Max, the owner, came himself, despite this being a very small job, and very late in the day -- I think this demonstrates a very strong commitment to his customers. He was very courteous, punctual and made quick work of disconnecting my condenser. I was happy to hire Promax again a few weeks later to come back and reconnect the condenser. This time it was a different tech (Kostas), but he was also very friendly and professional. He reconnected the condenser and it's been working perfectly since. Great experience with Promax regarding our appointment and our bathroom vent issue. Very professional and reasonable. Would highly recommend. Another electrical company had replaced our broken vent fan in our bathroom and ever since then there's been water dripping from it after showering. This other company came to inspect and they said we needed to check with a duct company. So Promax to the rescue! First of all Anna the person who schedules the appointment for us was amazing. Friendly, professional, helpful, there when you need her. They were available for a Saturday appointment which is amazing. Max came and was professional and went above and beyond to try to diagnose the issue, going into our attic and investigating. He put in his recommendations which we agreed with him and told us if it ends up not being the duct or sealing issue that it might be the power of the fan which we agree. He told us the power was one level and should the issue return we should get a more powerful fan, we believe the electrical company had installed a lower powered fan than our previous and agree with his assessment. Our 30 year old gas water heater started leaking and we wanted to replace it with a new heat pump water heater. Used Yelp to send out messages to local businesses and received multiple quotes. Promax was one of the responders. They came to our home, inspected the location, looked at the electrical panel and said that our current panel is good enough. Their quote included a CR recommended heat pump water heater and their total price was much less than others, even including the permit cost. We had a lot of questions and Promax agents were patient in answering all of them. Their responses were fast but there was no pressure to make a quick decision. After a few days we decided to go with them. Once we signed the contract, Promax applied for a building permit (must in CA for water heaters even if replaced in same location) and setup an installation date within a week. On the day of installation, the installers, Max and Albert were on site around 8:30 am and finished the installation around 3 pm. They took away the old water heater, cleaned the area, and tested the water heater. Once I confirmed that we are getting hot water, they left. Within a few minutes I received the payment confirmation and I could start my rebate process. Final inspection (by city) was completed within 5 days and the inspector had no complaints. To summarize, Promax is an excellent company, very customer focussed with experienced installers. They are patient and professional, and it was a pleasure working with them.
