We interviewed several companies to help us with our rat problem. One stood out, Attics Express. We live in a 3-bedroom manufactured home which means, it's a house but not on a solid base. I cannot say enough good about Attics Express. They stood out from the other companies with their professionalism. The first morning they were to meet with us, I had somehow forgotten or? I don't recall what I had botched but it was my fault we were not prepared or able to meet with them. They were as polite as could be and were willing to come the next day, which they did. We got an estimate that was very reasonable as well as information on exactly what they would and why. They were also prepared to help us within a few days. The other companies we met were not as thorough or detailed in their plan to rid us of rodents. We chose Attics Express. Everything needed was done well. They took pictures of everything, before and after. They found three rat nests when we thought we had only one. They spent a lot of time under our house and put up wires in exactly where they needed to go to prevent future invasions. Full explanations were given on why each part of their efforts was needed and the results we could expect. They did the work and it could not have been better. Within a few days, we saw 2 rats visiting for birdseed and the representative returned immediately, checking everything. All was in place as it should be and he explained that rats may visit but will not stay. Rats that cannot build a home will usually not return. He was right, there was no way any rat can get back under our house to build a nest. It's been at least 6 months since the job was done. No rat visitors, no rat residents. I reached out to multiple vendors on yelp to assist with getting the vapor barrier in my crawl space replaced and he responded within minutes and was able to come over same day to do a free inspection of the crawl space, including pictures, to show what the crawl space actually looked like. Additionally, he was able to assist with replacing my dryer vent and fireproofing my water heater vent into the attic. Lastly, he even inspected my attic and showed pictures of rodent damage and improper installation of the insulation.
