We call Creature Catchers (CC) as we'd used them in the past to catch a 35pound raccoon in our backyard! CC is a family owned business- husband-wife team, Andy and Sandra. Andy came out and did a complete attic check. He found a raccoon mother & baby(s) had made their home in our attic. Instead of setting up traps, he chose to do an "eviction," which means he banged around with a stick to disrupt/scare the mother (he couldnt actually reach them due to home insulation etc.). That night the mom and babies left!! I HEARD them go:))) No Harm- all good:))! Andy later re-did our vent screens to make sure no more entry points were available. CC KNOWS what they are doing. They are humane, professional, and very communictive. We're honestly telling you- don't search around for another company. As soon as you call and talk to Sandra you'll understand what kind of service to expect. Their prices are totally great for what you get- PEACE OF MIND!

Based on the sound and location, I was convinced there was a rodent trapped somewhere in the vent ducting or microwave housing. Matt helped me uninstall the microwave and take it outside so we could carefully investigate what was going on. Throughout the entire process, Matt was upbeat, collaborative, and delightfully easy to work with. One thing I especially appreciated was Matt's friendly and humorous demeanor during the troubleshooting process. When we opened things up and failed to find any droppings or evidence of a rodent, he mentioned that he was beginning to wonder if something else could explain the scratching noise that I heard, which turned out to be exactly right. After partially disassembling the microwave outside, we discovered that the "rodent" was actually a large Longhorn beetle inside the microwave housing making scratching noises that sounded a lot like a rodent. What could have been a stressful and frustrating experience turned into something unexpectedly funny thanks to Matt's calm demeanor, good humor, and collaborative spirit. I was genuinely grateful for his help and would absolutely work with him again.

I found them in a…read moresearch on Yelp and no joke, my 8 year old calls me Bro, so figured I would fit right in with the Attic Bros! I think within maybe 20 minutes of submitting my Yelp quote I had a call back and an appointment. Michael came out and did a THOROUGH inspection of the attic took a ton of before pics. But not only that he then sat down with me and went through the entire process, which is quite frankly, amazing. He also answered all of my questions and offered some input on my ducts. He made himself available for any other questions too, which was so nice since my husband wasn't around - there's always another question. With this process, not only do you get your old attic crud sucked out, they look for and seal any entry point for critters. They add mesh from the inside plus they go around the whole perimeter from the outside of the house too just to make sure they caught all entry points. They seal all air gaps from things like recessed lights and fans. And then they sanitize. Something about knowing my 70 year old house got a deep clean is VERY satisfying for my OCD cleaning tendencies. The insulation went in - they use a batting that is 12" thick, my attic before probably had an inch, maybe 2 in spots of the old blow-in stuff which was just dust and dirt and disgusting. This batting is eco-friendly - no pink artificial coloring, just the insulation which also is no longer harmful. Night one and I already saw a difference. Usually when it gets cold at night by 2:00 am our home temp inside drops, we stayed a steady temperature throughout the night, I might be a bit crazy, but it feels like there's a sound dampening effect too - I don't have to have the TV on as high of a volume. Follow-up, they add traps and will come back to monitor in a couple weeks to make sure there is no activity. Another over the top customer service layer - we had Jordan as our project/site manager for the day - I was texted by the system with his picture, LOVE this feature, its really helpful. And he called when he was closer. He kept me updated throughout the day and was just really kind, very professional and the crew he brought, Jesse and I did not catch the other gentleman's name - they worked so incredibly hard, and efficiently. We really appreciated this crew, they were amazing. If you are hesitating for any reason to get your insulation in your attic done - DON'T - it is 100000000% worth every dollar, which by the way is an incredible value when you really think about what it does for your home. I am quite mad at myself for not doing it sooner, but certain things had to happen first, so here we are! I would choose Attic Bros in a heartbeat and whole heartedly recommend them!

