticed the back-ordered part was in the box with the complete shower kit all along, told us one shower kit was wrong, and noticed that because Local Rooter manhandled the aerator in the kitchen faucet (vs. using a $1 part every plumber should have), damaged it so our water doesn't flow smoothly. Within 3 visits he was able to get the showers fixed and new parts installed, fix the one toilet, but after going to Ace and Home Depot, couldn't replace the damaged aerator because it's atypical, so we'll have a permanent reminder of Local Rooter every time we do dishes. The new plumber's bill: $1,000. read more

Had several problems around the house including water leaking into the bathroom vanity, our garbage disposal not working, and us wanting a quote for changing our water heater. Jaime came to meet me and hands down is one of the most honest, hard working, and humble dudes I have ever met. He professionally assessed each problem and took the time to explain what he thought was going on or what the problem was and best of all, his help and advice was not centered on how much money they could make but what was best for us. I walked away very happy from the visit and will continue to call on Local Rooter in the future. read more

Both of our bathrooms backed up and my tenants had JUST moved in. I called around frantically trying to find a plumber at 12:30AM on a holiday weekend and Duy answered and was out at the property within 30 min.! He's fairly priced and transparent. He was very communicative throughout the process. He wasn't able to clear the line so he didn't charge fr work and not even for the emergency call because I contracted him to return fr additional necessary work. I will be using him again in the future. I recommend calling him for any plumbing needs. Thanks, Duy! read more

Overall: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Professionalisms: 5/5 TLDR; was able to have a same day appointment scheduled, arrived on-time, cleaned out and replaced my pipe. Pricing was also very reasonable. ~~~~ My husband and I noticed that our toilet would spewing out water from time to time so decided to reach out to Local Rooter & Plumbing to come for an on-site visit. We had a scheduled appointment for 10:30 AM and they showed up on time and told us that they would be able to hydro jet the pipes to clear anything blocking the sewage. They even had a camera go down to double check that everything was cleaned. A couple months later, I also had them replace some old pipes that had been badly done by a previous plumber that looked like a rollercoaster (it went up/down and zigzagged all over). They called us 30 minutes prior to arriving, helped take before and after pictures for us, and also explained to us everything they did. They even cleaned up the area after they left. I would highly recommend them! read more

Duy and team provide fantastic service. Reached out to him first about 7 years ago to address an emergency situation with sewer backup late in the night. He addressed it promptly, ran diagnostics the next day to find tree roots, cleared those out, installed clean out, etc - all at reasonable costs and high quality of service. He provides estimates with various choices and works with you to understand your short term and longer term needs. And provides appropriate recommendations. Since then he is my go-to contact for all plumbing needs over the years. Highly recommend you to try his services for your plumbing needs. read more

Local Rooter & Plumbing (LR&P) is deserving for my 300th Yelp review. I consider myself pretty handy when it comes to fixing things. But you have limits and have to call a professional. Local Rooter & Plumbing answered the call on a Sunday afternoon. Scope of work, fix small water main leak coming from under the sidewalk. I called LR&P and met Duy, what a guy. Professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the scope of work and the materials he would be using. Never felt rush or tried to upsell things I didn't need. Duy is a sincere person who does good work. This is why I went with LR&P. Quote provided was inline with the quotes I received from other places. I'm glad Local Rooter & Plumbing came to the rescue and provided a great experience. Work was completed on time. It can be nerve rackening trying to find a good honest company. It's been a few months since the repair work and I'm happy to report, no leak. read more

Not enough STArs! This team is amazing! My contact was Duy! My INITIAL issue was a slow drain, and almost immediately, Jaime is over to assess the situation, and resolved issue within 30 minutes of arrival. During the quality inspection, Jaime identified an even bigger issue... the pipe that caused the slow drain actually had a rusted crack and was leaking onto the foundation. That needed to be addressed, however, very costly. Jaime and Duy consulted and presented the cost to me, and reduced the cost significantly since financing a project like this during these uncertain times is a bit challenging. After agreeing to the cost, Jaime was back the following day to replace rusted iron pipe with PVC! This company gave me a piece of mind, and highly recommend them! Although I hope I dont have any future plumbing issues... if they were to arise, I will definitely call Duy and Jaime again! read more

We had an issue with the water valves that are hooked up to our washer, and since Duy installed a new main water valve in our front yard last year, we called him up. He wasn't available to come by, but he sent Alex over to our house the same day to check it out. Alex suggested replacing the valves and left to get the parts, and the problem was taking care of after just 15 minutes to replace the parts. Alex is quite the character and a very personable guy. Duy and his team did a great job replacing our main water valve last year, and I would absolutely recommend these guys if you need their services. There's a reason they have very good reviews on Yelp. They are professsional, know their 'stuff', and both Alex and Duy were a pleasure to deal with. read more

Very good service. Alex (service tech) was really helpful with our problem, and better yet, did not charge us for the diagnostic help.

