We did our homework and compared 2 other plumbing services and chose Plumbing Point because of comparable cost, ability to explain the job thoroughly, and clear upfront cost analysis. Based on their initial assessment, we had to isolate where the leak was (between the street water meter to the house's wall). From there we cross-checked that they are honest. This was important because we are looking for a long-term source for future plumbing needs. Nathanael & Armando is a great team. For your 1st job with Plumbing Point, request this team to get good high-quality result. The work done was timely to not rush quality, and we didn't have to pay upfront. Armando came to the house and helped us out with our plumbing issue with a potential leak from the master bathroom upstairs. He was extremely patient and explained thoroughly on the potential causes of what we thought was a leak. He showed us with a video of what he was seeing and this was extremely helpful. After yet another disappointing experience with a highly ranked plumbing service, we contacted Plumbing Point. They diagnosed the issue of an aging sewage line, carefully explained the needed steps for replacement and provided a fair and reasonable quote. We contracted with Plumbing Point. On the first day a team of three polite, hard working laborers arrived and began to dig through the hard muck of adobe clay for three days to trench the line from the street to under our home. They insured their work remained safe as well as neat. The entire project to replace the sewage line for our 65 year old home took five days. Plumbing Point passed City inspectors. Our sewage line works well, and our front yard is immaculate. All remnants of the work were hauled away. It is impossible to tell that it was a construction zone. We have got multiple jobs done by them in the past year - water softener installation, gas line extension, installation of commodes etc., The quality of their work is top notch and the after work cleanup is great. Ridiculously expensive ! I was shocked to be charged a staggering $450 to run a camera from the cleanout to the mainline and inspect the drain line in the crawl space. I've never seen plumbing costs that outrageously high. I'd suggest opting for a more cost-effective local plumber with better warranty coverage. Additionally, they charged $225 to snake the drain line, which became clogged again within 30 minutes of their departure. When I asked them to revisit, they quoted another $225 to snake the same drain line they had already worked on. read more

Pretty great! I called them in the evening looking to get a small job done same-day. I had low hopes anyone could do this on such short notice, but to my surprise, they were able to get to my place in just 25 minutes! That's impressive service right there. The technician was super friendly and a great communicator, making the whole experience stress-free. I had a whooshing noise that wouldn't stop from the crawlspace in my home. I found Plumbing Point on Yelp and decided to give them a try since they seemed responsive and honest. Nathaniel and Armando diagnosed the bad leak in my crawlspace and over three days we got all the pipes in our crawlspace replaced. Nathaniel explained that the folks who installed my pipes didn't clean the flux off properly and so the copper pipes corroded after a decade. They offer a 5-year warranty on their work and they were professional, on time, responsive (e,g. Let me know asap when two of their workers couldn't show up) and cleaned up very well daily. I requested a quote on Yelp clearly indicating that I need a faucet and hot water tap system installed. I even included pictures so there would be no issue with knowing the scope of work. This guy schedules me out a few days and then on the day of he doesn't show up in the timeframe given. When I call him his excuse is that he lost my message. Then when he does actually show up he goes oh I can't install the faucet, you'll have to get someone else to do that. A true plumber can do this type of work and I was up front with all of the information so I was very disappointed. Nathaniel arrived when he said he would. He is one of the best plumbers I have ever met. We are now renters and the showers both backed up with sewage (yes, disgusting) last night. The landlord found Nathaniel and what a find he is. I cannot say enough about him. As seniors he saw we were wearing masks and he immediately offered to put a mask on and used booties thoughout his work so the floors were left clean.
