Shogun plumbing is Awesome! Danny runs a great business! He was able to respond in a very timely manner and was able to get to the job very quickly! The other companies I called did not answer their phones since it was the weekend. Shogun plumbing does excellent work! Replaced a 30+ year old rusted on faucet in no time. His rates are very fairs for the timeliness and quality of work he performs! Very high quality and I highly recommend him and his company!! 5+ stars!! read more

These guys are great. Responsive to quote, competitive pricing and do great work. They replaced a shower valve. they had to cut a hole in drywall. They did that and also repaired the hole. Will use them again! read more

Danny was honest and helpful and I would definitely want to work with him again in the future. I had a minor plumbing issue and scheduled time with Danny to come take a look. Instead of upselling me on intensive work, Danny plainly stated how I could save a ton of money by performing the simple work myself and showing me what to do. I've had lots of bad experiences with sleazy plumbers who overcharge like crazy, but Danny's honesty and friendly manners is a breath of fresh air. Highly recommended! read more

I learned the hard way that a sawzall will cut through a copper water pipe as easily as a little cut through drywall. After my unintended shower, I reached out to a local emergency plumber to try to get this fixed ASAP. Out of the three plumbers I got a hold of shotgun was the only one that could get there in a timely manner. They did a quick assessment and fix the problem cleanly and neatly. I was very happy with not only their prompt response, but how quickly they took care of the issue as well. read more

I reached out to Danny to install a Moen Flo smart water shutoff device. He got back to me quickly and gave a very reasonable quote even despite the challenging fit. He installed everything quickly and did an extraordinarily clean job. Danny was extremely communicative and prompt with both the consultation and installation appointments. I'll definitely book Shogun Plumbing again for future jobs! read more

Hands down best contractor I have ever worked with from any trade. Professional, knowledgeable, fair, detail oriented, efficient, great value provided. I hired him to fix a leak under my toilet that another plumbing company had come to fix just under a year ago. Shogun plumbing was proactive about fixing problems they identify that will become future issues. To give you a sense of just how detail oriented he made sure the toilet seat was recentered even though that wasn't part of fixing the leak. He just really cares and has great customer service. read more

Danny at Shogun Plumbing is the real deal. Came out the same evening I called, diagnosed a cast iron sewer leak under the kitchen, pulled the permit with the city, and had his crew replace the line in one day. Honest, responsive, and didn't oversell the scope of work. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with sewer or drain issues in the South Bay. read more

It was a great experience working with Danny from Shogun Plumbing. I needed the drain in the bath room unclogged and it is on a Sunday. His response was quick and was able to set up the appointment for him to come over with in an hour. Danny came on time and unclogged the drain very easily. I will reach out to him again when I need a plumber next time. read more

I had a great experience with Danny from Shogun Plumbing. I had him come out to replace my old water main valve, which had worn out. After he gave me the estimate (which was much more competitive than others'), he said he had the parts to do the job right away. He changed the valve from the old multi-turn gate valve to a 1/4 turn ball valve. He was meticulous in his work and did a very professional job. Since the water main valve replacement went so smoothly, I asked whether Danny could also replace my shower cartridge, which had been getting hard to pull on and off. I had already bought the part and was planning to do it myself. Luckily, I asked him to do it, as the cartridge was corroded into the pipe and was very difficult to remove. Through sheer will, grit, and some ingenuity, Danny figured out how to remove the old cartridge and install the new one. Danny was easy to talk to, very courteous, punctual, and highly competent. I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again. read more

Danny is honest, hardworking, and the final pricing was good. We had an urgent sewage leak in our condo complex where the clog could have come from any of the pipes. He patiently works to unclog the pipes, one at a time, and found the pipe that was plugged up. It was a big relief to see the drain going down again. Danny then stuck around to help us get in contact with the City to clear the sewage waste that spilled onto the street, which was not expected. I highly recommend this plumber. A+++++ read more

