Initially had a good experience. People who came out and installed our countertops did a great job. That being said things went downhill after. We had about 2k worth of leftover marble from the project and were told we could pick it up. Multiple trips there and they weren't able to locate it or that the person who knew where it was was mysteriously not there. I had a marble table that broke and planned to have them make a new surface for it so I was told to bring it down and they could do it once they find the material. At this point my emails get ignored, my phone calls started getting screened (I know this because my wife called from a different number immediately after me and they picked up), and I still have no materials nor the table legs. I was sent to Everlasting by our landscaper to choose stone for our built in BBQ. Although the stone she had did not work for my BBQ it was perfect for other areas of our remodel. I found stone elsewhere but had it all sent to Everlasting for fabrication and install. Gina was VERY helpful in laying the template for the best look. I have been very happy with Everlasting Surfaces from start to finish. They were the assigned contractor for our Quartz countertops from Floor and Decor. Even the quoted timeline was right on. Fabian did the measurements, and Jose, Julio, and Orlando did the install. All the pieces fit exact, including one top with a tricky line, and the guys took their time to ensure everything was level and flat. Purchased countertop through Floor & Decor and both subcontracted Hauspro and Everlasting are terrible. Where to begin... 1. They mixed up the date of install so I had to email them to remind them of the correct date (I have the email string to prove it). 2. When they did get here, I asked them to wear booties as I am 9-months pregnant and not only do I not want dirt to track in the house, but also I don't have a lot of energy to clean up after them. After the guy assured me that he would lay down the tarp and wear booties, only one thing was done -- the tarp. No booties. Ever. 3. With up to 6 crew members inside the house standing around my gas range, no one communicated with me on what's needed. Seeing them confused, I asked and they said they can't install the countertop without uninstalling the gas range, which they don't know how to do. I immediately put my contractor on speaker who let them know that they can just PULL OUT the slide-in gas range. The installation manager acknowledged and hung up the phone -- only for them to NOT pull out the range and leave the countertop uninstalled. 4. They tried to blame the plugged in range as the issue for why they couldn't install the larger countertop. The real issue is the countertop was not precisely so when they put it on, the side touching the wall simply didn't touch. 5. How did I come to find they were leaving for the day, leaving the job unfinished? They started kicking up the tarp, closing the front door, and driving off...!! The only communication I got was "no, we can't put back the kitchen faucet" and "maybe we come back tomorrow". Imagine my surprise when I had to call the office to find out they were not coming back. I have never witnessed such poor installation service, let alone customer service. No communication the entire time of what is going on, what issues were coming up, what to expect as next steps... anything! All I asked was to be updated and none of that happened until I had to call the office multiple time myself. The pictures show how they left my kitchen. This includes the damage they've done to my new cabinets. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Read the other reviews by Pam, Christine, Ginger, and Sunshine... this is not a fluke. When they arrived to do the install the measurements weren't right but they were quickly able to get another slab delivered and make it happen. Their office staff were very patient and helpful as we struggled with deciding on which quartz material and design we wanted. They represent several leading quartz suppliers (more than we saw anywhere else) and also gave us the information on where we could go to see full sheets of Quartz material which was very helpful. We were also able to bring samples home. Once we decided they were very fast in scheduling the installation the next week and it was all done in one day. The installers were prompt, efficient, professional, and pleasant. The fit on the counters and back splash were right on! We couldn't be more happy with Everlasting Surfaces. I should mention that their pricing was significantly less for the same materials and job than all the home stores and Costco and we didn't have to wait for any special sales either. read more

