Had massive ant problems, and they were driving us crazy, but the team came out quickly, treated the house thoroughly, and the ants disappeared within days. I'm very happy with the results and would definitely use them again. Highly recommend! read more

I've been a realtor for over 16 plus years and I have never come across a termite business so negligent and unethical in the real estate servicesZ I had a Presto pest control appointment at a property in Cupertino, CA. This home was to be listed at $3.5M and this home had possible active termite Infestation. The owners wanted to fix. 24 hours before the day of appointment , I explained to the Presto technician I couldn't make it to the property to meet him. I explained beforehand there's a lockbox and provided him the code. The Technician acknowledged. He technician did only an exterior walk through of the home and provided a $$$ unreasonable quote which was much higher than what I expected. I also realized the Presto technician NEVER did a walk through inside the home. I know this because there were no interior photos in the Presto quote and my lockbox showed no access for the key removal. In summary, I received an incomplete and a very high $$$$ quote from Presto. I went with another vendor who was much more realistic and reasonable and in line with the termite work. I explained this to owner Jim via phone call and followed up with emails afterwards . I still have our communication correspondences. Jim Rossi acknowledged and wanted to make it right. I explained to Jim I went with another termite company because I was very disappointed in his company's incomplete work and because I always have a second vendor on hand for any real estate services. I thought that was the end. A few days ago, I received a letter from a collection agency saying Presto was coming to collect $106 for the incomplete termite visitation. I explained to Jim Rossi that his organization was very unprofessional about all this but Jim didn't listen and proceeded to collection from my brokerage. I called the collection company and left a VM to explain but they agency never responded to resolve this outstanding amount. I asked Jim to drop this petty charge due to his ego being hurt or whatever and move on and make sure going forward his team does a more complete and thorough job with termite inspection especially for high end homes in Cupertino, CA. read more

This is my second review for Presto Pest. This time it's for my home not business. Anyway, after 2 months using Terro to get rid of the ants inside and outside my home and not having any success, I decided ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and called Jim at Presto Pest. OMG, he was able to send David the following day and within 5 days no more ants! I signed up for a year, and my hubby and I could not be more pleased. David is competent, friendly and smart! Honestly if you're dealing with ants and tired of not having success, contact Jim at Presto Pest. You'll not regret it. Thank you Jim and David! read more

Still super happy with Presto Pest Control. We have had them for at least 4 years now and they are doing a great job. Jim is super receptive. Brian is does an excellent job!! He is always on time and does the job assigned. Previous companies not so much. read more

After the third ant infestation in my kitchen, I called Jim at Presto Pest to take care of it once and for all, and he did. (He was also the only pest control business to come over, immediately, on a Saturday). To keep the ants away, I have the service every other month to spray the perimeter outside the house, which leaves no odor, by the way. After two years, not one ant has made it back in, or any other bug! When Brian comes to spray, he is always smiling, cheerful, and friendly -- an added bonus to the service. And he's as reliable as clockwork. These guys are worth every penny if you hate bugs in your house like I do. I recommend Presto. read more

Presto is the best. They are efficient, on time and professional. Their personnel, both office staff and in-field are the best. They are patient, polite and effective. We had a major rodent/possum problem under our house and they did an incredible job of cleaning it up and rodent proofing the whole place. We would recommend them to anyone who has pest issues. read more

Presto goes above and beyond to deliver first rate service! We called on a Sunday with an URGENT request for pest treatment (roaches) for a property where tenants were moving in the next day. Jim got us on the schedule for the next morning, treatment was done and move in was flawless! Presto is a great value: prices are reasonable, service is fast and efficient and they just do an overall GREAT job! Everyone we have contacted at Presto reflects the company culture: helpful, friendly and service oriented! read more

I called Presto because I noticed mouse droppings in my kitchen and little tiny holes eaten in many of my pantry staples. The service was both prompt and pricey but resulted in one dead mouse in the pantry area and one dead rat in the attic. Honestly, the best thing about this company is Mario, who is a pleasure to work with and is courteous, knowledgable and kind. We need more people like Mario! read more

Had a raccoon issue for a couple months I called and they came out the same day. Very friendly and knowledgeable tech installed 3 traps and we had the big guy before 8pm. They came back in the morning to remove the critter. I asked to keep the traps up for a few more days to see if there any others that like my roof they had no issues. I would recommend Presto for your pest control needs. Thank you read more

What a great pest control company! My company previously used another known pest control company that was unsatisfactory to say the least as well as very difficult to get ahold of. The only time that they seemed to return our calls was when the monthly service bill was due when we caught them several times on camera just in their vehicle claiming that they serviced the business. Ultimately, we let them go and immediately brought Presto Pest Control in. They were fast, professional, honest, affordable and most importantly, consistent. We have had nothing but positive encounters with Presto and continue to use them today. I highly recommend Presto. Great company. read more

These guys are great. Every time I've had an issue, they've come out relatively quickly. We've been using them for various pest and rodent problems for the past 2 years. The technicians are always knowledgeable and they have always successfully gotten rid of whatever we're calling them for. read more