Attic Bros responded to a voicemail and email within a day and had someone out the next morning. Jordan Kelly did the inspection and was thorough and straight with us. He found the rats were coming in at the plumbing vent penetrations, and pointed out something no one had ever told us: all our previous rodent-proofing had been done on the tiles, not the plywood underneath -- so the actual entry layer had never been sealed. That explained years of recurring problems. He didn't oversell; he explained what mattered and why. A few things that stood out. When I asked whether the crawlspace was covered, he added crawlspace exclusion and trapping to the estimate at no additional cost. When I flagged that the warranty terms would have been voided by my routine annual HVAC service, he had the language corrected in writing. And when a scheduling mix-up pushed my date out two weeks, they found me the original slot back after one email. The crew of four arrived on time and finished in a day -- removed all the old contaminated insulation, vacuumed out the droppings, sealed every entry point with metal mesh, sanitized, and installed new R-38. Professional, tidy, and they took care in the house. First night since: completely quiet. Job just completed, so I'll update this if anything changes -- but the process, the honesty, and the workmanship were all excellent.

Now I don't hear as much noise and the rooms feel a lot warmer. Then he did the attic by first cleaning it, then sealing it and filling it up to spec with quality insulation. My house used to have cold spots and heater would kick on every 20 minutes. Now there are no cold spots and the house stays warmer a lot longer and again much quieter from external noise. AVOID PRESTO. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INCREDIBLY SUB-PAR SERVICE. We had a flea issue in our home and called Presto to come spray the property. We were working on a tight schedule and booked Presto because Jim was able to come out within 48 hours of us calling, and other exterminators were unable to accommodate us on short notice. He was very curt and rushed us off the phone, being unwilling to answer simple questions about the services he would be providing, even requesting our credit card info to be texted to him (which is highly insecure). When he arrived day-of, he was incredibly callous and unwilling to cooperate with our simple request to walk through the small 1500 sqft house and show us explicitly where he was planning to spray. We wanted to point out specific at-risk areas where our kitty cat liked to play (in the small crevices behind the couch, under the desk, etc. where Jim would likely not know to spray, unless we explicitly pointed them out). We explained this to him yet he said it would take more time to walk through our property with us than it would to just spray it, and hurriedly rushed us out of the house. When we pulled all of our cars out of the garage, we watched him spray the (now empty) garage and it was done in a very non-thorough manner - casually moving his hose side to side, missing multiple areas (e.g. all of the cracks/corners where the walls meet the floor, near our water heater where there were lots of crevices flea eggs could have been). Upon coming back to our house a few hours after the treatment was complete, we called back to confirm that he had remembered to do the closet under the stairs (which we would have pointed out, had he been willing to walk through the house with us prior to the service). He said he had not. We were irritated that he left the job undone and that when we requested he come back to spray the closet (which was at risk of fleas, given what was stored inside), he gave us attitude, saying it was unnecessary. Two days after our initial service, in the middle of the work day, he texted us saying "I'll be there in 20 minutes" with next to no notice. Both me and my housemate work during the day and had to step away from important previously scheduled work meetings we were slated to present at in order to deal with Presto. When he came inside to do the (very deep) closet, he quickly sprayed only the front half of the deep closet, yet when we said we needed him to spray the entirety of the closet, he gave us attitude, did not spray it, and walked out, leaving in a rush. Just before he stormed off, we asked him to confirm if he had done the closets upstairs, or if he had also forgotten to do those, and he shrugged. We asked him if he could walk 20 feet up the flight of stairs to look at the closet and confirm, as he had literally been in the house 2 days prior, and he said "I wouldn't remember" and angrily walked out on us. Presto is incredibly unprofessional and rude with the worst customer service I have ever seen. The number of fleas we found immediately after the service went down somewhat, but within a week they were back in full force. At the time of our service, Presto only used an insecticide (Tengard, I believe), and did not use an IGR growth regular, which meant the solution used only killed fleas but didn't prevent them from reproducing. That, along with the sloppy, entirely non-thorough job Presto did (not carefully focusing on floorboards where fleas like to hide / leave eggs), meant that two weeks after service, we were still covered in flea bites and our poor kitty was still scratching non-stop, despite the use of both a topical flea preventative and an expensive flea collar. We have since called a different exterminator who both displayed professionalism and whose service was actually thorough and effective (two weeks after the new exterminator's service, we've had no flea bites to speak of, and have not found any fleas on our cat). Presto's horrible customer service, unprofessionalism, along with a hurried, sloppy, half-assed and entirely ineffective service means this review is a no-brainer. AVOID PRESTO. The cheaper cost is NOT WORTH IT. Don't waste your money. read more

