Etched counter tops.

Our granite leather countertop was installed in a vacant rental and we went to see work that their plumber fixed and noticed an etched mark on the countertop. They send someone to repair but it didn't work. It's been almost 4 days and no one has contacted me to fix it. I believe it wasn't sealed at installation. That's the only thing I could figure. Waiting for Sosa!!!

New large island.

Sosa Granite did my parent's and brothers' houses with granite here in Discovery Bay years ago. We just had our kitchen done last month and we knew we wanted quartz again. We previously had Cambria Quartz and there was nothing wrong with it, we just wanted to update our kitchen with a different color and larger island. Sosa had the quartz we wanted in stock, so our kitchen was done within 3 days. They took down our pony wall and now we have a big island. They also installed a new sink, faucet, and cooktop. They cleaned up each day, showed up on time, and were very professional. Beautiful showroom in Livermore. Their employees do all the work. We are planning on Sosa to remodel our master bath, guest, and laundry room counters. I want to be grout-free. Check them out, you will be happy you did.

Kitchen Quartzite counters and new faucet

Amazing Amazing Amazing!!! I never do reviews but thought it necessary to acknowledge this company and their workers. I would hire this company again in a heart beat! Extremely pleased with the end result! We had our master bath and kitchen remodeled. In our master bath they supplied our quartz counter top and sinks. In the kitchen they supplied our quartzite counter top, sink, and kitchen faucet. They did the fabrication and install of all countertops and sinks. Quality material & Top notch workmanship! Easy to work with and great communication! I would highly recommend them! Always prompt about answering any questions I had to put me at ease. They are there to help in any capacity and to be sure the end result is a HAPPY CUSTOMER!!! Like me!

Granite fabrication and install

Huge thank you to Jr for all his help getting my granite chosen, fabricated, and installed. I've been meaning to write this review a few months now, but we are still doing finish work on the kitchen and house (ourselves). These pics will have to work for now, not completely finished with this remodel project but the granite is finished. 18 years in this home, dreaming of this kitchen remodel one day. Sosa made this so easy, and their work is top notch. Very professional, great installation crew. With so much to choose from out there, it was hard to choose, but I love the granite look and Jr was great in supporting and creating what image was in my head come to life. We got our granite from Arizona tile right next to Sosa, we chose blue galaxy, they have great quality materials and prices also. This was a big project with the amount of granite for the counter tops, water fall huge island, and full backsplash. I love love love how it turned out, worth the wait for sure! I took my time checking out different companies, fabricators, and stone stores all over the Bay Area. My gut instinct, also the way Jr made us feel comfortable, not pressured helped us make the decision to go with Sosa months later when we were ready for the install. I definitely would recommend this company, and would use them again in the future. Treated us like family, very knowledgeable, quality product fabrication and install, at a good price. Keep in mind good quality does not come at the cheapest price around when you are shopping for your remodel. Sincerely, a happy customer.

This is the second time we have called upon Sosa to upgrade our kitchen. Mario Jr., is a total professional with many artistic views and suggestions to help you plan the remodeling process. With his assistance we chose a beautiful granite. He was able to schedule this prior to Thanksgiving, which was so nice and exciting for us. The crew arrived and accomplished the work perfectly and the result was an absolutely elegant kitchen, night and day result! Looks like a million dollars! Thank you again Mario Jr., and thank you to the excellent crew who are all professionals. If we need anything else done around the house we just bought again, we will call SOSA again. We highly recommend them.

We are so impressed by Sosa! They were professional and helpful every step of the way for our kitchen remodel. Marissa took the time to understand our vision and pulled materials that were exactly what we were looking for. We decided to add the backsplash after our counters were already installed and they were diligent about being sure the material matched our counters for a seamless look. Every step of the way, from planning to design to installation, was handled professionally and efficiently. I cannot recommend them enough- if you are planning a remodel- definitely use Sosa!!

New sink, faucet, countertop and backsplash.

Sosa just finished installing kitchen countertops, and a backsplash, and we couldn't be happier with the entire process. During our initial design consultation the office staff was extremely helpful, offering suggestions and alternatives without being pushy. All of the workmen we dealt with where very professional and polite, and were very meticulous, with a high attention to detail. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to a friend!

The old kitchen was gutted to the studs and ceiling was raised to give a more open feeling. Everything here is brand new.