Presto Pest Control responded within hours to our needs for pest treatments. It was determined that 3 sprayings would alleviate our pest problems. Presto technicians (Brian Hutka and Mario Contreras) thoroughly explained exactly what each chemical spraying entailed. Their professional expertise was essential to the positive outcome. Each time these two technicians came to our home they were extremely courteous and mindful of our home. Our hats are off to Presto Pest Control. We can't praise their work enough and will certainly call upon them in the future. Our home is now Pest Free! read more

Mario, the technician, deserves 5 stars. He was experienced, efficient, answered our questions, and successfully eradicated our problem. What a great guy!Unfortunately I felt I needed to remove a star from the rating due to the abrupt and condescending tone of the owner who clearly has no patience for any questions potential customers might have. I came very close to cancelling our appointment after my initial phone contact but I'm so glad I didn't! Someone else really should be answering the phone because the service is truly excellent. read more

Wanted to update my review. Presto has saved us time and time again. We are a property management company and have needed pest control services within the SAME DAY and Jim has made it happen for us every time. Their prices are competitive but the selling point is having a reliable person and company who will pick up your call, get someone over there ASAP, and get the job done. We refer Presto to anyone looking for pest control, they offer everything you need. THANK YOU!!! read more

Jim to the rescue We have a rat infestation in our town home complex. Jim came by the same day I called to do a walk thru. He sent over the statement of work for his services. A couple days later, Our HOA board approved and sent back to Jim in the morning. He had the bait boxes out that afternoon!!!! Hoping to be rat free with Jim in charge! read more

When I had my carpet replaced the installers found termite damage. Jim cam out and took a look but he could not see any new damage in the area as it was now covered by the carpet. He did notice a wasps nest and several areas where creatures could get into the crawl space and the attic. He had Mario come out later that day and removed the wasps nest and blocked all of the egress points. He put traps in both the attic and crawl space and checked them the following 2 weeks. Fortunately they were all empty. Will definitely use them again in the future. read more

Great service today! I had a yellow jackets nest really high up in a weird location between my roof and over my front door that I noticed yesterday and was scrambling to try find someone to handle it today. Presto responded quickly to my inquiry and follow up texts and came out today. Mario was great! He was friendly, took care of the yellow jacket issue and took the time to answer all of my questions. I did not feel like he was rushing me along. He seemed to genuinely care about the quality of his work to get the job done and understood the value of what customer service is. I would recommend Presto and Mario to address your pest control needs. Thank you! read more

Presto installed netting above my large porch to prevent birds from building nests. In the past, the nests have been a health hazard, so this year I called Presto to see if they could help. Jim sent someone over same day, I don't recall the person's name but he was super nice and helpful. I got a quote later that day to install netting that was very reasonable in comparison to other places I had called. As soon as I accepted the quote, Jim ordered the material right away, communicating that it might take a few days to get the material. As soon as the product came in, Jim scheduled the job. Mario came by as scheduled and installed the netting and it looks great. I was afraid it wouldn't look good, but Mario installed it very neatly and it isn't very noticable. Overall, Jim kept me in the loop at every step, and was very responsive. Both people that stopped by were extremely courteous and helpful. I would definitely hire Presto again. read more

Mice in the house - EEK! After unsuccessfully trying to work with two other pest control companies that were flaky and tried to upsell me with services I didn't need, I was so relieved to find Presto. Mario arrived quickly and on schedule, did a thorough check, sealed up the entrances and gave me the peace of mind that I have not had since we first learned of our rodent issue. They called when they were on their way to let me know when they would arrive. Very friendly with our dog and make sure the dog would not be harmed. Inspected our house to see if we had any other bug or problems besides ants he informed us that there are some cockroachs and spiders, and he would spay accordingly. We have not has any ant or bugs since. A++ read more

Moved into my new home and so did the ants. I tried those store bought Terro Ant Killer and the ants kept coming even more. They must be immune to those stuff. Finally, I called Presto and Jim showed up in a couple of hours. That afternoon, he laid out the ant gel and sprayed outside the house. I was totally amazed at the result. All the ants were gone by that evening. Thanks Jim. read more

We've been working with Presto for over a year and it has worked very well for us. We reached out to them on Yelp because we thought their logo was awesome :) After evaluating other companies, we decided to take a chance on them as their quote was competitive and they were very responsive. Jim made things easy for us as he was very informative and organized. He has a good set up with his appointment management and billing systems. There was a time where we were considering whether continuing to have pest control was still necessary, however, around that time Presto introduced us to our current technicians, Carl and Carlos and they have provided fantastic service for our property ever since. Not only are they thorough with their work, they are also very friendly and check-in to see if we have any concerns. They've also provided us extra value-add by sharing insights for reducing outdoor garden pests. Presto is great - and we are glad to support them as a local business. We are encouraged to see them doing well especially as they started out early in the pandemic. read more