I own over 100 apartment units spread out throughout California that have been serviced by a well known pest control company. As a landlord, it can be difficult sometimes to manage all of the problems that arise trying to manage so many units. After tenants report a problem, I just want to assign the issue to a vendor that can solve the problem right away and not have to worry about it any longer. That's just not always the case with invasive pests such as german roaches and bed bugs. If they aren't addressed immediately they can spread to other units in a short amount of time. Typically I create a work order and send it off to the pest control vendor only to have them come back multiple times to treat the same unit for months never resolving the issue. I finally decided it was time to try something different and called Presto to see if they would be any different. I explained that the unit was heavily infested with roaches and has been treated multiple times. They came out the same day and suggested using an Actisol treatment used for severe infestations, that I had never heard of this service before. Wow, was I surprised at the results after just one treatment, they had created a mass graveyard of roaches all over the kitchen floor. I checked back with the tenants who said that the single treatment had completely wiped out all of the roaches. At another site a unit that had reported to previously have bed bugs was treated by another company had came back. I tried Presto on that unit as well and they used a three step treatment process. The final process was the use of a bacteria that attaches itself to bed bugs killing them. The tenants who previously were complaining of bites had stopped. I'veworked with various vendors over the years, I was fortunate to have found Presto making the stressof managing the units simple and smooth. read more

If you are looking for a "no nonsense" pest control company, Jim is your guy, and follow up is awesome. I contacted Jim to get some pest control work done, Jim was very quick to respond, showed up, analyzed the issues and he is very dedicated to his job and what he does. Presto Pest Control is very knowledgeable at what they do, absolutely no run around, very prompt to respond and you can see that Jim loves what he does! Cost was nothing compared to the job. Cost was very reasonable. On Friday evening my wife discovered a live baby possum in our top load washing machine. If it was dead I would of removed it myself and tossed it in the trash, but since it was still alive, I really didn't want to take a chance of getting bit. It was really changeling to find a company that would answer the phone at 7:30PM, and I really didn't want to wait till the next day. Gave Presto a call and Jim answered my call. He came out right away and quickly solved our possum problem. If I did it myself, I am not sure what I would do with a live possum. I called Jim in a panic last spring, because a billion little bugs were crawling all over my property and into the house. Even he had never seen such a bad infestation. It took a few weeks to fully exterminate them, but thanks to Jim's expertise and diligence, the situation was under control. He was able to trace it back to a mound of mulch, and worked with an entomologist to identify the insects; mostly lygus bugs. I can never bring myself to believe it that a business could refuse to follow a court order for so long. I spent endless time and energy during this period and I hope you, whomever reading this review, could save your life and stay away from this company. What's both funny and frustrating is that this is not really a "win" for me - I'm literally just getting back my extra money paid to another provider to clean up Pacific Pest Mgn's mess. I cannot even collect interest because they filed SC-105 when I was out of the town, so the case was automatically closed after 10 days without the typical 10% annual interests (total $237.55).

I completed assessments with multiple companies and decided on Critter Control because David was so kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough with his work (kudos to you David!) He was happy to answer all my questions and it really put me and my family at ease. His assessment report was so detailed and we were quoted such a great price compared to other companies. Their process is straight forward, they are transparent with their costs and don't try to push additional services that you don't need. We finished our repairs a couple of weeks ago and we went from hearing movement in the attic every single day to pure silence. We were having months long issues with ants that were entering through grout voids, under…read morebaseboards, etc. We tried Terro, which as worked for us before, as well as Advion ant gel. The ants seemed to like those baits and take them back to the colony, but just kept coming back. We lost our faith and patience in DIY-ing. Maybe it would have worked if we kept at it, but who knows? We called RPM because of reviews saying that they don't push subscription/recurring services as well as general high satisfaction levels. Everything was great. Easy to schedule an appointment (it was 1.5-2wks out, which was fine). Dustin was friendly, efficient, and happy to discuss the issue and my questions. And best of all, very few ants (like less than 10 total) throughout the house after they sprayed Termidor around the perimeter fence, foundation, and entries. While it didn't take a lot of time and I'm sure the chemicals weren't pricey, the cost considering the value delivered was very fair and reasonable. We'd do it 10/10 times again and we'll call RPM again for any future pest control issues.
