I live in SF and they were more than happy to head out from their HQ in San Jose, so I'm already impressed by the willingness to go the distance (literally). I called on a Thursday and was able to get a free inspection the following Tuesday morning. When you discover termites as a first time homeowner, the stress and budget can get you in the wrong headspace, but the company answered all my questions and reassured me along the way. After the inspection, they were able to schedule a treatment the same Friday. Since my home is a typical SF row house, only the spot treatment was available. They did a thorough inspection and found termite nests in places we'd never thought to look, such as our backyard deck. Since our infestation was scattered, they drilled multiple holes and and pumped the poison and did a good job of matching the wood color. I was honestly surprised on how much of a full inspection they did compared to other companies. They looked at all 3 floors of the house, and the entire perimeter for any other evidence of termites. I was advised on some rotting wood on my window sills, which showed me they actually go above and beyond their scope of work. We have a wonderful experience with the team at Chang An Termite Control. My husband reached out to them via Yelp projects as well as a few other companies. We got a quick response from Tim and set up an appointment with Fili to come out for an assessment and estimate for the job. We had found a tiny hole in the wall by our ceiling of our entryway with tiny shavings of wood around it and on the floor below. Fili examined our attic, crawlspace, interior and exterior of our house. He found evidence of termites in the front of our house on the siding by our front door and in the spot we found. Luckily it wasn't too bad and could be resolved with localized treatment where they drill small holes and squirt in a foam that kills the termites. He gave us an estimate. And we got back to him after a few other termite companies came out and checked our house and fave estimates. It seems the other two companies were not as thorough as Fili. The other companies didn't even check the front siding of our house and were more expensive. We booked our appointment with Chang An Termite Control. They showed up today on time and got to work. As an update, there was some misunderstanding and I think that caused some confusion but overall the service was great! I had a follow up inspection from Tim due to recent weather and swarming of bugs. He was really prompt in communicating and scheduling time. Luckily it was a false alarm due to Black webspinners looking similar but I'm definitely appreciative everything him and his company have done for us in treating for termites.