We wanted to get our home ready for our newborn baby, so having everything come together and be finished on time was really important to us. From the beginning, communication was easy, and the team did a great job listening to our ideas and making sure the details from our original design plans were carried through. The kitchen fabrication turned out beautiful, and you can really see the attention to detail in the finished work. We also really appreciated that the pricing was affordable and that the project stayed on schedule. Avi and Joseph were our project managers, and they helped make the whole process go smoothly. Having a remodel done can be stressful, especially when you're preparing for a new baby, but we felt good about the work being done and loved seeing everything come together. Overall, we're really happy with how our kitchen and bathroom turned out. Between the quality of the work, easy communication, reasonable pricing, and finishing on time, we would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to remodel their home!

The communication, timeliness, and finish quality was just not there with our project…read more I'm not sure if this is because of a deficiency in project management, or because of the poor contracting. From the beginning, we were never given a good sense of timeline and when parts of the project were to be completed. Contractors would not show up on days when we were told they would come, and they would randomly show up on days where we were not given any warning and we had to be at work. The contractors that came to spray texture on the walls showed up at 7pm on a Friday night. We felt bad they had traveled so far and so late, but amazed that nobody had thought to communicate their arrival to us. Because the contractors would show up at random times and complete random parts of the project, we were always being forced to rush order parts that we didn't have on hand. This included a dishwasher air gap, a garbage disposal, and the cabinet handles. As professionals, why wouldn't they have a list of required finishes for all their customers? There were also just other instances of poor management. They miscalculated how much slab we needed, so they charged us extra for that as well. The handles on the cabinets were badly misaligned, and looked like nobody had measured the distances to the edges of the cabinets. We had to ask for this to be fixed. There was a missing finished edge on the cabinet end by the dishwasher, which we also had to ask to be fixed. We had to ask for so many basic things like having our window screen reinstalled and the window lock reattached 2 weeks AFTER the final inspection passed. If the final inspection is done already, there's no more excuses for delays in finishing a project. There was no final walkthrough once everything was done. We just noticed that one of the cabinet faces has a huge scratched up area where it looks like someone colored it in with a crayon. Shouldn't this sort of damage be disclosed to your customer without us having to scrutinize? In conclusion, if you look at the work from a distance, it's up to code and done fine. The whole experience has been so dragged out, however, that at this point we can't even be bothered with calling out the weird crayon thing.

He asked for photos and provided an estimate with a range, depending on the complexity of what they found. Steve sent his crew over just a few hours later to begin the project. Victor and Edgar arrived, and within minutes, the Sawzall was going to town on our wall. I'll admit, I had my reservations, but it quickly became clear that these guys knew what they were doing. Each phase required a return visit to allow the individual coats of plaster to dry, etc. Our water was only turned off for about an hour or so during the entire project, and the finished product was very good. Overall, the project went well, and we're happy with the final results. Bryan, our foreman, was a strong asset to the project. Even though he was managing multiple jobs at the same time, his responsiveness and willingness to go out of his way to address our concerns made a big difference. Because we were home throughout the process, we were able to catch issues early and communicate them directly to Bryan, who consistently followed through to resolve them. What Went Well: * The tile and flooring subcontractors were excellent - their craftsmanship and attention to detail truly stood out. * Bryan, our foreman, was responsive to texts and phone calls, listened to our concerns, and made sure they were addressed. He even designed a bi-fold closet door for us, and helped pick up all the material to build it. * Bryan also took the initiative to handle several unfinished items himself, which we really appreciated. * The post-build cleaners were top-notch and left the space in pristine condition. * Throughout the project, everyone we interacted with was professional, courteous, and conscientious. There were no conflicts or issues, which made the experience comfortable for us. Areas for Improvement: * The timeline was a pain point. While we were originally told the project would take 6-8 weeks, it ended up stretching to 12 weeks. * The design process fell short of expectations. Because Prime's in-house designers weren't available, our design work was outsourced. We only received a full design package for the master bathroom. As a result, we ended up creating our own renderings for the other rooms to help communicate our vision to the team. That said, we were very happy with the design and material selections for the master bathroom they did complete. We just wish the same level of attention and design support had been provided for the rest of the project. * At times, resource availability was limited, likely due to workers being assigned to multiple jobs. This led to workflow inefficiencies and delays. Toward the end of our renovation, our foreman Bryan had to personally step in to complete several tasks, such as installing faucets, shelving, and baseboards. He managed to get it done in between site visits and meetings, which we appreciated, but it also highlighted a lack of available crew to close out the project. Despite these few challenges, the quality of the work met our expectations. We appreciated the team's effort and the final outcome.

There have been multiple unresolved issues with the quality of work and follow-through. One example is an LED light that continues to flicker. It has been more than six months, with many calls and text messages, but the issue still has not been fixed. Another example is damage to our garage cabinet, where a hole was created during the work. We are still waiting for this to be repaired as well. Overall, the lack of timely resolution and poor communication after the project has been extremely frustrating.
