From…read morebeginning to end, our points of contact, Avi & Joseph have gone above and beyond for our project, walking us through the planning phases, permitting, design, construction and finishing work of the renovation. They were able to make a normally very stressful process almost stress-free, so much so that all I had to do was say "yes or no" when it came to key decisions. The Construction & More team took lead in the painful parts of dealing with permitting, PG&E, and subcontractors. They also got us in contact with their preferred vendors to help us with discounts on appliances, finishes and other materials we needed to purchase out of pocket. Overall, I found the Construction & More team extremely professional, transparent, organized, communicative and punctual when it came to the end-to-end process. They truly helped guide us through the process so we didn't have any surprises and helped us navigate any hiccups that came up. Normally, construction companies get a bad rap of being dishonest and trying to add in hidden fees and such, but Construction & More is a truly forthcoming and hardworking group of contractors who have your best interest at heart when it comes to your project no matter how big or small. For the process itself, we began with a consultation at our home to walk through the work we wanted the Construction & More team to do. For us, it was a full renovation which included removing a kitchen wall to create an open concept kitchen & living room, adding a mud room, expanding the master bedroom, moving the front and garage doors, as well as moving the ceilings to create a more open space. After the consultation was completed, we met with Avi & Joseph at their office to discuss an estimate and timeline for the work we needed done about (6-months time, pending no delays). Avi & Joseph respected our budget and were upfront and honest of how to stay within the budget and what were non-negotiables that we needed to get done. They really helped us understand what work was critical and what were nice to have to make our living space better. Once we agreed on the work, they promptly sent over a contract for signature, created a whatsapp group for real time communication, and next steps. Overall this initial process took about a week after negotiations and contract reviews. Once construction began, the team coordinated all the work. They made sure that all moving parts were well executed while setting a realistic timeline for the work to be done. All the subcontractors and tradesmen were effectively scheduled, where there wasn't a single day where there was no work being done. I felt that the team ensured that the construction was moving swiftly and the crew was respectful of our space. The crew made sure that our home was properly locked up and cleaned up after each day's work. Additionally, all the detailed finishing work was measured and completed with precision, where all the tiles placed were measured with a laser. As a bonus, the crew was also super respectful to our neighbors which is an extra plus! If you're considering a renovation of any size, but especially a full home renovation, I could not rave more about Construction & More. Their expertise, professionalism, thoroughness and transparency really sets them apart from the competition. I'm extremely grateful and happy with the outcome of our renovation! Good work guys!!

I called and left a message for Steve at Tri-Valley Construction, (TVC), regarding a defective…read more1/4-turn water supply line valve that needed to be replaced in our laundry room. This involved removing sheetrock, cutting pipes, installing new valves, then replacing the sheetrock, applying plaster and texture, and finally painting. This was way above my pay grade, so I reached out to Steve. Within minutes, he got back to me. He asked for photos and provided an estimate with a range, depending on the complexity of what they found. Steve sent his crew over just a few hours later to begin the project. Victor and Edgar arrived, and within minutes, the Sawzall was going to town on our wall. I'll admit, I had my reservations, but it quickly became clear that these guys knew what they were doing. Each phase required a return visit to allow the individual coats of plaster to dry, etc. Our water was only turned off for about an hour or so during the entire project, and the finished product was very good. We're now considering TVC for other projects. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

He even designed a bi-fold closet door for us, and helped pick up all the material to build it. * Bryan also took the initiative to handle several unfinished items himself, which we really appreciated. * The post-build cleaners were top-notch and left the space in pristine condition. * Throughout the project, everyone we interacted with was professional, courteous, and conscientious. There were no conflicts or issues, which made the experience comfortable for us. Areas for Improvement: * The timeline was a pain point. While we were originally told the project would take 6-8 weeks, it ended up stretching to 12 weeks. * The design process fell short of expectations. Because Prime's in-house designers weren't available, our design work was outsourced. We only received a full design package for the master bathroom. As a result, we ended up creating our own renderings for the other rooms to help communicate our vision to the team. That said, we were very happy with the design and material selections for the master bathroom they did complete. We just wish the same level of attention and design support had been provided for the rest of the project. * At times, resource availability was limited, likely due to workers being assigned to multiple jobs. This led to workflow inefficiencies and delays. Toward the end of our renovation, our foreman Bryan had to personally step in to complete several tasks, such as installing faucets, shelving, and baseboards. He managed to get it done in between site visits and meetings, which we appreciated, but it also highlighted a lack of available crew to close out the project. Despite these few challenges, the quality of the work met our expectations. We appreciated the team's effort and the final outcome.

A ~$250 charge to cut the hole in sheetrock for an electrical outlet, ~$350 charge to install and connect the outlet to the main electrical system. I lost interest at that point. May be there is a charge to turn the breaker off before installation and another charge to turn it back on. Every conceivable step was a line item. I feel sorry for the guy for going through so much trouble to even give me an estimate. I will not even consider that guy because I have no idea what this project could balloon into. He may find something wrong somewhere and all of a sudden I will have another 100 line items and 50k in additional charges. No comments about his quality of work. May be he is good. All I can say is either he is totally unrealistic about market rate of such projects (which I suspect he is not) or he inflates his rates to tells certain customers he is not interested in taking on their project.

