Just had inspection with Jason, not just because we saved money ($8000), unlike a service and inspection we had from a different company, perhaps different methodology, Jason went on the roof and perimeter and interior of our small family business, he was able to advise that at this time he did not believe we required treatment as the other company had pressed...full tenting and so fourth. We have had our father's home treated and all is good... Jason could have said a whole host of distressing advice and could have lied, we would not know the better...HONESTY was impressive and has us retaining his card for his company should any event arise as the first call we make. I am very happy with the service provided by Horizon. My husband noticed some droppings outside that looked like termite eggs. Jason from Horizon came over and did a comprehensive inspection of our whole house and the garden areas. The inspection is free unless you are listing your house for sale, which I really appreciated because other companies quoted me a very steep price just for the inspection. Jason found where the termites were and then we scheduled time a few days later for them to come back and do the treatment. Everything went super smoothly, everyone communicated well, was polite, friendly and knowledgeable, arrived on time, cleaned up, etc. They offer a 5 year protection plan and will come back every year for included inspections to ensure the termites aren't back. Very unprofessional appointment system. Got their call this morning and I drove 40 minutes for a confirmed appointment, no one shows up. Called them many times and no one picks up the phone. Called back after an hour and told me it's wrong date, are you kidding me??? Their reception lacks basic organization and communication skills. They don't answer calls, and responses are slow. They wasted my holiday time and showed no respect for customers' schedules. This is not a reliable business. Don't even bother!!! read more

He immediately identified the type of termites that caused the damage, took the time to educate me on how to tell, and recommended an informed solution. He provided options for treatments along with clear costs. Paola was great, organized, and responsive on the admin side, helping us set up 2 separate treatments due to our construction schedule. The technicians that came out for the 2 treatments were also extremely resourceful (particularly the first one, who had to work with a sparse construction site with no running water), and were communicative and on time. In reading reviews as we were choosing a company to go with, I found myself wanting to better understand the process, hence a longer review: STORY It can be a scary thing when you think you see evidence of termites in your home! Having multiple companies come out and inspect the home for termites brought great peace of mind and reduced uncertainty for us. We thought we saw evidence of termite frass in our cabinet, but Jason came out and reassured us that it was not termites, but was some water damage instead. He continued to do a full inspection and saw evidence of subterranean termites in our crawl space. We had another company come out and do an inspection, and they corroborated what Horizon found. EXPERIENCE WITH HORIZON Jason and the entire crew at Horizon were great! Jason was very thorough in his inspection, Negar in the front office was very prompt, responsive and helpful in her communications, and the crew that came to do the treatment (I think it was Adam and Leo?) was very informative, and seemed to do their work well. We have some more peace of mind now, but ultimately can't comment on the outcomes of their work yet. Will check back once we know more. read more

Leonel and Francisco did a thorough termite treatment throughout our house including the attic, the crawl space beneath our house, and the entire surround of the outside of our house and garage as well as our tiled deck. They were punctual, worked steadily for five hours, and cleaned up everything when they completed the job. They answered all our questions and gave us a tour of the job when finished. Like trying to find a good dentist or mechanic, it did take me a while to decide who to call. This guys are professionals. In the initial inspection I saw how thorough the approach was. I was also given a little "on-the-go intro on termite infestation" that was quite educational. The inspector suggested more than one option to go about it. No charge for the inspection and no pressure sales tactics. On the day of the application the two gentlemen that came were very meticulous. How meticulous? Upon almost ending the service, one tech was showing me the areas covered, when he suddenly found a single tiny termite "dropping" (yes!) on the surface of one of the outer walls. He described it as an exit point. Upon removing it myself, a tiny hole was revealed. He treated the spot.
