I just wanted to give a shout out to this company and in particular, Trevor. I had purchased.DeWils kitchen cabinets from this shop 13 years ago before it even belonged to its current owner. The finish on some of the cabinet doors near the handles had deteriorated somewhat, and I was looking for some way to either replace the doors or stain them. Trevor was able to order the same stain that the company originally used on my cabinets and he even refinished two of the worst looking doors (the ones under my kitchen sink) himself. He did all of this at a very reasonable price and in very good time. I'm so thankful to him for taking this on as I really didn't know how I was going to fix this issue myself. He also tracked down the original touch up kit that DeWils had provided with the kitchen cabinets and ordered one for me. I really appreciate that he went out of his way to help me with this problem. I think most people would have just told me that they couldn't help me with such a small project as they had not sold me the cabinets in the first place. Let me preface this with, I would recommend this place 1000%. I was in the market for a custom floating vanity, part of my mom's master bath remodel. Not knowing much about vanities in general, I had decided to do some online research, and some in-person browsing of 10 specialty stores in the Walnut Creek area. I was (not too) surprised to find myself waiting in long lines to ask a few basic questions, being given outrageous prices, and lead times that were ridiculous. Since the contractor had already started the bathroom remodel, I was up against a hard deadline. One night, I felt so panicked that I told myself I would walk into Palazzo the following morning and lock into something I frankly didn't like, pay whatever ludicrous price they were asking, and pray that it somehow got done in time. But as luck would have it, I read an online review about the wonderful options at AQC and decided to make a last ditch effort to see if I could find something in their showroom that tickled my fancy. When I walked into AQC's showroom, I could already see cabinets I loved. Taylor took the time to explain all the wood types, grades, cabinet styles, and importance of durability. He gave me samples to take home and printed out pricing for each option. The very next day, knowing I had a deadline, he had designed a simple but beautiful floating vanity and helped me choose the wood & door/drawer styles. He was even so kind as to see if it could be slipped into production between larger projects to give me a better chance of getting it within 6 weeks. It was delivered on time, and Taylor and Trevor even helped the workers carry it up the stairs. The cost was literally 30% less than other suppliers for the same excellent quality, and it was a 100% better looking. I always knew I would love the final result, but it truly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be using AQC for all future remodels! read more

I purchased my cabinets from AQC in 2005-2006 and the DeWills cabinets have stood up to the test of time! I originally chose AQC after visiting a lot of big box stores and being told "no" I can not have what I want in my own kitchen. Instead, I got yes And suggestions for what else I might like. Every suggestion was invaluable even those I initially rejected and then came back to ask for a modification of my kitchen to add them! The kitchen remodel was seamless! And, BTW the price of the cabinets were comparable to that of the big box stores especially since they were solid wood and I chose cherry and other upgrades. Since my kitchen remodel: -My dishwasher leaked damaging the wood on a cabinet and AQC was able to replace the part kitchen as good as new and you can not tell there was ever damage. -I modified a cabinet to meet my changing needs and 17 years later AQC helped make it happen and it looks like it never happened. BTW the modification was originally suggested but I rejected it. -And in 2023, I needed to change a cabinet to fit a new wall oven, they came measured and modified my cabinet seamlessly. It was a tricky job but with their modifications, the new oven installation went seamlessly! If you want quality cabinets than hold up to the test of everyday life, updates, children and grandchildren and messy adults look no further than AQC and DeWills cabinets - I have absolutely no regrets! We could not be happier with our kitchen!!! We came to AQC for cabinets with a kitchen design that we had prepared on our own. Trevor looked at our design and really quickly threw out some ideas that were so impressive we decided to have him design the entire kitchen. In the end, we have a kitchen that exceeded our hopes in every single way. We were looking to have an island with seating for 8-10 with the stove in the center. While looking at exhaust hoods, Trevor noted that a hood would obstruct our water view and suggested a downdraft system. He nailed it. In addition to having an incredible unobstructed view, this also allowed for gorgeous pendant lights above the island. This was one of many of Trevor's ideas that showcased an incredible amount of knowledge and experience on his part. AQC has a showroom that had almost every product available to see in person and made making choosing a product extremely easy. Everything was delivered on time and in perfect condition. We love our cabinets. But more importantly, we love our kitchen that was was entirely designed by Affordable Quality Cabinets. This five star rating doesn't begin to give justice to how happy we are with this their service and products. Allan and Maryann were both so kind, helpful, and super knowledgeable -- such a pleasure to work with! We came in with a rough plan of how we wanted to remodel our 70s kitchen, and Allan helped to refine the design and also recommended a contractor who was within our budget. We went with DeWils custom cabinetry in flat panel white, European frameless style. The cabinets are very sturdy, modern, and classy. The prices were very reasonable - we had shopped around, from low-budget (IKEA) to other custom cabinet shops throughout the Bay Area. The cabinets we ordered here were equivalent in quality to cabinets priced nearly double from other suppliers. MaryAnn helped us to select hardware and our Caesarstone quartz countertops (which were fabricated and installed by Stone Etc). We also ordered our sink/plumbing hardware through them from General Plumbing in American Canyon. Our kitchen came out fantastic, and I am so glad we were referred over to AQC! When Al learned that I was not 100% satisfied he came out and fixed every issue and I love my kitchen. As a result, I went back to them to do two bathroom remodels. They put me on to Rick Brown as my GC and I was thrilled with him and his crew. They stayed on schedule and on budget! I would now highly recommend AQCC and retract my earlier critique. Trully the place to go for a kitchen make-over. Great cabinets, counter surfaces, and most of all, great service from Allan and Maryann. Allan is a gem, told me how long it would take from start to finish, and was right on. AQC was very good. I looked at a lot of places in Vallejo and Benicia. There are some really good ones out there, but Allan and his staff were very patient with me as I took my time decided what I wanted and who I wanted it from. He gave me a great price on some very solid cabinets. The instillation went smooth and now it's a year later and I've had no problems, they look fantastic and are worth every dime.
