If I could give Santos and his team at Duran Flooring six stars, I would. We brought in his team to install 1,500 sq ft of white oak flooring in our new home. The overall experience was phenomenal. Santos was incredibly transparent about pricing from the outset. Zero surprises. Not only did he and his team come in exactly on budget, they finished two days early. We strongly echo other reviews that talk about his reasonable pricing and high quality of work. Santos is an expert and a perfectionist. He doesn't miss a thing. For example, there were a couple persistent squeaks in the old flooring that couldn't be fixed with screws, so he had his team enter the crawl space to build supports with 2x4s. He and his team also do general contracting work, so we used him to patch up a doggie-door and remove cedar planking in two closest. Again, his work was top-notch. Had my entire house flooring redone, about 2,000 sqft. Whole house is now a wood based LVP and put in natural slate in the entryway, all flooring is on one level with two landings. Working with Santos was great! He was on time and well prepared when we first met for a quote. His quote was competitive when I reached out to two other contractors and he had the best value. I was also working on my ceilings and walls at the time. Santos and his team worked great with the other contractor with scheduling work around each other. Anytime something unplanned came up Santos told me right away and waited to proceed until he got my direction. He was open to various solutions and was reasonable if it was a cost add. (Examples: toilet flange was too high compare to new floor heigh. Found dry rot near sliding door). I was able to fix toilet flange and the new flooring met up to it great and he was able to repair the dry rot in my subfloor at a great price.
