Unfortunately, even after that work was completed, we still experienced insulation problems and had to contact them again. It felt like every visit resulted in new charges without real solutions. The most concerning part came after their final visit was that our heater suddenly stopped working. We brought in another vendor to assess the situation, and they identified damages to the heater, including a clogged component and poorly performed replacement work that appeared to be related to the previous service. Overall, this experience was extremely frustrating. Multiple callbacks, escalating costs, and ultimately more damage to our system are unacceptable. But even after cleaning it out, the smell wasn't going away. Then the vent started giving off either smoke or steam, and in a panic I immediately turned off the dryer. Thank God I didn't start a dryer fire. The second I shut it off and made sure everything was ok, I opened Yelp and searched for a dryer vent cleaner. Chris's Insulation came up, he had great ratings, he was super close by, so after calling a different service and going to voicemail, I called Chris. Chris picked up after the second ring. When I told him that I needed someone to clean our dryer vent and what had happened, he said he could come out either between 5:00 and 6:00 pm that evening or the next day. It was already mid-afternoon when I called, so I was surprised to hear him say he could still come out same-day, but I decided to have him do that since I was free and also still a little shaky following what happened with the vent either smoking or steaming. Chris showed up during the window he quoted and wasted no time getting to work. He started the second he arrived and was done within the hour. His pricing was incredibly reasonable and fair and so far, in the couple of weeks since he was here, we've had no issues with the dryer. Before he left, he also sent us a ton of pictures of what the vent looked like post-cleaning. Super happy and relieved.

Then when the house was ready I called to schedule the cleaning and went over the expectations we had prior to listing the house for sale . Then they came back at $1,200+_. We felt against a wall to get the house ready and reluctantly agreed. They sent us a bill and told us they were finished. A few days later I looked at the house and notified them on some important areas that were missed. They said they would complete the following Sunday but didn't. Then they showed up after I contacted them again. One of the major items they did not clean well was the windows, a skylight that was missed, spider webs in the garage, and streaks in many windows and grout residue that looked like paint overspray. When I met them I was promised they would take care of all the issues. They stated they saw the grout issue and knew it was one of the issues they saw but failed to tell me about. I told them I would pay them now as they promised to come back to clean all the remaining items. As to the poor window cleaning, I didn't notice that till a few days later. When I called the husband of the lady I hired he made me feel like I was making things up vs offering to help out. I sent him pictures and he got defensive and rude. I let it go as to the windows. Since this is not the only toilet, removal/replace is not an emergency. Will do it on Monday. There was no additional charge for the return visit. There will be a charge to remove old/Replace which seems very fair to me. This business is now called NG Rooter and Plumbing. I had this company come to see why upstairs toilet was not flushing properly. The technician, Victor, put a hand snake into the toilet two times. Flushed and water went down, but slower than normal. I said I did not think the flush was powerful enough. Victor said, "It's old." So in less than 5 minutes, he was on his way. 5 flushes later, the toilet still has a blockage. Phone calls and text messages have been ignored. Still waiting. Victor pointed out the phone number on the invoice and said to call if I had any problems. Wonder how long it will take to get a response.
