I reached out to Pure as a referral from my insurance agent. I had used a different plumber for many years for more simple work like clogged drains, but when they needed to do a more complicated job (still simple for a plumber) they screwed it up 4X so I decided to get a new plumber to fix a leak that had now developed in my kitchen sink. I reached out over yelp and they were very responsive to my request over the weekend. Good communication and timely responses (especially since it was the weekend when they are closed). They answered my questions and scheduled me for Monday. They came by and were friendly, professional and helpful. Really appreciate how they handled things. Sounds like I may have found a new plumber to use from now on. read more

Excellent experience from beginning to end. Made the call on a Saturday, and Nate came out on Monday and gave me an estimate to (1) install an automatic gas shut off valve and (2) make a small repair on our dishwasher air-gap hose. Nate was friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He walked me through the estimate and scheduled the service for later that week. Dylan came out and completed both jobs. Like Nate, he was friendly and courteous, and he completed the work within the expected time-frame. read more

Otis Henry came on time to change out the shower faucet valve from the backside by cutting through the sheetrock. Done in 1.5 hour. Cleaned up everything. Nathaniel double checked and walked me through what was done and gave be a sheetrock partner who can fix the opening. Very professional. read more

I noticed my water heater was leaking, so I called PPS and was able to easily schedule an appointment. While they were there, we talked about tankless water heaters and ended up going with one, especially with California/Santa Clara County trying to phase out standard tank water heaters. They ran a new gas line for the tankless unit, and since the unit was being moved outside, they even scheduled an electrician to come out and install an outlet. They made the whole process really easy and took care of everything from start to finish. Couldn't be happier with the work. Thanks PPS! read more

Called and scheduled an appointment to flush out my tankless water heater. Brandon texted ahead of his arrival in the scheduled two hour appointment window. He assessed the situation and explained clearly what he was going to do to perform the maintenance. He completed the process quickly and cleanly. He even showed me how to program the recirculating pump and fixed the programing error made by another company to improve the pump efficiency The charge was fair for the time spent and service performed. Can highly recommend. We were helped by Luis a couple days ago and Nathaniel for some other issue last year. They are knowledgeable, respectful (kept the house very clean) and efficient. We will happily hire them again. read more

Pure plumbing solutions is a breath of fresh air in an industry that is often times known for lack of communication and customer service (at least some of them). PPS impresses from the very first call! Professional office that excels at communication with quotes, texts, invoices etc. they even offer financing. Nate from PPS came out in a modern, professional vehicle and attire and swapped my failing water heater the same day I called. He went out of his way to explain some of the ins and outs of water heaters, did extra bracing and replacement of some corroded valves etc. they cleaned up and it was like they were never there. Definitely my new plumbing company for life. read more

This is a long overdue review but PPS is such a great company. I've been using them for 4 years now and they're always honest and transparent and do their best for me. They installed a water conditioner, unclogged numerous drains and helped with a sewer backup. They provide many pricing options so they don't try to nickel and dime you at everything. Mike, Nate, and Brandon are a great team! read more

We are so grateful for Pure Plumbing Solutions. We received a message while we were on vacation that we probably had a leak, and Pure Plumbing Solutions responded quickly to our request for help. Brandon checked the exterior of our home while we were away; he discovered that our water pressure was significantly above a safe level and turned off the water to our home from the street to prevent additional leakage/damage. We were so grateful for the quick intervention so we weren't anxious during our vacation. The morning we returned home, Brandon came and did a thorough inspection of all potential leak areas and he found the current leak as well as areas under several sinks that had some corrosion. Brandon did an exceptional job of taking pictures and clearly explaining possible courses of action; we also appreciated that he actually discouraged us from addressing a faucet that has leaked inconsistently because the service wasn't necessary at this time. Brandon helped flush our water heater and then installed a pressure expansion tank and a pressure reducing valve, and also updated our system with angle stop installations for a safer and more reliable system. Even the small detail of using shoe covers inside our home demonstrated the care and thoughtfulness Brandon puts into his work. We were so impressed with Brandon's professionalism and how quickly he was able to address all of our plumbing issues and we will definitely use the company again for any future needs. read more

