From the very start of my engagement with Attic Bros it has been fantastic! I found them in a…read moresearch on Yelp and no joke, my 8 year old calls me Bro, so figured I would fit right in with the Attic Bros! I think within maybe 20 minutes of submitting my Yelp quote I had a call back and an appointment. Michael came out and did a THOROUGH inspection of the attic took a ton of before pics. But not only that he then sat down with me and went through the entire process, which is quite frankly, amazing. He also answered all of my questions and offered some input on my ducts. He made himself available for any other questions too, which was so nice since my husband wasn't around - there's always another question. With this process, not only do you get your old attic crud sucked out, they look for and seal any entry point for critters. They add mesh from the inside plus they go around the whole perimeter from the outside of the house too just to make sure they caught all entry points. They seal all air gaps from things like recessed lights and fans. And then they sanitize. Something about knowing my 70 year old house got a deep clean is VERY satisfying for my OCD cleaning tendencies. The insulation went in - they use a batting that is 12" thick, my attic before probably had an inch, maybe 2 in spots of the old blow-in stuff which was just dust and dirt and disgusting. This batting is eco-friendly - no pink artificial coloring, just the insulation which also is no longer harmful. Night one and I already saw a difference. Usually when it gets cold at night by 2:00 am our home temp inside drops, we stayed a steady temperature throughout the night, I might be a bit crazy, but it feels like there's a sound dampening effect too - I don't have to have the TV on as high of a volume. Follow-up, they add traps and will come back to monitor in a couple weeks to make sure there is no activity. Another over the top customer service layer - we had Jordan as our project/site manager for the day - I was texted by the system with his picture, LOVE this feature, its really helpful. And he called when he was closer. He kept me updated throughout the day and was just really kind, very professional and the crew he brought, Jesse and I did not catch the other gentleman's name - they worked so incredibly hard, and efficiently. We really appreciated this crew, they were amazing. If you are hesitating for any reason to get your insulation in your attic done - DON'T - it is 100000000% worth every dollar, which by the way is an incredible value when you really think about what it does for your home. I am quite mad at myself for not doing it sooner, but certain things had to happen first, so here we are! I would choose Attic Bros in a heartbeat and whole heartedly recommend them!

Attic Bros responded to a voicemail and email within a day and had someone out the next morning. Jordan Kelly did the inspection and was thorough and straight with us. He found the rats were coming in at the plumbing vent penetrations, and pointed out something no one had ever told us: all our previous rodent-proofing had been done on the tiles, not the plywood underneath -- so the actual entry layer had never been sealed. That explained years of recurring problems. He didn't oversell; he explained what mattered and why. A few things that stood out. When I asked whether the crawlspace was covered, he added crawlspace exclusion and trapping to the estimate at no additional cost. When I flagged that the warranty terms would have been voided by my routine annual HVAC service, he had the language corrected in writing. And when a scheduling mix-up pushed my date out two weeks, they found me the original slot back after one email. The crew of four arrived on time and finished in a day -- removed all the old contaminated insulation, vacuumed out the droppings, sealed every entry point with metal mesh, sanitized, and installed new R-38. Professional, tidy, and they took care in the house. First night since: completely quiet. Job just completed, so I'll update this if anything changes -- but the process, the honesty, and the workmanship were all excellent.

The communication was excellent, even on a holiday weekend I got called back within an hour of reaching out with questions, which I certainly did not expect! They arrived promptly for appointments and were thoughtful about avoiding tracking dirt into our home. They worked with us to customize their work to our coastal climate and were very transparent about exactly what materials they would be using (all top of the line, industral-grade!). I have pets and toddlers and they took my concerns about chemical disinfects seriously and offered several options to make sure I was comfortable with what was used in our home. They really seem to take pride in their work and enjoyed sharing before and after pictures to demonstrate all the improvements they made to our crawl space. When Elmer came out, he took about 30 minutes to walk through the house and gave us a completely different--and much more reassuring--assessment. He identified entry points where rodents were getting into the crawl space, explained that the air ducts did not need to be replaced, and instead recommended insulating the rafters, reinsulating the attic floor, and cleaning and reinsulating the crawl space. He also suggested installing an attic fan to improve air circulation. Throughout the visit, he was straightforward, knowledgeable, and very approachable. We decided to move forward with the attic fan. Umar updated the contract promptly and even came out personally to help program the fan and connect it to my phone. Their team worked tirelessly over four days and did an excellent job. They were professional, detail-oriented, and left the house clean when they were done. Thank God I didn't start a dryer fire. The second I shut it off and made sure everything was ok, I opened Yelp and searched for a dryer vent cleaner. Chris's Insulation came up, he had great ratings, he was super close by, so after calling a different service and going to voicemail, I called Chris. Chris picked up after the second ring. When I told him that I needed someone to clean our dryer vent and what had happened, he said he could come out either between 5:00 and 6:00 pm that evening or the next day. It was already mid-afternoon when I called, so I was surprised to hear him say he could still come out same-day, but I decided to have him do that since I was free and also still a little shaky following what happened with the vent either smoking or steaming. Chris showed up during the window he quoted and wasted no time getting to work. He started the second he arrived and was done within the hour. His pricing was incredibly reasonable and fair and so far, in the couple of weeks since he was here, we've had no issues with the dryer. Before he left, he also sent us a ton of pictures of what the vent looked like post-cleaning. Super happy and relieved.