Danny was very quick to respond when I reached out regarding a slow training bathtub and set up an appointment the next day. He arrived promptly at the start of the potential appointment window and was thorough in addressing the issue. He answered all of my questions about the specific issue we hired him for, as well as provided additional subject matter expertise related to some other questions that we had about plumbing in our ADU and our hot water heater. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We would be happy to use his services again in the future. read more

Was referred by a neighbor of mine when I had a very urgent water leak that needed to be taken care of. Very professional, polite, and explained the work done. Communication was great over the phone and text messages. I've used other plumbers for other issues but never felt I wanted to use them again, much less write a review for. Danny and Shogun delivered exactly what I needed them to. read more

Has Danny to come install the water monitoring system swift and clean work. Also Danny has helped to fix some of the facet issues. Later I also asked Danny to advise some of my plumbering issues, always very fast and responsive. Definitely would recommend. read more

I had a bit of a disappointing experience with Shogun Plumbing. I asked them to come out and look at an issue where my pipes make noise whenever the hot water is turned on. The plumber who arrived was nice enough, but unfortunately, he wasn't able to diagnose the problem on the spot. He told me he would ask some of the other plumbers on his team and get back to me with some ideas. Unfortunately, I never heard back from him. I understand that some plumbing issues can be tricky to figure out, but I would have really appreciated a quick follow-up call either way. Because of the lack of communication, I'm still stuck with the noisy pipes. read more

We've hired Shogan Plumbing multiple times, and every experience has been excellent. Danny, who runs the company, is truly amazing to work with. He's incredibly knowledgeable and hands-on, and he does a fantastic job diagnosing issues, clearly explaining what's going on, and walking us through the best solution options without any pressure. What really sets Danny apart is how patient, responsive, and easy he is to work with. During a plumbing emergency, he responded within minutes and even came out to our home late in the evening on New Year's Eve to help us resolve the issue. That level of dedication and reliability is rare. read more

Did not hire since they asked for a consultation before giving an estimate, but never scheduled one. Of the four plumbing companies Yelp reached out to for me, all said an on-site consultation was necessary for a wax ring replacement estimate. Even though I marked it as non-urgent, two sent someone almost immediately that same day (a Wednesday) and the third scheduled an appointment for the next day (Thursday). Shogun was the only one that didn't ever offer an appointment (that is, a two-hour arrival window). They replied "Yea how about Friday???" and I said Friday afternoon would be acceptable if I didn't hire someone else first. Meanwhile, three competitors gave me two-hour arrival windows for the same day or next day, and one sent me a tracking link when the truck was on its way. The competitors all had people in the office to coordinate and communicate while the technicians are working. I didn't feel my communication over Yelp with Shogun's office was effective. Their only other message was in response to my question about why everyone requests an in-person consultation when "they can't see the wax ring or the flange without lifting the toilet. Once the toilet is lifted, the wax ring must be replaced, whether it was damaged or not, right?" They replied "Yes need to replace if you pull the toilet all the time". It was unclear whether that meant meant "move it frequently" or "replacement is required every time", but in case they misinterpreted my question. I clarified that the toilet had never been moved. (I've read that one advantage of wax-free rings is for cases where a toilet is going to be repositioned, which is not the case, so I wanted to make sure they didn't recommend that option based on a misunderstanding.) I got no further reply. No appointment window was confirmed by the time I accepted another company's estimate on Thursday. I notified Shogun and the others as a courtesy. Both of the others acknowledged, but Shogun not. The two terse messages I quoted were all I received from them. I assume this licensed plumbing company would have been qualified to do the job, but my interchange over Yelp gives me no confidence that they will schedule and keep appointments, or would have kept me informed about status, explained my options clearly, or provided a written estimate as the three others did. The other three Yelp connected me to all had office staff and used third-party IT apps to send estimates and even arrival information. read more