We noticed a leak in one of our bathrooms that appeared to be coming from the wall to toilet shut-off valve. I sent several inquiries through Yelp and Pure responded in a timely manner and based on their stellar reviews I scheduled the appointment for the next day. Pure has several trucks and technicians, Austin showed up at the early end of the two-hour window. He is a great guy who quickly determined that the shut-off valve needed to be replaced, this involved turning off the main water line and bleeding the water lines the rest of the house correctly. In addition, Austin checked all the other toilets in the house to ensure there were no issues. Austin was super personable, knowledgeable and neat. All in all, a great experience, this is my new go-to plumbing solution. read more

Thank you Michael Brewer (owner) and crew for an outstanding service! They arrived on time and prior to arrival they text us and a picture of the technician, to let us know that they are on their way. Michael helped us to install cartridge to our bathroom faucet 3 weeks ago! Today, he and his crew removed an old water heater and replaced with a new water heater and added an expansion tank. Micheal Brewer is so nice, professional, honest & knowledgeable! He had a great crew working with him! They did such a great job with the installation and description of what they did and cleaned up after they are done! We joined as a Pure Comfort Club member and we are 100% satisfied! We are so happy that we found this company for our plumbing needs, giving us peace of mind! read more

Thank you so much Michael! I was so stressed out about the situation and you helped me big time! I hired a plumber who charges 400, but when he arrived he said I need to change to a different gas type and he needs to alter the pipe lines. I freaked out! And worse, he walked away! I frantically got another person. He wanted me just threw away the appliance and charges me 700 dollars for the labor. The new appliance is 1500, Total would have been 2200 if i had not been helped by your team! A person from pure plumbing came right on time, spent about 15 minutes and solved the problem! It only cost me 200 dollars! Thank you for running an honest business! read more

On Sunday afternoon one of the toilets seemed to have a blockage. It wasn't until I plunged it a dozen times that I discovered the plunging forced nasty water into the tub in the other bathroom. I knew this was a bigger problem. My regular plumber told me they don't do sewer line clean outs and referred me to Pure Plumbing. My call went to voice mail but Mike texted to say he'd call in a few minutes. Long story short, Mike sent Nate, who arrived less than 30 minutes after my call. He assessed the problem, explained the process and gave me an estimate before any work was done. After he cleared the blockage 40' down the line, he waited 10-15 minutes while the water ran and everything got tested, cleaning up and remounting the toilet. The bathroom looked better after he left than it did when he arrived. He then spent extra time answering my questions about what needs to be done to keep this from happening again. I hope you don't have this happen to you but if it does, you can't go wrong with these guys. read more

We had a partial blockage in a pipe under the house that caused the kitchen sink to fill up when the bathtub upstairs drained. Yuck is an understatement. My many attempts to snake the drain myself only bought temporary relief, so I decided to call in a professional. I made an appointment with PPS based on stellar reviews on Yelp. Nate and Carl arrived and assessed the situation. Based on a visual inspection of the layout under the house, Nate recommended replacing all or some of the old cast iron drain pipes. He also found a leak under the downstairs shower we had no idea was there. The cost was more than I wanted to spend, but Nate explained the pros and cons of various approaches to remediation, and we decided on a partial replacement of drain pipes in the problem area. Nate, Carl, and crew returned a few days later, and completed the work within the estimated time. When the work was done, Nate verified that the drain was flowing freely. He also used their camera to show me the condition of the main drain line, revealing tree roots that had intruded near the street which might cause future problems. When and if this happens, I will not hesitate to call PPS due to their great service on this call. read more

Great service and quality work! I needed a plumber to fix a small leak coming from the water line that goes to the ice maker in the freezer. Mike and Nathaniel arrived at my door. They took a look at the leak and told me how they planned to fix it, how much time it would take and an estimated cost. They did the repairs and updated some of the plumbing so that I will not have THAT problem again. When they were done, they explained what they had done. Both guys were attentive and knowledgeable. Their appearance is professional and they respected my home. I highly recommend this company. read more

