One day we suddenly found that there were a lot of "black water" accumulated in my crawlspace, due to a leak on the sewage pipe. That was a big problem, as it's bad for both our house and the people living there. They prepared the pathway to crawlspace to minimize the contamination to the house, and worked there for 2 days, to prepare the crawlspace ready for plumber repair. I recently had the pleasure of working with Speedy Restoration to remediate mold inside my home, and I want to specifically commend Jesus for his outstanding work over the course of almost four weeks. Jesus demonstrated excellent communication skills and reassured me every step of the way, making a stressful situation much more manageable. His professionalism and dedication to the job were evident, and I felt confident in the remediation process thanks to his efforts. During the last week of the job, Jesus needed to step away from work due to a family emergency and my case was passed off to Suzy. While I understand that it probably was not easy to take over a case mid-way, her communication was lacking throughout the week, and I found myself following up with her on the progress. I was told that they would finish the work in my crawlspace on Thursday because they couldn't get me scheduled for that last part until then (4 days of missed worked). It wasn't until Wednesday night, the day before the work was to be done, that she text me saying that the work had actually already been completed and she would schedule me for "move in". I had arranged to meet her at my house on Friday at 11am to provide her payment and inspect the work. She did not show up and when I arrived at 10:45am there were already workers unloading my belonging to my house. After the workers left and I walked around the house, the house was not at all cleaned of their belongings. They had left ALL the plastic/ containment, zippers, their own tools, and even a toilet full or urine on the side of my house. It was the following week that I was contacted by Michelle from the office that they were still waiting on the last payment from me. I explained to her that Suzy did not show up to my house on Friday and that clean-up was not completed. Without communication, the workers showed up at my house to take their tools and remove the plastic. I was notified that they came by my house from my contractor who was onsite. None of this was arrange by me, nor was I told they were planning on coming by. Unfortunately, due to poor communication and my experience with Suzy after she took over the case from Jesus, I decided to have the repairs done elsewhere after the remediation was completed. While this was something I had discussed I wanted done while I was working with Jesus, I didn't know when he would be back at work and I couldn't see myself moving forward with a project and working with Suzy. While the remediation work was top-notch, the lack of clear and timely communication from Suzy regarding the next steps and repair process was disappointing. Overall, I would recommend Speedy Restoration for their remediation services, especially if you have the opportunity to work with Jesus. I was working to get help for my landlord/roommate for a patch up since they were out of town. The man who was helping me had started to make derogative statements about them and their family due to their race since he asked where they were from. This helped in my decision to call Speedy. I called Monday and was able to set up an appointment for someone to meet me the very next day. Suzy, the project manager, showed up and surveyed the problem. Suzy sent me an estimate for the work to be done, which detailed the steps from start to finish. Once I approved the estimate, they were able to start the work they very next week. Outside of a few delays, major and minor plumbing leaks were repaired first, the work went smoothly. Rafael, your message is deeply concerning, one because again ,no one ever shared any price list and the work order was a zero amount when we signed for it and even more so is that our house is only 1,162 square feet. Where you all came up with extra footage is beyond us and the crawlspace is only 3 ft deep. And the two people who did drain it where only here two hours and we were both told that only 3 truck loads were exported into the truck. The crawlspace was still full of over 2ft of water when they left. But yet again begs question, how can anyone truly charge anything if no one of authority IE Suzie or you ever showed up?
