My husband and I have no personal relationship with these owners! In early July 2025 we noticed an animal(s) scratching around in our living room attic. We call Creature Catchers (CC) as we'd used them in the past to catch a 35pound raccoon in our backyard! CC is a family owned business- husband-wife team, Andy and Sandra. Andy came out and did a complete attic check. He found a raccoon mother & baby(s) had made their home in our attic. Instead of setting up traps, he chose to do an "eviction," which means he banged around with a stick to disrupt/scare the mother (he couldnt actually reach them due to home insulation etc.). The saying goes "good things are worth waiting for" and this time it was so true! We were hearing noises in the attic and wasn't sure what it was what it was. We had called Andy and Sandra but Andy was out of town. We went with another company closer to us in Oakland and it was such a horrible experience. They weren't professional and had a horrible customer service attitude. After a few weeks of no results (they weren't even willing to go up into the attic to see what it is - they said it wasn't their job to find out what the animal was... ), I called Sandra to ask if Andy was free. Sandra listened to my concerns, gave me advice and suggestions and scheduled a time for Andy to come out. Andy arrived promptly and did a thorough inspection. He went to the attic, confirmed that we had a rat problem (rat poop everywhere), and went down in the crawlspace to also check if there were rats down below. In half a day he found all the pain points in our house, top to bottom (literally). Andy was efficient, professional and friendly. Afterwards he listed all the problem areas and suggestions for remedy. Sandra followed up and provided a quote, then scheduled a time for Andy to come out to check in traps and work on securing off the entry points where rats were coming in from. He caught 3 rats and after repairing our vents and sealing off holes, we haven't heard any noise since. When it comes to situations like these where you're seeking someone's expertise and service to follow through to help you resolve a problem, it can be so frustrating to find the right company that would be honest and trustworthy. Sandra and Andy's Creature Catchers is exactly that - they are experienced with amazing responsive customer service and this "mom and pop" shop is unlike other vendors that are associated by brand or affiliate. As I settled into my work-from-home pandemic routine, something scampered in the walls unseen. At first I thought it was running on roof tile, but on closer inspection, nothing was there, not even a dust pile. At this point, I knew something was in the wall and could no longer wait, I needed Creature Catchers to investigate. I called them up and described my problem without delay, and Sandra identified it likely to be a squirrel based on time of day. We scheduled an appointment to look for points of entry, as well as lay a trap to act as a sentry. On schedule, Andy, the owner, came out to inspect the home. He checked the exterior thoroughly like a fine-toothed comb. After the inspection, I was in for a surprise. The scampering sound and entry-point were on opposite sides! After he placed the trap, I waited a few days for more sounds in the wall. But there were none. No creatures in there left to crawl. Thankfully, no creatures were harmed from the makeshift blockade. They must have been out before the traps were laid. I scheduled another appointment to seal the hole, and Andy worked quickly and efficiently like on cruise control. I even asked him to clean up creature droppings and make preventive repairs, all at prices that were more than fair. A few weeks later, there were still no sounds in the wall, as if all the creatures had gone AWOL. I would definitely recommend them and utilize their services again. We had a mama raccoon and babies take up residence in the roof over our front courtyard archway (thankfully not connected to our home or garage's attic, but totally separate). Andy came out and suggested first trying an eviction to see if we could get her to relocate on her own. He spent quite a bit of time making that area unpleasant for her, including sprinkling "eviction fluid" (apparently smells like a male raccoon, as the males would eat the babies). Andy and Sandra make an awesome team! Took a little bit of time for the initial check-up of the property because they are in such high demand, but it was well worth it. They are extremely knowledgeable about what they do and extremely professional. Saying that they went above and beyond the work that was quoted on the initial invoice is an understatement. Used these guys maybe 2 weeks ago. We had pigeons freeloading under an eve on our second story. Originally I think it was some kinda finch up there but then there was some pigeon vs. finch throw down. That ended with finch eggs falling and making a mess. Then the pigeons moved in and made even more messes! Creature Catchers did a great job blocking it off. Really nice people in person and whoever I talked to on the phone/texts was also nice. Responsive and got back to me right away. I had left several messages at a Morgan Hill (that's where we live) Pest Company and I waited 3 or so weeks and never heard back or got anyone to answer the phone. They seem like a very honest company and if we have any issues in the future I'll definitely use them. Or recommend them to anyone. He even took $50 off the quote because there was less cleanup. Unfortunately starting hearing "noises" at night in the walls.... I had to hesitantly find a catcher for them. I called around and because We have a tile roof and many people wouldn't come. I was referred to creature catchers and so glad I was! They were responsive and very well organized. I was very impressed, they are busy so call them ASAP if you need your pests gone! We have a rodent problem in the attic. Our house has tiled roof. Andy came out to survey the problem. After analyzing the situation, he proposed sealing some areas on the roof which he thought might be the entry points for the rodents. He sealed off the openings and also put few traps in the attic. We put a camera in the attic to spot any movement. 