When we purchased our home, the previous owners claimed they had eradicated a prior rat infestation. Unfortunately, after we moved in, we found that the crawl space was full of rats. Over the next two years, we hired two different companies to perform full removal programs. Both claimed they had fully inspected the crawl space and eliminated all entry points. Unfortunately, when the rats came back, neither company honored their warranties. We then hired 3 Step Rodent Proofing. During their inspection of the crawl space, they found and documented with photos all of the entry points they identified and sealed. In addition, the service technician discovered a water leak and showed us exactly where it was located. We would have never known about this leak without the photos he provided. We were shocked that the previous two companies never mentioned the leak, which turned out to be caused by a bad water pipe connection from the previous owners' remodel. After the work performed by 3 Step Rodent Proofing, the crawl space was rat-free. We did not see another dropping around the vents. About a year later, my wife thought she heard noises under the house. I was pretty sure the sound was coming from our HVAC system, but decided it was better to be safe than sorry. I contacted 3 Step Rodent Proofing, and they had a technician out within the week to evaluate the situation. They performed a thorough inspection of the crawl space and the house and found no signs of rats. They also told me to call them back if we saw any droppings or heard any new noises. Highly recommend 3 Step Rodent Proofing. I've used them a couple of times, and they've always been great. A few days ago, while moving out my wine fridge, I found a dead mouse underneath it. I was grossed out and wasn't sure if this was from a pest issue we had a couple years ago or a recent problem. 3 step came highly recommended by folks in my neighborhood. We had been seeing rodents go under a gap in the siding into the crawl space, and there were a couple living under the backyard shed. We've been dealing with a serious rat problem and were incredibly stressed about rats getting into our garage and house. Trevor came to our home Friday, Saturday AND Sunday night, working until almost 11pm multiple nights, simply because he was determined to help us get this under control, and help us keep our young children safe. Highly recommend, had Eddie come out back in 2022 when we had squirrel activity in our attic. Eddie came out and laid traps in our attic crawl space to see if he could catch them and then found their entry points and sealed them off with metal wire mesh and rodent proofed our roof at the same time to make sure no other rodents could get in. I mainly also love these guys cause of their 3 year warranty and 2 years later, I hear the squirrels again at their original entry point and Eddie came back out and reinforced the area to prevent them from coming back and laid down some spikes I purchased to deter them from going to a roof overhang where they were entering.
