we have always had a great experience with Citra and our tech Michael was thorough and explained all we need to know! Very pleased with our continued service! read more

We've been with Citra Pest Control for about 6 years now. We switched to them after having a pretty bad experience with another well-known pest control company, and I'm so glad we did. I really appreciate how good they are about communication. They send a text reminder a couple of weeks before our service and then call about 30 minutes before they arrive. Everyone who has come out has always been friendly and asks if we've noticed anything or have any concerns before they get started. Before Citra, we had a terrible ant problem. They were literally everywhere -- bathrooms, closets, pantry, kitchen, you name it. It felt like no matter what we did, they kept coming back. Citra comes out every two months and sprays around the house, and we honestly haven't had an ant problem since. Their pricing has also always felt very reasonable and has stayed consistent over the years, especially for how reliable the service has been. Overall, we've had a great experience with Citra and would definitely recommend them. After 6 years, we're still very happy with their service! read more

We've had a bi-monthly service with Citra now for over a year and I've been incredibly happy with the results. we had a annoying ant, cockroach and rodent ( yes they do rodents ) problem, they found both the ant and roach nests right away and that issue was resolved after the first treatment. The rodents took a little longer, but that is now been resolved as well And what is great about the Citra's by monthly Service is if a flareup occurs outside of their normal schedule they will have somebody out to your home usually that same day to treat it. We went with Citra to begin with because their family owned and eco-friendly and competitively priced. We haven't had any issues with reactions either with ourselves or our animals including our Bird. But more importantly because of the expertise of the team members they sent out to do the services, they're all excellent, but I want give a shout out to Michael who really helped us understand why it would behoove us to allow an inside treatment which we had not done before. We had a flareup of ants inside the house, but couldn't find it where they were coming from. Michael was also very patient with us while we prep the house to leave for a couple hours. Upon a return, there was no odor and no allergic reactions to anything and we're looking forward to our Ant free house. Since I've been with Citra for over a year with great results, I highly recommend them to anyone looking to cure their insect or rodent issues. read more

We finally had to resort to a pest control company, our use of Terro ant bait was just not doing anything, the problem was actually getting worse. We called Citra and they went over their products, how the service works and when they could get out to our house. Thankfully they were able to come out within a day, we were so pleased to have Michael Wilson as our technician, he was AMAZING! The price is excellent and the discount for new customers is welcomed! Now we just have to wait to see if the treatment works.... Very pleased with their service so far. read more

I cancelled my service with this pest control company because I was disappointed with the quality of service and customer support. They were sending different workers, and during one visit, the technician spent the entire appointment on the phone while working--holding the phone in one hand and the equipment in the other. It did not give me confidence that the job was receiving the attention it deserved. I politely shared my concerns with the office, but the representative was dismissive and rude. She told me that "my guy is the best" and that he was simply getting instructions from someone else on the phone. Regardless of the explanation, I expected a more professional response and more respect as a customer. I ultimately cancelled the service. There are plenty of good pest control companies in the Bay Area, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I also recommend looking at the 1- and 2-star reviews before making a decision. read more

Called citra for a quote and Tanya was able to help answer a lot of questions regarding services and recommendations. She was wonderful and very knowledgeable! Real down to earth company and staff. Highly recommend them! read more

Called Citra to treat ants. Within a few minutes, we got an appointment for that very afternoon. Very professional and efficient process. On arrival, our tech Michael was personable and understanding regarding our ant problem. Within minutes, he was at it, very efficiently completing both indoor and outdoor treatment of our home. Next time we have pest issues, we'll definitely consider Citra again. read more

Jamie is amazing as always! He always ensures that the service is done to my expectations - also goes above and beyond on comms around ETA and ETD. Thank you! read more

I want to give a big shout-out to Jorge (George) at Citra Pest Control for an outstanding job! I had three paper wasp nests high up on the second story of my home, and he handled them quickly, safely, and professionally. Jorge used a backpack sprayer to treat the nests from the ground, then removed them with an extension pole. It was impressive to watch, and he made what looked like a difficult job seem easy. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure everything was taken care of. If you need pest control and Jorge is your technician, you can feel confident you're in excellent hands. Thanks again, Jorge, for the fantastic service! read more

