We found Mez when we were doing a full remodel of our home. We're so glad we did! He was able to walk us through the entire process and was very helpful in explaining everything down to every detail. He even supplied us with initial drawings and sketched and it was so helpful. We worked with multiple different vendors throughout our remodel and Mez was great in working alongside them with our timeline. We are so happy with the end result and how it turned out. It truly turned our kitchen/wet bar as the favorite part out of the entire remodel. I thought the pricing was very fair for the amazing quality and service we were able to get. Thanks Mez! read more

Once he'd delivered the cabinets to my home, he worked with my contractors to ensure they were installed correctly, and came back multiple times to touch up their work, made sure every drawer rolled smoothly and every shelf was exactly how I wanted it. I am representing a seller of a condo in Rockridge and needed a good quality cabinet contractor to quickly install a closet in a primary bedroom. I found the Shaker Cabinet on Yelp and met w/ Mehrzad at his business. Mehrzad was great to collaborate with and was able to meet my deadline. The install went well and was completed in just 1 day. The quality of the cabinets showed. Linen cabinetry w/ Blum drawer slides and soft close. And the cost was reasonable. I'm very pleased w/ the results and would highly recommend his business. Mez made a fantastic job of my kitchen remodel. He is so knowledgeable and was able to come up with an amazing design around an awkward support post, creating a seating area. If you get Mez for your cabinets, you have the very best- no exaggeration. We really wanted to change our honey oak kitchen cabinets to white without remodeling the whole kitchen. We also didn't want to just have them punted, then have them wear quickly over the next couple of years. So... Mez re-faced them with shaker style cabinet door and drawer faces. We can't say enough about how much this changed our kitchen- incredible! Mez is a professional and an absolute craftsman. The work is top shelf and finished with details in mind. Not to mention, he's a super knowledgeable, nice guy to talk to during the process. read more

We found Mez + Shaker Cabinet after assessing many (many) pre-fabricated cabinet options for our mini kitchen remodel. We thought we couldn't check the boxes on cabinets that were high quality, custom to our non-traditional layout, and at a reasonable price, but we were wrong! Mez was very flexible with our endless decision changes and made recommendations based on his extensive experience. We ended up replacing the doors on our existing cabinets and building new boxes for the other wall in our kitchen. His price was very fair and construction was much faster than we anticipated. He's also a delight during the install -- Mez seemed to personally invest in our kitchen layout, even removing cabinetry around our refrigerator (not included in our design!) to make it easier for our contractor. His work was thorough and meticulous, and he even returned shortly after the initial install to touch up paint and replace a drawer face. We wouldn't hesitate to work with Mez again on another project! read more

Shaker Cabinet worked with us to design and build stylish new cabinets in our kitchen, and we could not be more pleased with the results. Mez's knowledge and experience during the design process were invaluable. He helped us understand the pros and cons of numerous options we were considering, from the size of drawers to paint color, wood selection and the location of appliances. He then worked closely with the general contractor and the granite countertop installation company to ensure everything came together perfectly in the end, even slightly modifying certain features to accommodate unexpected issues. The quality of Mez's cabinets is amazing. Drawers and doors are strong and work perfectly, built to last for many years. We are particularly pleased with the stained walnut cabinet doors which highlight our central cabinets, one of Mez's many recommendations which turned out beautifully. Throughout this process Mez has been a dedicated partner, honest and enthusiastic about the details which make so much difference in the end. Mez and Shaker Cabinet have our highest recommendation for stunning cabinets which will last for generations. read more
