Back in March (2026), my wife started to complain of getting bitten by an as yet unidentified insect. (We were also hearing scuffling noises coming from various walls and ceilings beginning in February). She called the county vector control office and a trap was set up, but results were inclusive. Then I started waking up with small, itchy welts on my torso and legs. These welts would itch even more at night time. Using an AI chat service, my wife successfully identified the problem as rat mites, small arachnids imperceptible to the eye. Our landlord, thankfully, took our complaints seriously enough to look Into something beyond calling his "rat guy" and found Eagle Rodent. I'm glad he did because within a week Sebastian and his crew arrived and did a thorough inspection and cleaning of our basement and attic. All entry points for rats and field mice (identified by Santiago via their droppings) were excluded from our residence (a 1910s four-square style home). It takes three to four weeks for a serious rat mite infestation to die off and foggers seemed to bring us the rest of the way there. As of this writing, we have yet to hear any rodent activity. A few traps were left behind after a follow-up visit in which several rat carcasses were found in the first round of traps. We are very pleased with the work that Eagle Rodent provided and a five star review is well deserved. read more

Eagle Rodent Proofing - This abandoned chimney in our attic and basement was a rat highway! - Pest Control Near Me - San Carlos, California

We were really impressed with the service we received from the team. Santiago, the representative, was very communicative throughout the entire process. He was very quick to get me an estimate, and get me scheduled as soon as possible. We required a pretty extensive clean up. Sebastian came out to do the work, during an unfortunate heat spell. He did a great and thorough job, and showed us the results. I'm very happy with how quick and efficient the whole process was. read more

I found a rat nest in my pool house and discovered a more extensive problem in the crawl space and attic. The first company I called, not Eagle, excelled in fear mongering and completely lied about the extensiveness of the rodent problem. I wanted to get another quote so I called Eagle. The operator on the phone was incredibly helpful and polite. She worked to ensure that an inspection could happen before the end of the week. Santiago came out, explained what was going on, what his company could and could not do. He also verified that the other company had straight out lied. (This was verified by a third company as well.) Santiago's team showed up a week later with 4 guys, they worked all day to seal any entries in both the attic and crawl space. They cleaned, disinfected and applied pheromone repellant. They then set traps with peanut butter. The crew lead by Sebastion was efficient, polite and helpful. They did a great job. I would highly recommend them and a friend has already used them as well. Eagle was not the most expensive nor the cheapest but provided a quality product and worth every penny. read more

We had a very large concrete shed in the backyard that got infested with rodents sometime over the last month. Pretty disgusting. Called up Eagle and Santiago came out the next day to inspect and give me a quote which I accepted as the pricing was reasonable I accepted and they were able to start the work the following day. The shed was left spotless! All the entry points were sealed with mesh and cement I'm very happy with the work they did. read more

Heard rat activity in my attic and found these guys who do not only clean up but more importantly prevention. Initial inspection was free and quick - they explained how the whole process would go, from cleanup in the house to rat proofing the exterior, as well as the one year warranty that comes with the service. They took a quick look, quoted a fair market price and scheduled an appointment for a week out. The staff came on time and were quick, efficient and thorough. They took photos of all possible entry points that they sealed up with either wire mesh and/or cement. They also left a few traps in the attic to capture any rats that may have been sealed inside. They did minimal clean up for us since our problem was relatively mild, but they mentioned they would usually vacuum, sanitize, and replace insulation in severe cases. Two weeks later they follow up to check in - we were still hearing noises so they did another house visit. They were able to find another place that hadn't been properly sealed. Since then we thankfully haven't heard anything else, and it's been a few months since the service was completed. I would recommend this place to anyone who inevitably will experience rats on their property! read more

Very pleased with Santiago and his team who were very efficient in taking care of our rodent issues. Santiago is very clear and precise in describing the scope of work the job entails. We had no issues dealing with him. He had 3 workers who did a fantastic job and they were all hard working. Andre was one of them. He did the major clean up in the attic and crawl space. We definitely would recommend the team. read more