I never did catch anything but had no more poop sightings in the garage, so when I heard thumping and scuttling noises in the morning above my bedroom ceiling, I was convinced they were back. This time in the attic. I had also seen squirrels in the backyard hop onto my roof from the fence and so thought it might be a combo of the two or one or the other. Reached out to Attic King via Yelp and Mosh himself came out within a few days to inspect. He checked both attic access points and visually walked the perimeter of my house. Imagine my surprise when he said he did not see activity in my attic and that he doesn't feel I need his services at this time! He felt the squirrels are on the roof and the rats activity that I saw in the garage in the past were just rodents that got in via an opened garage door or access points there. I understand that we cannot predict future animal behavior and rodents are everywhere around us. He did give a quick quote to seal the roof line only when I pushed for it and did not try to sell me any services. Good for me but maybe not so good for him and I really appreciated his honesty.

However, crawlspaces can get moldy and wet from lack of care. If you ever encounter rodents, there is a good chance they came via the crawlspace. After all, we do hear noises at night at times, which is creepy. Jacob visited and gave a comprehensive review and estimate. We basically went for a full package of rodent control, cleaning, and installing a new vapor shield to keep it dry. The while job took maybe 2.5 days with a crew of 3 workers each day. Outstanding quality work. First phase was sealing up the homes around the house and crawlspace, and laying traps. The attic was inspected too. This was followed up with weekly followups to ensure no more rodents. This scope was subcontracted to Golden State Critter Control. Highly recommend working with Greg. The next two phases involve cleaning and eventually reinstallation of the vapor shield. Compared to what we had before, it was day and night! I also appreciated the crew alerting me to a leaky drain pipe. I later worked with a plumber to replace a cracked 3"D drain pipe that connected upstairs to downstairs. It was fixed in about 3 hours with two plumbers. Definitely recommend Crawlspace Clean for rodent control and crawlspace cleaning. 5 stars.

I spent over $14,000 on rodent-proofing and subfloor insulation replacement, only for the rodents to return. When I called them back, I was informed that my one-year warranty had already expired. They charged me extra just to patch entry holes they had missed during the initial job. During that same visit, they claimed I now needed a vapor barrier, quoting me an astronomical $16,000--though they offered a high-pressure "$500 discount" if I signed the contract that very day. Feeling suspicious, I finally did what I should have done at the start and called three other highly rated contractors for estimates. Every single one of them came back with quotes under $7,600 (less than half of Crawl Space Clean's price), and all of them included a 3-year rodent warranty. Furthermore, the contractor I ultimately hired to install the vapor barrier pointed out that the subfloor insulation previously installed by Crawl Space Clean had inadequate support and was already sagging. We had a terrible experience with this attic company from day one. What should have been a simple…read morejob clearing and cleaning our ducts turned into repeated visits, unexpected charges, and ongoing problems that never seemed to get properly resolved. Initially, they tried to overcharge for what appeared to be a basic service. After the first visit, we continued having insulation coming through our vents, so we had to call them back. During a follow-up assessment, they claimed there were additional damages causing the issue, which led to more scheduling and more costs. Unfortunately, even after that work was completed, we still experienced insulation problems and had to contact them again. It felt like every visit resulted in new charges without real solutions. The most concerning part came after their final visit was that our heater suddenly stopped working. We brought in another vendor to assess the situation, and they identified damages to the heater, including a clogged component and poorly performed replacement work that appeared to be related to the previous service. Overall, this experience was extremely frustrating. Multiple callbacks, escalating costs, and ultimately more damage to our system are unacceptable. We would not use this company again and do not recommend trusting them with your home or HVAC/attic services.

Earlier this year I noticed a terrible smell coming from our HVAC vents. I called a few HVAC guys who could not determine the source but felt confident it was a dead animal. Obtained several quotes but Attic Solutions was the most fair in explaining their services, the clean up process and future mitigation. The 1 year warranty made it an easy choice. Also other companies gave vague quotes based on square footage which is really hard to visualize or inform of since I can't fit in my crawl space. Free inspection determined there were 2 dead possums under the house. One was petrified and old and the newer was was causing the stench. Which was removed immediately. My attic was inspected as well and given a seal of approval. A second follow up visit was scheduled to clean up all the feces, sealed points of entry with cement and chicken wire and deodorized under the house and inside the house near the vents. Traps were placed in the crawl space as well. This was very unexpected and me and my husband were traveling for work when this happened but attic solutions worked with our busy schedule and did a fantastic job communicating what they were doing every step of the way. They even reattach some HVAC pipes that had detached and were essentially not routing hot or cold air into the house. Thank you Attic Solutions. I was so stressed but you made everything better!