First off, this company has a SOLE contractors license. Meaning only the owner of the business is qualified and insured to work on the pipes. The operation they are running is completely illegal. I found all of this out after a multitude of headaches and thousands of dollars in damages later. I called them in a very bad position because they had great yelp reviews. The guy was super friendly and it was late; around 6:30 in the evening. Our main line was clogged and needed to be cleared before morning. Tony came out within an hour, made it seem like it was no big deal to unclog it. WRONG. While snaking the line he BROKE THE LINE; causing raw sewage to spew all over my hallway and proceeded to act like it was not his doing. Furniture wa destroyed along with valuable possessions. The bottom of the pipe he was snaking had a HUGE gash in it (18"-22" maybe, I didn't get too close to it. He blamed it on the pipes being old. He then called his friend who had a profession cleaning business. Long story short, he charged me for it all. Over $3000 in damages that he was at fault for. It was appalling, unprofessional and illegal. Do your homework. Don't get stuck in the position in I'm. Best part? The line wasn't even unclogged. We had to call Roto-Rooter a week later. read more

It's been a while since i've written a review but I will certainly take the time to do so when the quality of work is as impressive as the professionalism and all the other great qualities you can hope for with a service provider. One of the valves in our bathroom sink cracked and water started to leak everywhere so I had to shut the water off to the house. Luckily for us this was at the end of the day but also unlucky as most businesses were closed and this wasn't exactly an "emergency". I spoke with Duy and he set the first available appt with me next day @ 8am. He messaged while on the way and arrived perfectly on time. The sad part of the story is we had the EXACT same valve leak on us just 3 yrs ago and had another company come out to fix. Here's what set him apart from other contractors i've dealt with. 1. Super responsive 2. Punctual 3. Parked his vehicle on the street when I had a wide open driveway (he did this out of courtesy when EVERY contractor always assumes to park on the driveway with leaking oil, etc.). 4. Provided quote up front with no gimmicks/bait & switch and very reasonable for the work being performed. 5. He immediately put on booties before stepping into the house!!!! Some may assume this is standard practice but I can assure you it's NOT- as we have invested in booties to provide for contractors that don't bring with them. 6. He made a quick diagnosis of the issue and also explained the exact steps to resolution. 7. He gave SOLID advice on things to do around the house when it comes to plumbing. Thank you YELP for helping me to find Local Rooter & Plumbing as they will be our sole "go to" for all things plumbing related. A+++ read more

Called at 2pm on a Saturday. Pleasantly surprised to find that someone picked up. Gave him the problem (clogged kitchen sink). There comes a time in every mother's life where she just needs to call a professional. After 3 days of my kitchen sink being backed up, trying everything I could think of, I had to throw in the towel and call someone to help save me from myself. I called about 15 services, had one no-show appointment, and got a call back from maybe 3 places, with no availability. When your home is in chaos, it's really frustrating to have to find some reliable help. Local Rooter picked up my call, and sent a service man within the hour. Alex was prompt, professional, respectful and really, really nice. My kitchen was up and running in less than hour, and I was so greatful to have called Local Rooter. Alex also gave me pointers to avoid this situation in the future, and gave me advice on how to make a better-flowing set up. I hope we never do business together again, but I will definitely be letting my neighbors know to skip the hassle and call you first. Thank you again! read more

It was almost a year to the day where we had a plumbing issue. We started hearing a gurgling noise from the bath tub, toilets so we knew it had to be dealt with. We didn't have to go far as we've had previous experience with these guys. Jaime came in 10 minutes earlier than the appointment. Professional and thorough as he explained what the culprit was to our clog. From a camera view towards the end, he showed us that there was 1) a break in the pipe and 2) a root that broke through the pipe. He was able to point out the locations as well as possible resolutions moving forward. Service and was quick and we had the rest of the day to enjoy. Definitely a number to keep on speed dial. read more
