We hired Ogee to re-face our kitchen cabinetry on our new build home. We bought the home with new IKEA cabinetry and wanted to upgrade to a natural and heavier duty material. We significantly upgraded (see photos) working with Ogee. Since the cabinetry was brand new, we came up with a design plan to re-use the boxes and re-face all of the surfaces (drawers, doors, side and back panels). Jasper showed up to measure each detail of the boxes so that everything would fit exactly. He did a phenomenal job of planning out how the White Oak grain would run seamlessly on all of the drawers running across in synchronicity. This was an attention to detail I would not have thought of but that made an enormous difference in how high-end it would give the final look. He also included us in all of the details, like how we wanted the hidden "handles" to be worked into the surface of the Oak doors, or a finishing detail like where to place the handles on all of the drawers. He didn't just make that guess for us and he participated in the decision making with some excellent suggestions and guidance. This ensured that we were going to adore the finished outcome, which we do. Truly making it our dream kitchen. Jasper really listened and worked closely with us, he showed that he really cared about the project and wanted it to have a lasting impact for our days to come in this home. We loved Ogee's work so much, we also had Jasper come in and do custom White Oak built in shelves in a bedroom and laundry closet, and he re-worked an existing standing shelf for the office. We really couldn't have had a better experience! We moved into our house mid-July. Jasper came in by end of July and had our entire kitchen and the shelving done within 4 days. He worked tirelessly and with a funny and upbeat attitude. A true pleasure to be around. He was careful and attentive to the project throughout. Okay, this review is way, way overdue but I wanted to make sure Andrew and his team got the credit they deserved. We purchased our outdated Mid-century home knowing it needed a serious refreshing. We had a reasonable budget but after interviewing 10+ contractors, ended up settling on Andrew because he was very sincere, knowledgeable, and easy going. Being the first house we ever purchased, we had a lot of ideas about what we wanted which inevitably clashed with our limited budget. Andrew was very patient in working through and suggesting a whole host of innovative/creative solutions that would still leave us happy. When you get to the place it's hard to tell if it's the right location because the building doesn't really have the address number on it. However i think they usually have the garage door open so you can walk right in and there's usually someone there. My husband and I went for the first time yesterday. We needed one of our bathroom drawers remade because my husband spilled wood on it and the material it was made out of expanded. We brought our drawer in person with us to this place and the guys there were upfront. They told us that they could rebuild it for us and we could pick it up the next day and it would only cost us $60. They made it out of better material than the one we brought in and the work is very professional looking. The guy that helped us out was also very friendly and professional so you can tell they are really good at customer service. We are definitely saving their number should we ever need their services again I highly recommend going here if you have a very minor job (like ours) because most places won't help you unless you have some big project for them to work on. read more