If you are looking for the best rodent control provider, you've just found it. Look no further. Don't waste your time getting other bids. Their customer service is amazing. They provide excellent, competent, patient service with integrity. Every employee I met was friendly and very accommodating. They were meticulous in their clean up. Whereas I don't know what other rodent companies might charge, I believe Eagle is very competitive. Regardless of price, I'll go with Eagle every time just because of the kind of service they provide, top quality plus outstanding value. My rodents are gone, and my contaminated insulation replaced. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire process. Zac, who supervised my job, could not have been more accommodating and easy to work with. read more

David and his team did a great job at proofing my house including the crawl space and attic for rodents. The house is pretty old with a lot of gaps so it was good to seal up those. They arrived around 10am and got the work done by 5pm. Overall we are pleased and will recommend them for rodent proofing work. read more

Great job! Santiago won the bid with an incredibly thorough inspection and a slightly less price than a competitor. The workers who did the job were very nice and worked hard. Took them most of a day to seal up everything from the roof, attic, basement, outside, everywhere. As they said, we saw evidence of rats for about 2-3 weeks after their visit. Haven't seen any since! I highly recommend Eagle for their work and their people! read more

I definitely recommend Eagle's service! Our house had a rodent issue, and David explained everything in detail during the first inspection. He also set up the appointment super quickly! David, Sebastian, Andres, Kenneth, and Jorge worked diligently and never took a break. They found all the entry points and holes we couldn't even see! I watched them every step of the way and was so impressed by their hard work, dedication, and attitude. They sealed every hole and disinfected the inside of the house. I hope the rats never come back! I'm looking forward to all the follow-ups. I definitely recommend Eagle Rodent Proofing!" read more

David Sebastian and Jorge did an excellent job. They sealed all the entry points with cement and screen. They were very thorough and cleaned up the area. They deodorized and sanitized the attic and crawl space. They sealed up a large hole leading to space under the house. They sealed all entry pipe areas with cement. I would highly recommend them. They were also friendly and responsive. read more

Had Santiago come out for a rodent issue -- heard scratching in the soffit vent for months but never actually saw anything, which made the whole thing feel slightly surreal. There were some communication hiccups with his team along the way, partly due to language barriers, but Santiago was genuinely patient and made the effort to get on the same page. That goes a long way. His team sealed up entry points throughout the house and set traps. A follow-up visit is scheduled. Fingers crossed this is the last I hear from my uninvited soffit vent guest. Price is on the higher end, but he offered a 20% discount. Given the scope of work involving the roof, I think it's reasonable. Would recommend if you're dealing with roof or attic rodent issues and want someone who actually shows up and tries. read more

If you have a difficult rat problem I highly recommend Eagle Rodent Proofing. Sebastian, Miguel and Andre started with a thorough inspection of our home from basement to rooftop. Time was spent carefully sealing the many active and even potential entry points. A complete vacuum was done followed by a disinfecting deep clean of the entire area. I was amazed at how much effort was put in to the cleaning. Our rat problem was in the basement and garage. We have a full basement so the space that required attention was considerable. They were very careful working around our belongings. The area was left completely fresh and clean. We had tried all sorts of methods and traps to get rid of the rats. Nothing was working and the constant cleaning was exhausting. Save your energy and call Eagle Rodent Proofing for a real solution. They are true professionals and a pleasure to work with. read more

Had Sebastian and his crew here working with David today and they did an awesome job throughout the house. They resealed every vent in the attic and crawlspace - and ours were especially challanging becasue of an older home where the vents had been penetrated by contractors over the years. They went into the the attaic - cleaned and sanitized all areas where rodents had been, and the same for the even more challanging crawl space. Every possible entry point, even some I was not aware of, was discovered and sealed. As part of their service, they set traps and return in 3 weeks to clean the traps and recheck all entry points. A very thorough service. read more

Santi and his team did a very thorough job inspecting my property, which in my opinion is the most important part of the job. After that, they properly sealed and proofed any openings. Great service. A+++ read more

