One of our vanity sinks sprung a sudden leak so I had to find a plumber rather urgently. At the same time, I had been meaning to tweak three other toilets so I added that into a project request. Mark was the first to reply. He is both the owner and the technician (with an assistant) so naturally if he's on a job, he typically won't be able to reply, despite that fact, he's pretty responsive. It's also nice to know that you'll get who you talk to and who you negotiate with so there definitely isn't any lapse in communications. He fit me in within a day and diagnosed the issue within a few seconds! He's very transparent, provided options and worked very quickly. This all happened during the heavy rains - yet he still made sure he wasn't bringing in any mud from a previous job and brought booties to cover their shoes. Mark (the owner of Triton Plumbing) came out recently to look at a few plumbing issues we had as our old plumber had no longer been reliable. Mark said he would be here between 8-10am and showed up right at 8:15am after texting me he was on his way! That means a lot to me. Plus, Mark was just a wealth of information. He didn't just jump right in to try to fix the issues but explained to us what he thought was going on, why it happened, and options for repair. They replaced an old toilet that had a cracked and leaking tank with a new toilet. They unclogged the kitchen drain and replaced two leaking outdoor faucets. I have to stop trying to be so healthy........ I often eat egg whites for breakfast. Usually about 5 or 6. Low in calories, full of awesome protein. Can't beat that! Especially when I pan fry it in a little bit of olive oil and makes it have a little bit of crunch, which I love when it comes to egg whites. The only problem with eating too much protein and not working out all the time is that I have a tendency to get constipated. I'm sure you know where this is going. Constipation..... review for a plumber........ Well, welcome to a little misdirection! Actually, what I meant to say was with all those egg whites, the yolks have to go somewhere. I usually just threw them down the drain. I know, bad Jamie! Well, unfortunately, I think all those egg yolks probably somehow contributed to a backed up kitchen sink. Thankfully, Triton Plumbing was able to come to the rescue the next day. The whole experience was painless. With Yelp, I was able to request quotes with 4 different companies. This was sent at midnight and Triton replied first at about 7 in the morning. Two other ones replied later in the afternoon and one of them replied 2 days later! Also to note, is that Triton was the cheapest. With such a short notice, he wasn't able to come that morning, but was available that afternoon. Unfortunately, I had to go into work, so he came early the next morning. He was there promptly at 9am. I'm not a plumbing expert, but I do know that the issue would probably be resolved with a quick "snaking" of the pipe. He walked me thru what he was going to do and even while he was doing it. He knew that it hadn't been snaked in awhile and judging by the movements of the snake and all the black water that was coming out, then I could easily agree. He was done in about 15 mins or so. He charged me $125, which was $25 cheaper than the rest. There is also a 30-day guarantee just in case it backs up again. A great experience and I would not hesitate to call him again if I had a plumbing issue. Although, I hope I don't see him any time in the near future. I am still going to eat healthy and eat egg whites for breakfast. However, I'll dispose of the egg yolks a different way. Like making flan or custard! Mmmmmmm!!!!
