10 star if I could. Furnace went out weeks ago and I put out a bid request on Yelp. The first company I hired (Global HVAC) charged me $250 for a fix that failed the very next day. I called and the company said I should replace the motherboard for another $1,000. Instead, I called Ozone and Andrew came out on short notice. He found a rusted connector within minutes and replaced the piece AT NO COST!!! Shocking! I installed Google Nest Thermostat Gen 4 last weekend. Due to my personal mistake that I forgot to turn off the power when installing the device, I got "rh no power" error when setting up the new device. I tried to fix it but I don't have professional knowledge or equipment. Found the Ozone Service on Yelp and the owner offered FREE inspection. I cannot believe my eyes since all the other merchant I've quote all ask for an inspection fee of $69 or more. The technician Alexander dropped by my house by the appointment time, and did a quick check of the heater within 10min. To my greater surprise, they fixed my broken fuse for FREE. If I could give more stars, it would be 10 for Ozone Services. We had the pleasure of working with them on installing a new Heat Pump System in our home. I love it! Our 32 yr old original gas furnace & ancient AC unit finally met the Grim Reaper. I was not feeling comfortable or cool in the evening. The house was still 80*. I started a Yelp Project & chose Ozone Services to evaluate & was hopeful we could still fix, but already knew it was time to invest in a new system. Arg..I just changed the Mother Board last Thanksgiving. I was able to have an appointment on a Saturday. Alex was our technician, tested our outdoor unit before opening our furnace in the garage...our refrigerant/coolant was leaking out from the coils & froze a section producing condensation. I knew right away that Alex was an experienced technician, very knowledgeable, & professional. He gave his honest opinion. We need a new unit. We were able to get an appt with Konstantin, Project Manager the next day. My AC was leaking water from the attic, and I had to find out the cause of the leak fast to avoid further damage. The first company I contacted only told me that the drain pan is broken, and it was until OZONE's Alex came that I found out I have severe ice buildup in my coil. The drain pan was slightly broken, but the big problem is low refrigerant. That really gave me a good impression with OZONE. I decided to dig a deeper into them. As it turned out, the folks who started OZONE (Konstantin and Alex) were very seasoned HVAC professionals. Two years ago when I was trouble shooting my not-cool-enough AC, I had contacted Konstantin and he was super helpful to find the cause. They were with a big HVAC company at that time and repairing is too small a job for them (I believe Konstantin was also only responsible for new system sales?) Anyway, in the hindsight, they were exactly right. There are leaks in my coil and I should have replaced the coil. Fast forward, I hired OZONE after I found out our history. The process is very smooth. Alex came out on July 4th to run a leak test to find out it is indeed coil leak (plus some leak on the outdoor unit's connection joints). And next week on the heat of Friday Alex spent a whole morning helping to dismount the old coil, replaced with a new one, vacuumed system and tested one more time to make sure everything is working. He showed me all the parts he took out, and let me know all the changes he put in very clearly. In all, I highly recommend OZONE to anyone with HVAC needs. We had a 1970s dated furnace and inadequate ducting system. I started working with Konstantin on laying out my requirements and he help me understand my options, pricing and was very transparent on what can and cannot be done (no overselling and took time to explain things technically). I had talked to 5 more companies and very few took time to explain the options. Even his price were amongst the best in the lot. Once we decided on the options we got to work with Alex (their lead installer) and he is very knowledgable and is very hands on guy.