I highly recommend Eagle Rodent Proofing to anyone in the Bay Area dealing with unwanted guests. Our experience started with Sean and Santiago, who performed an inspection. While the initial quote seemed high, their confidence and clear plan to eliminate the problem convinced us they were the right choice. A few days later, Sebastian and a team of five arrived to get to work. They spent 4-5 hours meticulously going over the house, specifically the exterior, patching every visible hole with durable, long-term materials. They didn't just "plug holes"; they also did a fantastic job cleaning and sanitizing all the droppings and debris left behind. They set traps and walked us through the follow-up inspection process. What really sealed the deal for me was their 1.5-year warranty--it gave me the peace of mind that this was money well spent. They say they're #1, and after seeing their work ethic, I believe it! read more

We hired them for a VERY complicated job where rodents had been in the attic and crawl space for years. They did exactly what they promised, and more. Santiago, Alex, and Sebastian all spoke English well, and were more than accommodating as the job needs evolved to include more than envisioned. I'd recommend them highly. A bit of unnecessary pressure tactics from the sales guy, but probably needed for this kind of contract. Specifically "no openings for months, except a cancellation just occurred this week" if you can sign NOW ! Maybe true, but probably just a tactic. read more

Santiago was are rep and he was very knowledgeable and communicated with our organization every step of the way.

The team is amazing. They completed the entire job in 1day and had a very professional approach. Sean and Sebastian, the manager and lead were very knowleadgeable on the task and the crew was able to seal all openings, vacuum all the droppings and sanitize. Work was exceptional and highly recommended. read more

Did the work that needed to be done. Also let me know that my attic insulation should be changed due to all the pee and rodent feces. They had sealed the attic, outside vents, spaces between the eaves and other spaces where rodents could possibly enter. After the work was done, David and Andres walked me through what was done and explained there will be a follow up scheduled in two weeks and after that I need to call for further follow ups. Very efficient work done by this team. Highly recommend. read more

David and his team were great. They came and got everything done in one day. They even scheduled follow up to come check traps. They provided pictures of all the work they did around the house. read more

I contacted Eagle Rodent Proofing after actually seeing a rat try to pull an apple from our tree under our house. Zach came out for the initial consultation and after seeing and pointing out signs of an early infestation, went over how their "program" works. We agreed to the price and terms and David and his crew came a couple of days later. They were all great! Very friendly, polite, and respectful of our home. After they were done, David gave us a walk-around and showed us all of the work they did including patching up a massive crack in our brickwork that showed signs of a rodent nest. A follow-up was scheduled for 2 weeks after that initial visit but we actually requested one after 1 week due to a mistake that was our own and Ellie was nice enough to schedule that for us. Andre came out and did what we requested without hassle. While the price might seem high compared to other companies, note that their service is comprehensive. They will continue to service your home until the infestation is gone including closing entry points, cleaning and disinfecting, and setting and removing traps. Their work also includes a 1-year warranty. We are extremely happy with the service Eagle Rodent Proofing provides and will continue to use them in the future. I know from talking to neighbors other companies will come out and set traps for you, but you are responsible for removing and replacing them. Any thing else like sealing access points, cleaning, and setting new traps are all a la carte costs. Save yourself the hassle and just contact Eagle Rodent Proofing and they will do it all for you. read more

The guys were very thorough. Went through from roof to craw space and sealed up all the holes. Very nice and punctual

We had a rodent infestation in our crawlspace. We took multiple estimates; most folks were recommending we replace our HVAC ducts as they were apparently broken. Further inspection revealed that they were not, and were in fact galvanized steel which is extremely sturdy. Replacing them would likely make them weaker, as aluminum is not as strong. Had a great experience with Sean from Eagle. He was very straightforward and didn't try to push a bunch of extra stuff on us. He communicated readily and answered questions. One thing I appreciated was that Sean recommended dealing with the rodents first, and only once they are gone, consider any additional work (replacing ducts, adding vapor barriers) as trapped rats will try to chew through anything to try and escape. read more

Quick response and excellent communication throughout. They did a clean and effective job sealing all entry points. I felt confident in their knowledge and attention to detail. Would definitely use them again and recommend to others! read more