We had to have a drain cleaned out and a disposal replaced. Of course this happened on a late afternoon on a Friday before a holiday weekend. I called the office number at 4:45pm and Mike, the owner, answered! Not only that, but they had availability the next morning!! Austin showed up on time, with booties, and lots of knowledge. He quickly diagnosed our problem and gave us a detailed quote. He actually gave us 3 quotes: bare minimum, better, and fix all the problems at once and be done. You see, much of the pipe work under the sink was done improperly. We were going to continue to have problems if this root cause wasn't addressed. We chose to do it right and be done. After 3 hours of meticulous work and educating us on how to maintain our property better (we don't know much), Austin left my home cleaner than I would have! We appreciate his friendly demeanor and all the tips and tricks for better home maintenance. Highly recommend! read more

My water main was leaking; it was a major job to replace it. Pure Plumbing had the best estimate by far and were quick to get started. They hooked up a temporary connection from the meter to the house even before work started the next morning so that I could have water. They also did some minor work for me on a few hose bibs, but did not charge any extra. I really appreciated that they did not "nickel and dime" me for that. That was great customer relations and it was really nice working with them. read more

I found Mike at Pure Plumbing Solutions on NextDoor, and SO glad I did. Called him one evening regarding some work I needed on my water heater as well as wanting it flushed to remove any sediments. He gave me a quote over the phone, and was able to come out the very next day. When he was running a few minutes late, Mike was great at communicating and letting me know exactly what time he would arrive. Both Mike and his worker arrived wearing masks. Both were very pleasant and did the job very quickly and efficiently. Within in an hour, my water heater was flushed out, and had new and improved piping. He realized the job was quicker than first thought and ended up charging me less than was first quoted. I appreciate his honesty, and the top QUALITY work. Mike and his team were super professional and responsive. I was rate shopping around for an installation of water softener and RO system and there were some plumbers that gave sky high quotes and some crazy pipe/parts replacement plans because the P trap of my kitchen sink area has very limited space. Mike came and checked out my house and gave me a very reasonably priced quote and a solution that made sense. I made an appointment right away without any long wait phone calls. And they finished the job in a little more than an hour. Very efficient and so far it looks perfect. Not only did the installation went well, they also cleaned up and took time to explain to me how the system works. Patiently answered a few of my questions as well. I would definitely recommend my friend who's in need of plumbing related services. read more

I had water intrusion in the downstairs bathroom and did not know the sources. Pure Plumbing Solutions is my new go-to plumbing company. They are professional and friendly, clearly and consistently communicate, think on their feet, are respectful of personal property and make sure to leave things in the same or better condition as they were upon arrival. You get what you pay for--their estimates are not the lowest or the highest, but very reasonable and they do amazing work. The Full Backstory I've had ongoing problems with a backup in my 60-year old house when running the dishwasher or washing machine and have been told by multiple plumbers over the years that roots were the problem and that the main line needed to be replaced. Pure Plumbing Solutions (PPS) offered a free quote while others had a "trip fee". They informed me before making the appointment of any charges that may apply with difficulty running the camera through the lines. On the day of the appointment, they arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule and immediately found a usable clean out. Their initial evaluation determined that a blockage appeared to be near the property line. Everything was very clearly explained and they even showed me the line and blockage as they ran the camera. An intermediate solution was offered--installing a "2-way clean out with pop off plug" that would allow any future blockage to end up outside instead of inside. I immediately received an itemized quote from Mike. PPS was the ONLY company to offer an alternative solution that would be a fraction of the cost and take care of the immediate issue, while allowing further investigation. After receiving other quotes for the same work, all higher than anticipated, I called Mike because the quotes I received were $10,000 apart and I wanted to understand more about the 2-way clean out. Mike was very patient and answered all of my questions in layman's terms, so I decided to move forward with PPS. The clean out was installed two days later and, while running the camera, it was determined that the blockage was on the city side of the property line. In order for the city to clear the blockage, there needed to be a clean out at the property line. Again, Mike provided an immediate quote that included the on-property clean out, the property line clean out and main line replacement. I signed and they began work two days later. While there were a couple snags during the process, the team worked tirelessly--even in the wind and rain--to determine the best options to move forward and always communicated with me. By the time they were done, my property was back to normal and my plumbing was good as new! read more