Beware of Everlasting Surfaces in Livermore! We went to MSI with our designer to select and purchase three slabs for our kitchen remodel. After careful consideration and inspection we chose three slabs of quartzite. Once the time came to have the slabs cut we made an appointment to go to Everlasting to approve the layout. After waiting an hour past our appointment time they finally lead us outside to see the templates on the slabs. It was at this time we noticed two of the slabs had MAJOR damage. One had a major crack down the middle, another was pitted with areas of additional cracking. (Pictures attached.) Everlasting first said that they arrived that way... (So how can you accept delivery of severely defective slabs?!) The company failed to take any responsibility for the damage. We have filed a claim with the CSLB (California State License Board). CSLB complaint: In June of 2020 we went to MSI to pick out quartzite slabs to fabricate our kitchen counter tops. We went with our designer so that the slabs would be consistent with the other parts of the kitchen. After we chose 3 slabs of Midnight Fusion we contracted with Everlasting Surfaces to buy the slabs and fabricate the countertops. Everlasting Surfaces purchased the slabs on July 1, 2020. Although we had the renovation plans complete before we found the slabs, the permitting process took a long time because this was the beginning of the pandemic. We had to wait months to get all of the approvals and then we had to revise the plans because of mistakes with the initial engineering drawings. It took months to approve the revised plans. We began construction in January of 2022. In June of 2022 the contractor told us he was ready to have the templates for the countertops made. Everlasting Surfaces made the templates. The following week we went to decide where to put the templates on the slabs. When they brought out the slabs we saw that one of them was broken and the other two were damaged. The people helping us told us that two of the slabs were unusable but the third might be usable. Since the slabs are made of natural stone and the patterns are unique and we needed three slabs to make all of the counter tops we asked for our money back. We were told that since it had been two years since the slabs were purchased that they would not refund our money because the contract we signed had a time limitation. They finally admitted that there is no time limitation in the contract. In addition they never told us that there was any problem storing the slabs in spite of the fact that they had both our phone number and email address. Next Everlasting Surfaces contacted MSI and found that there were 2 remaining slabs of Midnight Fusion and offered to pay half of the cost of the additional slabs. In spite of the fact that they wanted us to pay half the cost of the new slabs even though they broke the original slabs we went with our designer to see if the new slabs would work. Since the slabs were from a different lot the patterns were very different from the original slabs and in addition the new slabs were scratched. Since this compromise wouldn't work we asked for our money back again. I tried to reach Nancy Bishop at Everlasting Surfaces but always got someone else and she never returned my calls. Since Nancy Bishop wouldn't return my calls and our kitchen renovation was stopped until we could get countertops we went with our designer to buy new slabs. The countertops have been fabricated from the new slabs and have been installed. read more

The slab I ordered was not enough to cover all my backsplash area, they cut two small pieces for me and stacked them on one side wall. It looks seamless! Orderd the granite from them. They did not measure the sink area correctly so now we can't get the sink installed correctly. So if you do use them make sure that you check their work even though you're paying all kind of money for them to do it. We hired them because they came recommended by a friend, we have done everything by phone and email. We have filled out their form with specific info on the job. We also have sent them measurement, a 3D drawing and photos of our outdoor kitchen that they are to install granite on. I even sent in a video as an added thing so to reduce any misunderstanding of the space and job to be done. When their install guy came in to measure, I had my 2 kids running around so when he was asking me all these questions that were already answered he got an attitude and acted like a big deal that I needed to go back in the house and asked if he can just call the office to get the info. He left without saying goodbye!!! They act like they have no idea what we have and what we need. After signing the contract with them I did not hear from them for weeks. Bad communication. And to top it all off, I called in today to get the ETA on the install date they got an attitude with me! They have a long wait and bad customer service.....we haven't gotten the granite installed yet and I am wondering if the job is even going to be done correctly or will be have trouble and rudeness all over again. Communication is awful and I just pray they do a good job on the install. I may update this review if things change. read more