Absolutely amazing service. They were one of the first companies to respond to my request on Yelp, and they allowed our whole conversation to be booked online, which I'm a big fan of. They were also available next day to fix our leaky toilet, which is a Toto and can be finicky with parts. They estimated to come by between 10am-1pm, but came on the earlier side which I appreciated. He took off his shoes to respect our house, which I was impressed by! He had no issues looking at the toilet, diagnosing the issue, and making sure it was fixed. It took less than an hour to fix, and he had his senior come review his work. We're incredibly satisfied with the quality and value of what he did for us, especially in such a short amount of time and the fact that he had the parts on hand to fix our toilet! We'll definitely keep these guys in mind for any issues that might come up in the future. So nice, respectful, and great value for the work! read more

I contacted Shogun plumbing to help with a jammed kitchen sink garbage disposal. They were able to fix the issue in no time and at a very reasonable price. Bought a house that had been "updated" and flipped. Naturally, a lot of the "updates" were done on the cheap, including plumbing work. He showed up within an hour and got the problem solved way better than I expected. Can't say enough good. Thank you very much! read more

Danny of Shogun Plumbing did an awesome job with a plumbing problem in one of our bathrooms. He was punctual, considerate of our home's carpet floor, efficient and got the job done very quickly. He was also generous with his time advising us on other issues we needed help with, including connecting a water line to the refrigerator. I 100% recommend Danny to anyone, and I would most definitely call him the next time we need a plumber. read more

Working with Danny was a pleasure. He was very responsive, knowledgeable and fast. He helped install 4 bathroom faucets, replace the corresponding drain pipes, install 2 bidets and also fixed my toilet tank which kept filling up with water. For this service he visited my home 3 times, gave me good advice on what parts to buy and charge me only once and I felt this was fair. I will be working with Danny for all my plumbing issues going forward read more

I rarely write reviews, but Shogun Plumbing definitely earned this one. My old garbage disposal gave out unexpectedly and started leaking all over the place. I called a few places, but Shogun stood out right away -- super friendly on the phone, gave me a clear idea of what to expect, and were able to come out the next day. The plumber, Danny, who showed up was on time, professional, and explained everything he was doing in a way that made sense. He didn't try to upsell me or push anything unnecessary -- just replaced the unit quickly, tested it thoroughly, and cleaned up like he was never there. The new disposal is running perfectly and way quieter than the old one. Prices were fair and transparent, which I really appreciate. Honestly, just a smooth, stress-free experience from start to finish. If you need plumbing work done -- especially something like a garbage disposal replacement -- I highly recommend Shogun Plumbing. Danny is one of the best contractors I have ever worked with! We had a leak in our condo that he promptly repaired and helped us to trace it back to the underlying issue after the initial consult. We had a low water pressure issue that Shogun Plumbing expertly diagnosed. Other plumbers we called either placed the blame with the city after little to no hands-on discovery or just simply didnt call back after I left inquiry messages. Danny answered my call and was here the same day. He was courteous, patient, clean, and persistent --expertly ruling all potential causes one by one until he found the issue. He even replaced an old toilet value at no cost. I highly recommend Shogun Plumbing and will be calling them for my future plumbing needs. read more

Excellent experience! Danny was able to come within 2 hours of my call, on a Sunday night no less. I've found my plumber for all my plumbing needs going forward. Danny expertly replaced the flanges on two toilets. He also repaired the leaking drain below my shower. He explained that the drain was improperly installed, because the plastic was slightly contorted, causing stress in the material, leading to a crack. Just watching him, confirmed his attention to detail as he worked meticulously. He left the work area clean. I also asked him about the condition of my copper supply lines. He told me they were in good shape. The invoice charges were more than reasonable. Enjoyed working with a stellar, small business. read more

Very impressed by the plumbing work recently done by Danny. His systematic analysis to figure out the source of the problem was extremely helpful to fix the issue. Highly recommend Danny! We had another company come out and quote us over $2000 for a blockage in one of our pipes and we needed a second opinion. Danny answered the phone directly and offered to come take a look. He attempted to sort out the issue and when it came out that we needed a more involved solution, his quote was way more competitive than the first highly rated company that came out. We will definitely be contacting Danny if there are other plumbing needs and highly recommend him as he was patient with explaining the issue, prompt with getting back to us, and honest in his pricing. read more
