Last year we used BD construction to do a complete home remodel. No room in our home was left untouched. Popcorn ceilings were removed, new windows and sliders were put in, our exterior was re-stuccoed, lighting was installed, living room cabinets were painted, and our old linoleum floors were replaced with beautiful wood-look tile. Brandon and his team built us a walk-in pantry and completely remodeled our laundry room, kitchen, and two and a half baths. BD also redid the ceiling in our mancave, complete with insulation that has turned the room from an oven in the summer into a comfortable space. Brandon was awesome about communicating throughout the process, we were comfortable having him in our home, and we are so happy with how our home turned out! We were a big job that continued to grow, as we ended up adding on quite a few more projects as we went. Brandon and his team stuck with us and made it happen. It took us two years of searching and interviewing contractors until we found Brandon. After meeting with him, we knew that he was the person to help us transform our home. He has been great about coming back to address minor issues, and we have another small project that we are looking forward to working on with him this year. Give him a call, we're so glad we did!

This review is well overdue. Brandon did an amazing job at our home remodel. It was a huge project and he handle everything with stride. He always made sure we felt comfortable with the process and would keep us updated along the process. We will definitely be using his company for future projects and highly recommend his company. His work is top quality and he made sure we were happy with the finished product.

We looked at several different contractors in the Dublin area and ended up choosing BD Construction after an in-home consultation and competitive bid. They were slightly over the competition in terms of price but this was worth every penny and showed in the quality of their work. During the sales process Brandon was attentive and maintained that attention after the sale and throughout the course of the project up to completion. They managed the process well and were very honest throughout. BD took extra time to explain to us options and had some great input on key decisions for the renovation. During the project they found plenty of opportunities to add value that went beyond our expectations. We can't say enough great things about Brandon (and Tony!). We love our new kitchen and working with BD Construction was incredibly easy. Definitely plan on using BD Construction for future projects! Thanks again :) !

After interviewing over a handful of contractors and business to do our kitchen remodel, we decided to take our chances with Brandon. We do not regret that decision. He knows what he's talking about, what he's doing and does great quality work. He is also very easy to get along with, approachable and flexible (we had quite a bit of add ons/changes and he managed to squeeze each request in). On top of the kitchen remodel, 2 load bearing walls were knocked down, ceiling heights were raised, all walls were retextured, new hardwood flooring installed throughout house, LED lights with dimmer installed in every room, and custom window and door trim. As a bonus, he had a cleaning lady come at the end of the project! I would highly recommend Brandon to anyone looking to do a remodel! Thanks for our HGTV kitchen!

Our beautiful bathroom remodel Brandon and his team did for us. Could not be happier.

When faced with trying to find a contractor for our bathroom remodel we were having a really hard time finding someone who could make our vision into reality. My wife had a very detailed idea of exactly what she wanted. Not only did Brandon and his team nail what she had in mind they also did it on time and on budget. Brandon will always answer your calls or texts and is very prompt. I highly recommend his work and cant say enough good things about his team.

BD Construction just finished a remodel on our 40 year old bath tub. We had them remove a old fiberglass tub, taking everything down to the studs, and then rebuild a beautiful new walk in shower. The quartz finish is beautiful and the attention to detail was refreshing! Brandon and Tony were a pleasure to have in our home and they renewed our confidence in contractors. Brandon returned promptly to address a few minor details and we would (and do) recommend them to friends and family.

Brandon was great to work with. One of the few contractors I have ever dealt with that actually had great communication. Told us where we were at and what to expect in the upcoming days all throughout the project. He did a magnificent job and we were very happy with the results. We gave him a budget to work within and told him what we wanted done. He made great suggestions and kept us in range. We even added a few things mid project and he just rolled with the punches. Would highly recommend him to others.

Love the J&K silent close cabinets!

The dust has finally settled! I just want to give a big shout out to BD Construction for the exquisite work they did on our kitchen. From designing, budgeting and working on a plan, Brandon and his amazing team made this remodel an easy and stress-free one. I cannot even begin to reiterate the many times he paid extra attention to making sure his crew was respectful of our space. Cleaning up every day after the mess from the construction, sending those darling cleaning ladies, paying careful attention to the quality of work and details from other workers, having us and our needs always a top priority and most especially always bringing in a positive and "can do" attitude with his adorable daughter who's really the big boss. I cannot say enough praises. This is the kitchen I've always wanted. I can't wait to do the next remodel project with you! #GoProFoodie