10 days later, camera captured some movement in the attic and sure enough we saw a rat. I called Creature catchers and emailed them the video. Sandra timely scheduled Andy to come out again to assess the situation at no cost. He looked around the attic, roof and the garage. This time inside the garage, he saw an opening via which the rats were supposedly getting in. He sealed off the opening. We will see what happens now and hopefully the problem is solved. Very happy with the service we received from Creature Catchers. Sandra was very prompt with scheduling, her husband Andy did a thorough inspection which lasted over 1,5 hrs. Very serious gentleman, excellent as his work. He found all the entry points of the rats, traces of rat infestation in the attic, set up rat traps. Today he came back to perform all the exclusion work: sealing the entry points, - installing vent covers in the attic, under the roof, at the crawl space, under garage doors, collecting three rats in the traps. He was generous with his time: his work lasted from 9am till 4:40pm. He provided a detailed report and photographs of the work done. Sandra sent us the receipt which we submit to our landlord. Many months ago hired the company to block rodent entrance into my attic. $150 consultation. $700 for material and labor. 2 weeks later rats back in the attic and we hear them almost nightly. She gave me a $150 partial refund which I'll now return since this is far from a fair settlement. Since they've now insulted me by accusing me of threatening their family and extorting their business I was compelled to leave this review. I'm amazed at how easy this was to fix but the co-owner emphatically denied responsibility and warned me to never contact them again. Being in business for 39 years myself I know that you want to make sure ALL of your clientele is happy. In response to her explanation: #1 I do my own trapping and still am. #2 The main reason I went with this company is that they do work with metal tile roofs. #3 The daylight I saw streaming in from the attic view has nothing to do with the roof. read more

Creature Catchers is by far one of the best companies I have used for any sort of service, this is my second review (gave them props on Google), they deserve that and so much more. They saved me from a company that tried to scam me out of $13,000 after I discovered a dead rat in the attic of my newly purchased home and heard scratching at night in ceiling. Please never use a rodent company that does insulation and attic cleaning, conflict of interest, they will rip you off. This other company was incredibly pushy, they made me think small trails of rodent droppings were going to poison my family and that I had an infestation and I needed to completely clean, sanitize and replace my ENTIRE insulation immediately. I had other companies come in for a quote and they of course confirmed my insulation did not need replacement and the problem was far from infestation, if anything it was prob just 1 or 2. That said these other companies had differing opinions of entry points, and I was not convinced. I called Creature Catchers and they were amazing from the start. For a low price they came out to check out the place, place traps, assess entry points immediately. Andy caught immediately where on the roof they were coming in, he's a master at his craft and you could tell from the start he is truly an expert. Btw he was the only one that went on the roof for inspection, the other companies didn't. He was one of few who laid down plastic on my floor to protect it when accessing attic entry in my closet. He toured the home and found gap underneath the garage door. Also, he told me the type of insulation I had was very knew, and i definitely did NOT need to replace my insulation, he could easily scoop up the few trails of poop he had seen. The type of insulation I have is cellulose installation where you can easily scoop what you don't need and spread the rest. He told me it was far from being a serious problem. From what he had seen lately it was one of the most minor problems he had encountered and was appalled by company that told me I had to replace my entire insulation. Andy and Sandra are a team of 2, so they ensure they deliver amazing service, it is their company and their reputation on the line for every visit. I immediately agreed to do the 2 fixes and incredibly fair quotes, he was confident would take care of prob. Btw, he's a pleasure to talk to, he came back and meticulously sealed the entry points on roof and added the screens, and installed an amazing metal strip underneath garage door. To top it off, I had mentioned to him how a fan in my laundry room kept sinking, I asked if he had any ideas. He immediately checked it out informed me they had not installed a frame for the fan. I asked to please help, and he was amazing and fixed the issue. Andy worked in construction so fully