My counter tops were installed today. I cannot emphasize how amazing they were! I live in Livermore and I wanted a local company. Communication was easy and the workmanship was excellent. I was hoping to save my back splash and they removed my old granite without issues. You would never know where the seems are if you didn't already know where to look. The workers were polite, did a great job cleaning up and made sure they asked to be certain they were doing things the way I wanted. I bought my quartzite slabs in Oakland. I took my amateurish sketch and measurements in and showed them to Nancy, and she was able to give me an estimate in minutes, not days (like every other fabricator) It took me about one minute to decide that they were head and shoulders above the others. The template maker showed up and understood exactly what we wanted and even made some amazing improvements and suggestions. We went to the shop and got to pick out exactly the pieces we wanted on each counter. The finishing work is so precise and perfect that it looks like I have a brand new kitchen. When it came time to do my kitchen, I was happy to see that they were the most reasonable of the three estimates that I got. Horatio and Charlie installed my (quartz) kitchen countertops today and I was very impressed with the quality of their work. Their attention to detail was awesome. They are masters of their trade. I only had one seam and Horatio did a great job on it; you almost can't tell it's there. Slight room for improvement on communicating template and installation times; it would have been nice to have more than 24 hours notice on the installation time, but I don't want that comment to tarnish the review because overall I am very happy. read more

The entire team were friendly, professional and extremely careful with not just the granite, but my home as a whole. Their attention to detail during installation was amazing and the fabrication work (bull nosing, rounding edges in the sinks etc) had the attention to detail we were hoping for. I got my stone from Formation Stone (really great company) Aside for a scheduling hiccup I had a good experience with this company. From the start to the finish, Nancy was great with Customer Service, and the installation team, led by Horatio, did excellent work. This is one of the worst business I have ever come across. My own experience in hiring this company was my ultimate prove and warning to potential customers, do not sign any contracts with this company. Here are some of my reasons due to my own experience. I was given a different quote from what I was first given. Owner (Alvira Romero) manually falsified the contract she gave me. She was rude and ridiculously shameless in trying to hide in her own office, while telling her employees to send us off. She would not answer my phone calls to explain why she would be adding the costs in question (strange marginal calculations and miscalculated added fees). The crew that came out to install the granite, cracked part of the granite and tried to hide it from us. Then later, blaming it on our 'mishandling' of a hard-rock slab after just 48 hours. Plus, the team that hardly spoke any English (one of which was hitting on my wife) scratched a large portion of our brand new Brazilian hard-wood floor. This small project ended up costing us lots of money (although we were being tricked in getting a special discount), lots of energy wasted in anger and disappointments. In short, do not sign any contract with this sketchy company that employs a whole bunch of unqualified illegals, does not take care of customer issues once a check has been endorsed, this kind of unprofessionalism and rudeness is unacceptable. Now, a few years later, our granite had to be replaced. One for the crack (which got only bigger with time) second, it was never sealed (although we paid for a lifetime sealer) - I can not say enough in here of this horrible and costly experience that I have ever made with any business. This place is a scam and more so a dangerous place to do business with. The stealing of money they are making 'legal' will only come back to haunt at this sketchy owner. read more

We had the unfortunate experience of working with this place for countertop fabrication and installation. It's one of two businesses in the area, so no real competition. When we went to pick out the material, the two front desk women were really unhelpful. They sent us to Arizona Tile to view a larger slab of sample, only to find out that Arizona tile doesn't carry any slabs of that brand! So first off I thought that was careless of them to not know that. They basically take all the fabrication orders from Arizona Tile so they should know better. When we decided on a countertop, we set up an appointment for installation. We had remodelled our kitchen, so when they asked if we wanted the same material on the window ledge over the countertop, we weren't sure and they said we could decide later. We decided to go with a ledge, but nobody communicated this to the installers, who came three times and only installed the countertop. I called and spoke to Nancy, the manager, who had a very cavalier "not my fault" attitude, which I did not appreciate. We had been charged for the ledge, and she called to collect the payment without having done the work, or even confirming whether the work had been done. I informed her of this and she half apologised, then proceeded to avoid my calls, calling my husband instead and sending her minion to call back. Very unprofessional and immature. Another front desk staff, Mary, took the blame for the miscommunication and said she had "left work early all week." Well, shouldn't you make sure your work is done? And Nancy, as manager, should stay on top of customer service requests? I do not understand how these people keep their jobs. I had read decent reviews of this place and chose them over their competitor, Sosa. However, I would NOT recommend doing business with them. They are careless and took four attempts to install a simple countertop, requiring a ridiculous amount of time and travel for my husband and I to check on the installation. The business is unprofessional and customer service is laughable. read more