Kitchen remodelling is one of the most intricate and very detailed oriented task to tackle. It is…read morethe heart of the house. Being said and before you decide to do kitchen remodelling, make sure you have the time to work closely with your contractor! I worked closely with KF from the design to execution throughout the completion of the project. Let me share my experience with KF in details. Working with their sales rep was a smooth process. We worked with Dean through the selection of cabinets, floors, countertops, sink and faucet. Then here comes the selection of appliances. We shopped around and selected the appliances we will put in our kitchen and then gave the details to KF to incorporate it into the layout of the kitchen. A layout and a 3D model was made for review to visually see how the new layout of the kitchen will look like. This is where the critical part of the work needing your attention. Make sure to check the clearances provided for the appliances are all correct. The designer did not check the size of stove we will use. Mistake was made to our layout. We didn't catch the mistake as well and drawings got released for final approval. Then the execution, demolition to our kitchen took place as scheduled. 2 guys came in to remove all the old cabinets, countertops and appliances. It was a 3 day process to demolish and clear the debris. Prepare the walls for new construction. The electrical work. One electrician started to put new outlets and upgrade our electrical sub panel. This is where it got tricky because the new location of our panel is still part of the walk-in closet. The city inspector pointed out it is against the building code to relocate an electrical panel from a closet to a walk-in closet. The good thing was I was able to divide the walk-in closet into two rooms. I contructed a wall to divide this room into a storage where the new electrical panel is located and a separate walk-in closet. I did this work myself because it was not part of the contract. It will be an additional cost if I have KF do this work! The intallation of the cabinets! This is where we discovered the layout was incorrect. The clearance made for the stove is 36 inches, we ordered 30 inches stove. The location of the cabinet for the garbage was wrong too. KF ended up replacing 5 cabinets at their own expense to correct the layout. Make sure that during this process you check every position and clearances for your appliances are correct. This your final check before countertop measurement! The measurement of countertops and backsplash. A guy came in to make a template for the countertop and backsplash for fabrication. The process is to measure and install countertop first and then measure and install the backsplash. Make sure to check the level and squareness of the backsplash and countertop. I checked the backsplash and it was out of square. I have them corrected it on the spot! This is a very critical process and very expensive to correct if installed incorrectly. The installation of new flooring. I picked LVF to replace our carpet and hardwood. There is only one type of floor we use for the entire house. This went very smoothly and efficient. The worker even show up on Saturday to do the work. He knows how inconvenient for the owner is to move things around to clear the areas to install new flooring. Kudos to this worker who did our floor. The installation of appliances. It went smoothly except the anti tipping bracket of the stove was not properly place to capture one foot of the range. I went back and forth with the installer to correct it but I ended up correcting it myself to get approval from the city. The final touches. Ensure you are there and inspect every square inch of the cabinets and walls. You have to point out to the workers to put caulking on every holes you see. KF workers were not very thorough on their final touches. The final inspection. This is where the city will come in to inspect the electrical work, the wall I constructed, the undersink cabinets and do some testing on new circuits of the kitchen. Check and check their work. If you are not satisfied with their work. Make them correct it. This is your only time to tell them to correct things you are not satisfied. For example I have them replaced the valve of the faucet where one of the hoses has tight bend. Check fittings for leaks. This is very important! As I elaborated above, KF has the means to do the work. The coordination with their project manager was not very proactive. You need to make many follow ups to get the work done. Some days have no work activities. A couple of days they worked upto 8 in the evening! Overall I am happy with the result of their work but I also spent many hours to work with them. At the end of the day, it is you who will live in the house and it's your kitchen! When it comes to cost and the hours I spent working with them, the overall cost of this project was expensive.

They all wanted to just paint them. I wanted them restored to the original finish if at all possible. We paid a lot for these custom cabinets 20yrs ago and really wanted them to be restored to look the same. Michael came out to look at them and told me he has never tried to do work like this before but he was willing to try and felt pretty confident he could do it. If we didn't like it we could always paint them after. It was a risk I decided I wanted to take. We could not wait any longer. 2 of our most used cabinets were severely damaged with water damage - one from a hand towel that had been hanging on it for 20 yrs that would often get damp from hand washing and the other our silverware drawer. They removed all of the damaged cabinet & drawer doors (leaving behind about half of them that had no damage as they were less often used and still looked brand new) and took them to their shop in Livermore. This made the job much harder as they then had to match the color to our existing ones. In addition our kitchen has 2 different paint colors so they had to create 2 different finishes - one a stain and one a paint. Linda, an employee of Michael was in charge of the painting and stain work and the artist who did the work on my cabinets in their factory. She showed us photos along the way and then came back out to reinstall the doors plus also repair the water damage we had on baseboards and cabinet sides that weren't able to be removed. She taped everything off in our kitchen to prep and then spent 2 days refinishing all of the rest of the damage. She was very careful and caused zero problems anywhere around her work. The finished product was absolutely 5 stars - could not have gone any better. I have delayed for way too long giving Michael and Linda credit for the work she did but the benefit to that is that I can now say after over a year (finished Sept 2024) of having the refinished cabinets in my kitchen they have held up perfectly and still all look absolutely brand new (helps not having kids living at home anymore!) I would 100% recommend you to trust Michael and his team to be honest, hard working and skilled crafts people for your cabinets. I was so impressed with him, his business, Linda, and all of their work. Thank you Michael & Linda!

Bought a $729 toilet here, couldn't get it to fit in place and they wouldn't take it back!! When I went to return it they asked me if I placed it on the wax ring and I said "yes" because I had a helper and thought he'd already placed it, but that wasn't the case. The base was free and clear of wax. On my first attempt without the wax ring, I realized I couldn't get the bolts into the slots in the floor fitting because the bolts are inside a hole in the porcelain base of the toilet and the walls on each side of the toilet leave no room to bend my wrist and get the bolts in. At that point I realized it was impossible and decided to return it. When I returned it, they asked if I had put it on the wax ring and I said yes initially, because I thought my friend had tried seating it, but he hadn't. So I returned 2 days later with the toilet, told them it hadn't been seated on the wax and they still refused to take it. Also asked me if I had the box and when I told them "no" they restated that they can't take. The box it comes in is well-made of heavy cardboard and put together with heavy staples. It's made to keep the product safe during shipping. No one can't take that box apart and keep it intact for reassembly!! It wasn't meant to be disassembled and reassembled!! Using the box as a "no return" item tells me these two guys are a pair of "scheisters". Stay away from this place and take your business elsewhere!!! No one arrived for the appointment, and I did not receive any notification or call to cancel or reschedule. The Service Manager has also not responded to multiple calls or texts. This level of follow-up is unacceptable, particularly for a company that promotes a lifetime guarantee on parts and installation. I have made multiple attempts to reach someone to schedule this simple repair, yet the only time I have been able to reach anyone directly was during the initial sales process.