trusted him. He's a ninja in the attic as well, knows exactly where to step due to his extensive experience. When I tried going up there myself it looked like snow, my feet sunk in insulation and I had no clue where the beams were to step on. I'd trust Andy and Sandra with everything, they are truly good hearted people. Very honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. Recommend them times a million. They took care of the problem, I used to hear scratching up there, but haven't heard anything since. He left other traps up there too just in case. Andy and Sandra are a great team! We first called Creature Catchers two years ago when we came home from a week away during a very hot August to the obvious smell that something was dead in our attic. Sandra was so helpful on the phone as Andy was pretty booked up. Andy worked hard to find the dead rat that was under the insulation. He set traps in case there were others and sealed up all that he could find that might be an entry point. We're one of six units in our building, and he offered great advice on what else we could do for the building. Then last week, the smell was back. Andy was booked two weeks out (this is the impact of 5-star reviews!). Sandra was so helpful with other referrals, as my partner just couldn't sleep at home with the smell and we urgently needed help. Brief: Fast, Friendly, Awesome Service. Could not have been better. Verbose: A masked vandal moved into our attic and made more noise than a bobsled-team as an upstairs neighbor. Creature was under floor right under our bed scratching for hours every night. Maybe trying to build a nest or something, I don't know. Creatures Catchers tried, but alas could not catch the creature. It was a hard case. The guy made his best effort and crawled all around under the house, but saw no signs of it. They couldn't make it out to me right away, but the lady gave us a discount for our wait. I eventually figured out the animal was getting in through a vent in the roof. I cut the branches leading to the vent, but the animal still wouldn't leave. I finally had to take a mini-jack hammer under the house to scare him away, and that worked. read more

Recently I'd contacted another company that said they'd get back to me to schedule but never did and didn't return calls. Creature Catchers returned my call promptly and came out the same week. Creature Catchers set traps, but also inspected more carefully and figured out where the rats were getting in and closed it up. Long overdue review from November 2019 exclusion work performed on my home. One of my favorite businesses of all time! Sandra and Andy are great to work with and are life savers. We had a rat that decided to chew on our PEX plumbing and not only was that an ordeal to manage but finding a pest control company to get rid of a rodent problem is really difficult. Andy does exclusion work which doesn't mean just setting traps around your attic, it means making your home impregnable by rodents. Of course nothing is perfect and a sure thing but after watching him work on my house for a few days I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. His experience with construction and decades of dealing with annoying critters is the perfect combination to deal with clever little creatures. We've been living up in the Graystone hills of Almaden Valley and we're delighted by the abundant wildlife all around us. But some of the little critters persistently try to invade our house. Back in 2011 the wood rats succeeded, somehow, and we called Creature Catchers. Andy came out and not only eradicated them from our attic and crawlspace with his traps, but he also methodically and thoroughly found and mended every gap the rats were exploiting to get inside. No more rats! Not that the little buggers have ever stopped trying. It took them 7 years, and some combination of rain and a freakishly warm January in early 2018 generated a fantastic quantity of wild rats and mice around here like we've never seen before, all of them chewing on every edge of every possible opening anywhere on the house. So we called Creature Catchers, and Andy worked his magic again. No more rats! It's impressive to watch Andy work with careful thoroughness. And his methods are much safer than just spraying dangerous poisons everywhere. This is the third time we've had our lawns totally torn up by a large raccoon. We've re-seeded twice. On Friday we returned from vacation only to find our front lawn had been totally destroyed again. Nothing worse than the sound of gnawing in your attic in the evening. Apparently a large possum decided to sublet my upstairs without my permission. I called Vector Control, but they only suggested that I may have an opening in my roof somewhere and then left. So, I called Creature Catchers after reading their Yelp reviews. I have to agree with many others here, Andy was a tremendous help in resolving the problem. He took a look at my roof and trees, found a couple openings and sealed them tight. Then he went up in my attic and found the animal. Apparently it had died in the last 24 hours, probably from the big party up there we had heard two days earlier. We have a tile roof and previously had different inspections carried out to try and find out where the rodents are getting in. Everyone one of them blamed the tiled roof and explained a new roof was needed except Creature Captures. Andy did a detailed inspection, identified the point of entry and for good measure sealed similar entry points. He even helped fix a couple of broken tiles along the way.