It's been great so far! Zack had availability the same day to come out which was perfect! And he's been very responsive, transparent, and able to easily coordinate, despite a somewhat tricky situation where I'm doing this on behalf of my elderly mom who does not live with me and has full time caregiving. We paid $2/square foot since we don't have an attic (vs. their usual $2.50/square foot), and they spent a full day sealing up rodent entry points into the house with concrete and wire mesh - he assured me that this is stronger than what other companies use-, as well as cleaning/sanitization, and setting traps. He even sealed up some holes that were caused by bees. Now we alert him every time one is caught, and his team comes over to remove and re-inspect and set traps again. This process continues until the problem is solved. Warranty is for 6 months, but Zack assured me that they would continue to work with us if the problem persisted longer than that. (Although he said most rodent issues are solved within 2 weeks to 2 months.) read more

Although we were most disturbed when we saw a rat entering our attic on a late summer evening, our call to Eagle Rodent Proofing put us at ease. Lance arrived on the same day as we contacted Eagle Rodent Proofing and assessed the situation and patiently answered all of our questions. David, the foreman, and his crew took care of removing insulation and replacing it. We highly recommend Eagle Rodent Proofing. read more

We recently engaged Eagle Rodent Proofing to deal with a major rat infestation of our home in Menlo Park. After a thorough investigation of the problem, they very promptly prepared a description of the work needed and provided a reasonable estimate. Work was scheduled in a couple of days, and the team arrived on time. While part of the team worked on vacuuming out all the infested insulation in the attic, others worked diligently all around the house sealing off every possible entry point, entering crawl spaces, climbing the roof, and even screening the top of the chimney. All in all they were very thorough and professional. They will now follow up with check-ins every 2 weeks until we are absolutely certain no rats remain in the house. read more

We've been struggling to get our house sealed properly to prevent rats finding their way into our attic space. After many attempts we decided to hire Eagle Rodent Proofing. On October 10the we had our home sealed and had the crew remove the old insulation in the attic. It was a huge job that I could have never done in a month, let alone in one day. David and the entire crew were great. They arrived on time, told me what to expect, and they got the job done. They were very careful to keep the dust to a minimum and to tread lightly in our home. The crew worked all day and were polite, respectful of our home, and cleaned up after the job was done. At the end of the work day they set up traps in the attic, we'll see what happens. Hopefully this project did the trick. Money well spent. read more

ERP quickly and professionally completed protecting my home from further rodent invasions. They found about a dozen openings and sealed them with either wire mesh or concrete. They also vacuumed out the droppings and sanitized the bad areas. David and the 3 Andres were polite, careful, and thorough. They explained all the steps and did a walk-through afterward. The 1-year warranty is nice too. read more

They were quick to respond for a free home inspection and gave a quote the same day. The price was fair and the rodent sounds from the attic were resolved the same day. We're about halfway through our rat removal process. Zack and the crew spent a day inspecting, sealing, removing insulation and cleaning the crawlspace under the house and the attic. They set out the peanut butter traps and we are now waiting. Gradually the scurrying and chewing heard at night diminished. Two inspections in two weeks found evidence of a couple of potential entry points that were sealed. Waiting another week or so and we'll schedule installation of brand new clean insulation in the attic. Thankfully it hasn't been too hot because without insulation the house is noticeably warmer. Zack is always available to answer questions. We will check in and update when the job is completed. read more

Zach was amazing at explaining everything about the process no matter how many times I asked him. Communication was returned the next business day. The process was thorough and efficient and I never felt like they rushed through the job. They were kind to my inquisitive children and I never felt ridiculed or shamed for past mistakes that I missed when trying to deal with this on my own. it wasn't cheap but well worth the price and I felt reassured and saw traction on my pest extermination that I wasn't getting trying to do it on my own. read more

Eagle Rodent Proofing did a thorough job eliminating rats from my home. I was a bit desperate with my initial call as two rats were in my living room overnight. Veronica was kind enough to fit me in quickly and Zach arrived the next day for an assessment. From there, David and the 3 Andres arrived within a few days to tackle the problem. The four of them were efficient and polite while working. My husband and I work from home and they worked quickly and quietly while touching base with us throughout the job with updates. Two of the Andres's returned to assess the traps and sealed entry points. Jackpot. Two rats were in the traps. Andres returned within another two weeks and the house was clear. Scheduling the follow-ups with Veronica was easy and they always arrived within their scheduled window. I honestly hope I never have this rodent problem again! But, would definitely call Eagle Rodent Proofing if I'm dealing with this headache again. read more
