This review is a long time coming. Since the first job we had David DeLima do, we had him do another job in 2022 to do the rest of the house. The second job was a nightmare. 2+ years later we have failing floors both downstairs and upstairs. Vinyl planks that were cut short were sliding out from under the baseboards. He installed quarter round (wood) molding around our bathtub instead of cutting the flooring flush - wood and water don't mix well. The entire bottom floor that was installed on concrete is missing a vapor barrier. David came back to take a look at the floor a couple of times and blamed the product not the install. Despite his assurances that he would make it right and "take care of us" he has not been responsive to our calls and texts. He says he has since gone out of business, which I'm not sure if that is true because his contractor's license is still active. At this point my wife and I are gathering our documentation and reporting him to the licensing board and will try to go after his Performance Bond that he was covered under during the installation. Let him deal with the state and not have to deal with him anymore ourselves. read more

This review is long overdue but I wanted to get most of our remodel done to get pictures that would show how beautiful a job David and his crew did. To say this was a transformation is an understatement. They turned our house into a home and fulfilled a years long dream of ours. I don't really need to say much about the work, take a look at the pictures for that! It's BEAUTIFUL! Zero complaints. We even get compliments from the delivery drivers! David is probably one of the nicest people I've met since we moved here and was so easy to work with. He offered a variety of samples to choose from and offered advice as needed. He said it would take a week, and he stuck to that, even when I asked if they could add the staircase to the job! Price was incredibly reasonable and he was honest and up front about everything as we went along. Not only do I recommend David, I plan to use him for all of the work we have in the future. My family and I love the results of the new floor that David and his guy installed in our newly purchased home. I reached out to David for a project to remove the old carpet and replace with laminate and he was able to give me a price estimate and availability for a bid within the hour. My husband messaged other contractors on YELP, but we liked David right away. Our goal was to get the floors done as soon as possible as both my husband and I were home from work due to COVID/maternity leave and David was able to accommodate us. Working with David from the consultation to installation was very easy. Communication was fast and clear and I appreciate that he made sure everything was exactly the way that we wanted it. We had about 5 bids given on our floor installation but you know how it is, who do we trust? We read up on reviews, pictures, licensing checks and all. We are so glad we chose Flooring Plus Tile. We needed our entire bottom floor vinyl tile removed and sub-floor leveled out. Flooring Plus Tile team did that starting with leveling our floors! We couldn't be happier with the installation of the new Porcelain Tile (~1000 Sq Ft). We had a lot of areas we were not happy with before the install, David took care of all of them even better than we expected. The new tile seem to make everything inside look so much better. David and Seko provided the attention to detail we totally appreciate. Dave and Seko are the best flooring tandem in the area. Our new floors are Just Beautiful! If we could give more stars we would. TILE AND STONE PLUS FLOORING Im so glad we chose TSP to do the replacement of our floor from carpet and wood to marble. My husband talked to few people but he liked TSP right away. David, the owner was easy to communicate with and is very professional and pleasant. Before they did the floor, he made few recommendations and we're glad we followed it cause our living room looks bigger now. The floor is made so polished, which shows their expertise in this job. I also wanna commend Seiko, he was always just quietly working, and clean up before he leaves. I mean aside from being excellent at what you do, the attitude towards the customers is equally important and TSP is all that. All in all, I can only say good positive things based based on our experience. Talked on the phone, confirmed appointment via text and then they no-call, no-showed. If they can't show up, no way they're getting the job.

I have been using area rugs to hide the horrible job David's Crew left me with. I brought it to their attention and David and his crew came up with an excuse of her single time. The grout lines are uneven and the spacing are all different sizes. There were so many red flags! I wish I had stopped the job when they told it will be there first time install these large porcelain tiles. We made sure to bring extra tiles so when placing the 4 different prints down The layout would look consistent across our bottoms floor. My kids have occasionally tripped on the unbalance tiles in the kitchen. David and his crew made it clear that it will be impossible to remove these once they are down. Not to mention they added base shoes to cover up the other flaws of the uneven edges on the side of the walls. Again there are so many red flags this is my fault and I will have to live with this mistake. I do not recommend David and his crew for large tiles. Beware read more

I have no issue with the installation performed by the crew. But, in spite of reviews saying David's communication is 'top notch', my experience was not wonderful. Sorry David, but my measure of professionalism is doing what you say you're going to do, when you say you're going to do it. Simple. I shouldn't learn of a scheduling issue when I reach out the week before the work is scheduled to start. Thankfully the scheduling issue resolved prior to the start of work. In addition, when you say the carpeting will be completed in one day, and it doesn't look like that will happen, shouldn't you tell me rather than leaving it to the crew to tell me?? Your response that the contract didn't specify a completion timetable is weak, and clearly an attempt to avoid responsibility. Eventually, this kind of 'customer service' will catch up with you. You may try to rebut or undermine my review, but I suggest you simply try to accept the customer's perspective, and do better going forward with other customers. read more

We were buying a house but had limited access due to the owner's schedule. David worked with me to make himself available and got me an estimate very quickly. His team was always on time, very polite (we have a baby who needs naps etc), cleaned up after themselves and really did a speedy and remarkable job. David came highly recommended by a friend who had her bathroom floors beautifully installed. We had been looking to install vinyl planks in our kitchen (on top of our current tile), as well as replace our carpeting in the family room. David was able to come by for an estimate within days of contacting him. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional - and didn't push us to complete more work than we needed. David provided a detailed written estimate a couple days later as well as recommended flooring stores and specs to look for when shopping for vinyl planks. I even texted him from the flooring store with additional questions, and he was able to address my questions immediately - and on a Saturday too! We were able to schedule the work a few days later. He and his team did an amazing job and were able to complete everything in a couple days. He was able to level the floors between the kitchen and family room with no problem even with the planks covering the kitchen tiles and the planks covering the removed carpet in the family room. We loved his work so much, we contacted him again a couple months later to replace the carpeting in our living room with vinyl planks.