I would like to give a huge shout out to Andrew V. He showed up and addressed our pest control needs. He explained everything to us, very detailed, professional and personable. I will ONLY be using Citra and Andrew from here on out. I highly recommend their services. read more

We've used Citra service for a year, in and around our mobile home, and it has worked great. We had some ants try to come inside between service visits and Citra quickly made an extra visit to help us with that. All the people that have performed the service in and around the home have been wonderful and gracious, very nice people. The reception on the phone has also been great. We are very happy with Citra's service and people. read more

The good reviews led me to contacting Citra Pest after my house was dealing with ants and terro wasn't cutting it anymore. My friend used a competitor but we've used them for a one off before and their service wasn't up to par. With citra, these guys were top notch with communication. I was dealing with real people. They had more than reasonable prices. We've settled on reoccurring service and every time any service has been done, everyone's been impressive. We're throughly satisfied with their work and no more ants! read more

Thank you, Michael, for the excellent service and for documenting the details clearly to help me understand the work performed.

5 stars- Highly Recommended We used Citra Pest Control to deal with a rat problem in our attic. I had already tried traps and bait myself, but nothing was working, so I gave Citra a call. Abraham came out and was great--very knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. We set some additional traps, but more importantly, he figured out the real issue and recommended sealing the vents near our crawlspace to keep the rats from coming back. They were responsive, reasonably priced, and effective. Overall, a really good experience. I'd definitely recommend Citra Pest Control! read more

Been with Citra a couple of years now. Always on time and responds pretty fast with appointments.

Andrew was the one who came to my house and sprayed my kitchen and bathroom since that was my issue with the German Roaches. He explained everything that he was going to do and what to do afterwards to help with my issue that I have been having. He was also very polite and non judgemental. After the last visit, I have no more issues with roaches. read more

Michael helped us today with our persistent ant issues and noticed a nest near our lemon tree in the backyard and sprayed there extra well. I'm so appreciative of his help. Citra is a great company and I highly recommend them, especially if you have pets and children and are worried about toxic chemicals. They only use environmentally friendly products. read more

Gabriel, a very pleasant technician, came to our place on time to start the service. He explained things in details before the service, and would pleasantly stopped everything to answer any questions that I came up along the way. I am really happy with his service! The following is a suggestion to Mike. As explained in my request to you, my problem is spider invasion; the situation is especially bad for the 2 bed rooms on the second floor right above the roof facing the street. It's during the service that I learned from Gabriel that your technicians would not spray the outside window frames on the second floor, but they could wipe the inside window frames with paper towel wetted with the spray material; he did that, and informed me to stay away with the house for at least 2 hours after that treatment. Suggestion: It would be great if you can offer to do the spraying of the outside window frames on the second floor, because some of your customers with small children and pets maybe sensitive to the chemical wiping inside the house. Thank you for your consideration of this matter. read more

Citra Pest Control's technician George is Always so meticulous and thorough... I really appreciate how he will ask me each time he services the yard if there's any concerns he should be aware of... Today for example he followed up on issues found with ants and wanted to know how that went. He checked on it and assured me that everything is remaining under control. He is definitely a very sweet young man, and I appreciate his professionalism and dedication to his company!!! read more

They provide notice on when they will be arriving for your service and they arrive during g the designated time they committed to.

After battling with many ants outside, in my bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom and putting out one trap after another I was exasperated. I finally called this pest company recommended on YELP. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. The man educated me on ants. I left my house with my dog for three hours while he worked inside and outside the house. It's been over three weeks and I have not seen one Ant since. Five stars to this business. I am on a bi-monthly contract. They are reasonable and worth every penny read more

They have always been reliable and thorough. Joseph gave extra special service today in dealing with ant invasion. Very Thorough!