"No problem is too big". You guys might want to rethink your tag line. I never post Yelp reviews but am honestly livid right now. I have a tree in my backyard that I love to death, and when my annual Clark inspection report hinted that I should have my tree checked out by a specialist, I called presto pest control immediately based on their reviews and their tag line. I spoke with Jim Rossi, who asked for photos of my tree to be emailed and then we could set up an appointment for evaluation. His reply? "I don't know what I can do to help you." No explanation, no "hey your tree has xyz problem," just a complete brush off. I then called Jim, who was clearly irritated at me, and stated again that he doesn't know what he can do for me. I tried asking what pests he think it has, or why he thinks it's beyond help since it looks mostly healthy, but he clearly just wanted me off the phone. Absolutely the most unprofessional experience I've had during homeownership. read more

I used Presto at my rental house because I suspected termite activity. Jim was very professional and responded right away. He found evidence of an infestation and set up fumigation within a couple days. The whole process was seamless and much less expensive than other pest control companies. I had several bids. Other companies recommended services that were not needed as well. I would definitely use Presto again and recommend them to others. read more

Jim promptly returned my call within 10 minutes and assured me that a technician would be at my place between 4 and 6 p.m. To my surprise, Mario, the technician, arrived before 3 p.m. His exceptional service and attentiveness to my concerns were truly impressive. Mario not only addressed the rodent issue effectively but also patiently answered all my questions. Because of Mario's professionalism, I will use Presto for all of my pest control needs. Very rude and curt on the phone and seemed agitated for no reason.. Do not recommend.

My landlord had this company come out to spray due to spiders. Jim (owner) came out to do the job. In my experience, he has zero customer service skills. He was very curt, arrogant, and made me feel stupid with some of the questions I was asking. He was to spray inside and out, and started outside. He did some of the outside, but then went inside and didn't mention he was going to start spraying inside. I knew I couldn't be in there after that, but he should have told me he was about to spray inside and asked if I had what I needed. Instead he came outside after spraying and just said, "Do you have the key?" I said yes, but that I needed my things. He said you can't go in, and instead had to hand my items to me. When I asked how long I had to remain outside of the house, he didn't answer me and instead just pointed to the tag he attached to the front door. The spray he did outside that I did see, did not seem very thorough at all. Aside from not having the same chemicals he had, I could have done a much better job myself. He mentioned the spray would be effective in a few days, however I have not noticed any difference at all. When he was leaving, I handed him the check from my landlord which he took. Then several hours later he texted me saying that my landlord already paid for the service via credit card, and asked what he should do with the check. Being the owner, he should have known/seen that the service was already paid for, and shouldn't have even accepted the check. I let my landlord know of my experience with Jim and he has zero interest in using his company again, nor could he recommend his company to others. I've seen that he replies to a lot of the reviews on here to counter what others have said. He can certainly do that, but my experience of him was my experience and that remains the same. read more

We had a flea infestation in the past few months. I was reluctant to call a professional to handle it because of the pandemic. I did a lot to get rid of fleas but things only became worse. Finally, I called Jim. Now I wish I had called him on the first day. Jim is one of the most honest and considerate persons I've met. He came on time, wearing a mask. He nicely explained to me what the steps are both over the phone and before he started. He also texted me about all the cautions I need to take after he finished his job, which was impeccable. Most importantly, he charges a very fair price. Finding Jim is like finding a hidden gem. Jim also voluntarily checked in with me after a week of his job, asking about any issues. I was so touched by his service. To be honest, I had all kinds of service done at my house by different professionals: Jim is the best. read more

The shelter in place has really put the focus on all of the projects at the house that need to taken care of. We kept hearing noises coming from the attic at night but wasn't sure what it was. The noises stopped and we figured that the problem went away only to realize that it had returned. Then we found rodent droppings under the sink which was totally gross, we realized that it was rats making their way into our kitchen. We knew then that we had to get rid of them and right away! We called a few pest control companies but they couldn't get someone out to remove the rats until later in the week. We decided to give Presto a try hoping they would be fast. I called them and they had someone come out to our home within an 1 hour. I didn't mind paying for the inpsection fee because it was deducted from the total cost of the serice. They pointed out all of the places around the house that the rats were able to access into the home. They provided me with a quote to repair them and begin to trap the rats in the attic. We didn't realize that the bird seed that we had in the backyard was a feeding source for the rats until it was pointed out to us. It was recommended that we also install bait around the house since we had a creek and open field next door. I was hesitant because I have little ones and animals not wanting them to be exposed to chemicals. They explained the rat poison they use is multifeeding which is less toxic and that everything was approved for use in California. I'm so glad we had chosen Presto because our rat problem is gone! We found one dead rat under a log in the backyard but it was explained there were more rats dead becuase all the bait was gone indicating there were a lot. We no longer hear any noises in the attic and we make sure that the bird feeder does not spill the seed onto the ground. They solved our problem so fast and explained everything that they would be doing ahead of time. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants their problem gone for good and fast. Amy read more

Jim helped us with a small german cockroach infestation. He first helped calm our fears, then gave us very clear instructions on how to prep our house for the treatment and what to do if we encountered any dead or live bugs.
