However his technician came out, inspected the crawl space ONLY and quoted us 9K to rodent proof, not including Insulation and clean up. He also indicated that rodents were nesting in the crawl space and we had an infestation. My home is 2100 sq ft. Also I reached out to this company as I THOUGHT we had used their services when we initially bought the house in 2020. Our home was rodent proofed, insulation replaced and cleaned under the house and all areas sealed for $1500. Attic Green's technician was very complimentary of our home which we appreciated. However, I believe his quote was indicative of thinking we had 9K to blow on a service we already had and was familiar with. I then contacted Uriel and we discussed the quote. We had a great conversation and understood they didn't do the initial work, although I had a quote of $1700 in 2020. I reached out to the initial contractor and was quoted $2000. He indicated no infestation, no insulation needed to be replaced and he took a picture of where the open spaces were where rodents were coming in which was on top of our garage, not the crawl space. To those reading this review make sure you request multiple estimates before going with this company. This was an opportunity to gouge a customer and I was extremely offended by their quote.

I did expect more fumes from the spray foam, but surprisingly the product they use has minimal smell to it.

It was a real pleasure to work with them! The job went better than I hoped. They worked with my roofing company. After the roofing company did the tear-off, the insulation company started right away to vacuum out all the old insulation. After all the insulation was removed, they air-sealed all the penetrations (with fire-rated spray foam) and then added a fluffy R38 insulation everywhere. And this was all via the roof, not dragging hoses and insulation through the house to get access to the attic hatch. Much easier for me not to have people going inside our house all day making a mess. The roofing job was delayed for 2 days due to possible rain and they worked directly with Insul Techs to adjust the scheduling, making it all painless and seamless for me. The upshot is great customer service and work.

What really impressed me was his honesty. After checking everything, he told us that the attic looked fine and that our crawl space was dry and in good condition. Some contractors might recommend extra work just to make money, but Sean was completely honest and straightforward. He even came out and did the inspection for free, even though there ended up being no work for him to charge us for. It's not easy to find this kind of honesty and professionalism. Sean was quick, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I really appreciate that he put the homeowner's best interest first instead of trying to make a sale. I will definitely call Mr. Attic again if I ever need attic, crawl space, insulation, or rodent-proofing work in the future. Thank you, Sean!

There was a little miscommunication about an add-on service, but when you do a few hundred jobs a year a couple of them are gonna go sideways. However, crawlspaces can get moldy and wet from lack of care. If you ever encounter rodents, there is a good chance they came via the crawlspace. After all, we do hear noises at night at times, which is creepy. Jacob visited and gave a comprehensive review and estimate. We basically went for a full package of rodent control, cleaning, and installing a new vapor shield to keep it dry. The while job took maybe 2.5 days with a crew of 3 workers each day. Outstanding quality work. First phase was sealing up the homes around the house and crawlspace, and laying traps. The attic was inspected too. This was followed up with weekly followups to ensure no more rodents. This scope was subcontracted to Golden State Critter Control. Highly recommend working with Greg. The next two phases involve cleaning and eventually reinstallation of the vapor shield. Compared to what we had before, it was day and night! I also appreciated the crew alerting me to a leaky drain pipe. I later worked with a plumber to replace a cracked 3"D drain pipe that connected upstairs to downstairs. It was fixed in about 3 hours with two plumbers. Definitely recommend Crawlspace Clean for rodent control and crawlspace cleaning. 5 stars.

I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Crawl Space Clean…read moreto save others from the same costly mistake. The main issues boil down to three things: excessive pricing, sub-par workmanship, and a very short warranty period. About a year ago, I discovered a bad rodent infestation. Looking for a quick solution, I made the mistake of hiring Crawl Space Clean without getting multiple bids. I spent over $14,000 on rodent-proofing and subfloor insulation replacement, only for the rodents to return. When I called them back, I was informed that my one-year warranty had already expired. They charged me extra just to patch entry holes they had missed during the initial job. During that same visit, they claimed I now needed a vapor barrier, quoting me an astronomical $16,000--though they offered a high-pressure "$500 discount" if I signed the contract that very day. Feeling suspicious, I finally did what I should have done at the start and called three other highly rated contractors for estimates. Every single one of them came back with quotes under $7,600 (less than half of Crawl Space Clean's price), and all of them included a 3-year rodent warranty. Furthermore, the contractor I ultimately hired to install the vapor barrier pointed out that the subfloor insulation previously installed by Crawl Space Clean had inadequate support and was already sagging. Learn from my expensive lesson: always get multiple bids, and avoid this company.

Our first inspection was by Sam and was pleased on how he explained the issues we were having and confirmed that we had rodents. After sending us an estimate of the costs, we decided to check with another provider to get a competitive pricing. After reviewing we decided to go with Honest Rodent Proofing, they were clear and detailed in their statement of work and very approachable to discuss our issues. On the service day, unfortunately we had an issue where the estimate was incorrect and they missed the correct sq ft of the house. Sam was able to provide a discount and we were happy to proceed. Everyone was extremely experienced and the work was completed on my home quickly and efficiently, with everything having protective plastic sheeting all the way from my front door to the work areas. The sales rep that came out to do the initial inspection and to give a quote, was very experienced and answered all my questions. We agreed on a course of action, and I later discovered I needed additional work, and he worked with me on getting that added. The workers arrived even earlier than expected on the day they were working on our house. They clearly had all the appropriate material and machines and equipment to do the job correctly. I feel very good about everything that was done and I would definitely recommend them. Everything was left clean and there was nothing I had to do to clean up behind them. The reason I am not giving five stars (only 4 stars) is because of the paperwork having multiple errors, and they took weeks to get me the pictures of the before and after shots of the work they did. I asked them to correct some errors I found in the paperwork, and even found more errors and had to ask them a second time to correct the invoice for my records. I also questioned whether the correct insulation was put into a certain wall, because the paperwork was incorrect. It took a physical callback from a different person to physically check, and he didn't really seem to understand clearly what the problem was. I showed him pictures of the insulation rating that I took for that wall, and he was about ready to go and purchase the insulation and redo the specific wall I was questioning. But then he just called the installers and they told him they put the correct R-Rating on that wall and then he left. He clearly was not trained well enough, and I still don't know if the correct insulation was put on that wall. All the hassle of the paperwork correction and reinspection of the work was not necessary if they paid attention to details better. But other than the paperwork and questioning a specific wall, the actual work was professionally done and these guys clearly are a good professional organization. Just keep an eye on the paperwork and go over all the lines of work in the contract before you sign it. Don't rush and sign what they give you. Read every line on the contract to look for errors. As far as the value for the service and work, they were right in the price range I was expecting. Don't hesitate to use them.