Brandon was very easy to communicate with over the phone and by text and he came to the house multiple times to verify measurements before the actual install. He also had us over at his shop to confirm materials and paint/stain color. Fun to see the working space and tools! Amanda is truly a white glove service. While other floor companies were more concerned of measurements and just providing me a price of what the work would cost, Amanda had a full picture approach. She has the best communication even over txt. I'm a mom of 2 under 6 yr old and it's quite difficult for me to pick up the phone so txting is by far my communication of choice. Her goal was to ensure I would love the product even if I was just purchasing material from her. I went to her sample store to check out her products and she helped me find a few samples that could be a potential fit and I'm thrilled that we found the absolute perfect product! Her store has hardwood, lvp, laminate and carpet to choose from. I ordered lvp, carpet and carpet padding from her. Fairly fast shipping. She ensured smooth pick up from her warehouse. All their products really elevated my home and the hardwood to lvp-SEAMLESS!!! I would highly recommend Latta floors with your needs especially if you're a burnt out mom with kids.

We just had the entire downstairs of our home tiled with 12 inch by 24 inch travertine tiles by Roberto and his assistant. They completed the entire project from demo right through tiling and new basebaord installation. They even moved our heavy furniture pieces around. They completed the project with incredible professionalism. They cleaned up at the end of each day, kept our garage neat and tidy, and were very mindful of our personal belongings. During floor prep and tiling, they kept access/egress ways clear for us so that we did not have to vacate the home. The tile itself was installed beautifully. Roberto consulted us routinely with suggestions and even laid out several patterns for us before starting to be sure we were happy with the planned tile field. They were very knowledgable about the travertine we chose and how certain locations should be installed to avoid awkward cuts and field pieces. After reading all the Yelp Reviews, I decided to hire Roberto Enrique and his brother to do my tile project. I am very glad that I did. They did an excellent job at a reasonable price. They were on time, professional in their approach, and respectful in their attitude. I particularly appreciate the fact that they took the trouble to cover the areas not being tiled so as to protect them from the messes that can occur during a tile and grouting job. They also did a great job of clean up. Best of all they did a quality job. Their workmanship was superb. After doing some shopping around for our remodel project, we decided to go with Enriques tile and granite after getting great reviews from previous clients. Our experience with them was great!. Roberto the owner explained to us the whole process and made everything a very pleasant experience. They installed porcelain tile throughout my whole house, hardwood floors in our bedrooms. I had granite countertops for my kitchen and bathrooms, we converted our unpleasant bathtub into a luxurious shower with beautiful stone work. Needless to say Iam more than pleased with their work. I am very pleased with the work Enrique's Tile and Granite did installing tile in my patio. Roberto Enrique and his partner were very professional. Roberto carefully explained the installation issues and options before beginning work. They were punctual, arriving when they said they would. They were neat, kept a neat work place and cleaned up nicely up after the work was complete. They were meticulous, our patio is irregular in shape and they very carefully cut the tiles to fit nicely. Their work was neat and perfect, and he made suggestions to how it might work better, and he was on time and totally professional. Could not recommend him more highly!! While the craftsmanship and final installation were excellent, the experience was soured by how our materials were handled, and that they never finished the job. We specifically requested--clearly and in writing--that all remnants and offcuts be kept and returned to us. Despite this, they were discarded without notice. These were our materials, and this decision was made without our consent. Communication was poor and when we brought up our concerns, the response lacked accountability. If you choose to work with R&S, be very specific about expectations and follow up frequently. The quality of work is there, but respect for customer property and agreements was unfortunately not.

He took the time to show us the granite slabs on site and explained the differences between various types of granite and other countertop materials, including how direct sunlight can affect them in an outdoor setting. What impressed us most was how patient he was throughout the process. It took us quite a while to find a slab that we truly loved, and he never rushed us. In fact, he encouraged us to be picky and take our time selecting the right slab. He even suggested that we visit several granite suppliers. The slab we selected from a different supplier had quite a few natural fissures, and the supplier even warned us that it would require a very experienced fabricator to prevent cracking. When we mentioned that Sosa would be handling the fabrication, he immediately reassured us that we had nothing to worry about because of their expertise and reputation. After we chose our slab, Mario arranged for it to be delivered to Sosa for fabrication. The slab was slightly smaller than ideal, but Sosa carefully planned the layout to ensure everything would fit for our countertop. Before fabrication, Mario Jr. personally called us and invited us to review the layout, which gave us an idea of how our final countertop would look. Within two weeks, our granite countertop was fabricated and installed. The workmanship was excellent, the seams lined up perfectly, and the final result exceeded our expectations. This review is a long time coming. Since the first job we had David DeLima do, we had him do…read moreanother job in 2022 to do the rest of the house. The second job was a nightmare. 2+ years later we have failing floors both downstairs and upstairs. Vinyl planks that were cut short were sliding out from under the baseboards. He installed quarter round (wood) molding around our bathtub instead of cutting the flooring flush - wood and water don't mix well. The entire bottom floor that was installed on concrete is missing a vapor barrier. David came back to take a look at the floor a couple of times and blamed the product not the install. Despite his assurances that he would make it right and "take care of us" he has not been responsive to our calls and texts. He says he has since gone out of business, which I'm not sure if that is true because his contractor's license is still active. At this point my wife and I are gathering our documentation and reporting him to the licensing board and will try to go after his Performance Bond that he was covered under during the installation. Let him deal with the state and not have to deal with him anymore ourselves.