Citra Pest completely solved our cockroach issue. Great customer service and responsive communication. They always let you know when they arrive to complete the service and give an update when it's done. I was particularly impressed with Michael who can back to our property again later the same day to tackle an ant issue he noticed. read more

I can't say enough great things about Citra. I subscribed to their bimonthly service plan, and it's one of the best decisions that I've made since moving into my current home. I originally contacted Citra after the city of San Jose stopped spraying, which resulted in a huge uptick in pests (primarily spiders and roaches) in my garage that were starting to find their way into my house. OFFICE STAFF When I first called Citra, I spoke with Tonya (sp?) who is fantastic and one of the main reasons I decided to go with Citra. Tonya is friendly, knowledgeable, and patiently answered all of my questions without any hard sell. PRICING I've been a Citra customer for a few years now, so I don't know if this is still accurate, but at the time that I enrolled, Citra's pricing was competitive with other services. It's 100% worth it to have a pest-free home. SERVICE The last few visits, I've had a tech named Michael who does a great job! During my bimonthly service, we discuss if I'm seeing any new pests so he can adjust what he applies based on the types of pests. Then he inspects for signs of pest activity, knocks down cobwebs and wasp & yellow jacket nests, replaces traps, and sprays inside my garage and around the exterior of my house. I appreciate how thorough he is. GUARANTEE One of the best things about the bimonthly plan is that, if needed, Citra will re-treat areas and replace traps in-between the bimonthly appointments. I've had lizards and a snake(!) get caught in the traps, so I was super relieved that Citra sent over a tech to take care of them. PET-FRIENDLY OPTIONS Another really great thing about Citra is they offer earth-friendly, pet-safe options. I have two dogs, so I don't want to expose them to toxic sprays. SCHEDULING Lastly, Citra is great about helping me reschedule appointments when needed. I appreciate that they allow that flexibility and staff adequately, so I don't have to wait for weeks when I need to reschedule or request that they send over a tech (i.e. to change traps or re-treat.) Highly recommend! read more

They treated the issues i expressed. No problems since. The tech was knowledgeable and friendly.

We have been using Citra for about 5 years now and cannot recommend them enough. Every employee we have worked with has been great, but Michael especially. He is always so thorough and knowledgeable. Citra has made a huge difference in the amount of pests we've dealt with around our house and yard and the fact that they will come back free of charge between appointments if you notice anything, is amazing. Definitely recommend for any and all pest services you are searching for! :) read more

Michael did a great job for us today! Very happy with this company - they always do a great job!

We've been attacked by ants and none of the home remedies/sprays/traps were working. We finally called Citra based on their great reviews. From the quote with Stacy to scheduling the first treatment to the first treatment, they did not disappoint! Alexander, our technician, texted with an ETA so I could corral my animals. He was professional and asked questions. He texted me regularly during treatment to give me the status and findings, and made sure the house was locked up when he left. Highly recommend based on Citra's professional and prompt service! read more

Today we were visited by Michael, with CITRA Pest Control. We have had Citra for about 2 1/2 years, with no problems. This morning, although it was raining, Michael called to let me know that he would be at my house in about 30 minutes. When he knocked on the door, I said ," It's raining, how can you spray in the rain ?". He told me that the chemicals that they use are water based and activated by water so that they actually do better when it's raining. Like l said previously, we have had CITRA for about 2 1/2 years, the first yr they came out and sprayed inside once, and outside monthly. After a year, they now come out every other month, which makes it affordabl, plus, we don't have any ants in the house. read more

Kevin Paredes did an excellent job with our pest control service. He was incredibly kind, professional, and patient. When he arrived, our house wasn't quite ready for him to spray inside, but instead of rushing or getting frustrated, he kindly waited for us to finish preparing. That level of patience and understanding really meant a lot. Kevin took his time, explained everything clearly, and made sure the job was done properly. It's rare to find someone who is both so professional and genuinely considerate. We truly appreciate his great service and would highly recommend Kevin to anyone looking for reliable pest control. Had my first monthly, Michael Wilson was the technician. He did a great job walking through what needed to be done and addressed my concerns. It was simple and efficient! Thank you, Michael! read more

The only downside, for me specifically, is their scheduling. They contact you out of the blue and tell you your technician is scheduled for the next day. This is very inconvenient and I wish their system would allow for consistent scheduling ex. every two months on the 5th. Their current system results in me having to reschedule every time they contact me. Service is typically great, I just wish their scheduling allowed the customer to choose what is a good day and time for them. read more

Jason did an excellent job. Listened to my concerns and followed through with areas I needed done. My hopes are I can have him as my regular technician. Citra is very lucky to have this young man . Thanks Jason for a job well done! If I could give more than 5 starts I would. read more
