Well we kind of do not know why the 5 start reviews maybe we caught them on a bad day however these guys were not great. Communication is not the best. We got this fabricators recommended by the place we purchased our stone with. We called them the same day to get on schedule, now mind you, we get that folks are busy, we understand but the level of sub par customer service we got was not cool. We sent them our request via a detailed email, followed with a call, they received it then radio silence. My husband followed up, the sketch came back and it was laid out but completely missing the bar area. My husband once again in a detailed email is asking questions and letting them know they missed a whole section. Poof never heard back from them again. We sensed this from the get go so we had a back up fabricator that was on it so we went with him. We really do not have the time to chase folks to give them our business you either flow or out. read more

AWESOME! After another local fabricator failed miserably, I found Uni Marble on Yelp. On the initial call, they advised me where to find a particular slab I wanted (having lost my original slab because of the local fabricator failure). Once I found the slab I called Uni back and it was pure magic! After the two initial calls EVERYTHING was completed through email. They followed through every step of the way. In under four weeks, I had this beautiful bathroom counter and shelving. Uni also saved a remnant from the slab for me that I was able to turn into a foot stool for my kids. I am so happy with Uni!!!! I will definitely use them for my next remodel! From my first phone call to post-installation questions, my experience was outstanding. Krystal was terrific on the phone and sent me a quote within hours...she followed up after a few weeks and explained their turnaround time was about 2 weeks, which was very important to me. Pricing was competitive. Eli came out for the measure (he was even early) and my contractor commented favorably on working with him. He brought me a sample from the slab to help with paint etc. I worked with Leah on the layout and she was fantastic. The turnaround time was as promised (and half of what I was told by other firms). The crew on the install treated the slab like a gem and were very professional. A fabulous experience and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. Highly recommend this team!! read more

They did a good job and at a good price, however, they did not communicate well. I asked them on multiple occasions to save extra material for future use, verbally, and in writing, and they failed to do so. The finally replaced some of the materials they misplaced, but never came through on the second batch. Also the owner who advised me on how to prepare a slab for an external table, later asked why I had done it the way I did. I said, I had followed his instructions exactly, and the table cracked. Not a big deal, but it shows again their poor communication skills. read more

Unimarble wasn't terrible, but their workmanship was mediocre. I want to note that Eli was great and Victor and his crew did a good job with installation, but the fabrication was problematic and in the end, that is what matters most. Here are the issues: 1. The interior corners of my sink were just unacceptable. They used a sandwich design that ended up putting four pieces of different shaded quartzite next to each other. I had to reject the pieces and have them reworked to be delivered the next week. When they were refabricated they looked good, but I do not know how they ended up getting okayed for installation the first time. Quality control should have noted the poor fabrication and they should have fixed it before they sent it to my house. 2. When the person measuring my counters was at my house I showed him an example for how I wanted the counter to sit on my apron sink. My contractor was there and he detailed how it should be cut to create the look I requested. On installation day I could see they did not take my requests for the sink or my contractor's directions into account, so now I have a big lip in the sink when I specifically asked them not to do this. 3. I spent an hour and a half mapping out the layout with Eli so the backsplash ran the natural veining from the counter to the backsplash, but that plan was abandoned in the shop and my backsplash ended up not matching the counter at all. Apparently, the person who measured the counter mis-measured. So now my backsplash is about a foot and a half off from the counter beneath it. 4. My mid-size kitchen cost about 8k in fabrication. Given the lack of quality control, Unimarble seems to be charging top-notch prices for mediocre fabrication. read more

They picked up stone from various locations, template several times during construction progress, returned all my calls/emails immediately, were polite and professional all the way through. Eli is very knowledgeable master and a great manager (he made it possible every time to schedule my appointments according to my very busy schedule!); Rafal and his team always showed on time and had all tools and marble ready for installation when it should be done, while working in good coordination with other contractors. From start to finish, I felt very comfortable with the ordering of the slabs that I wanted, payment, scheduling and installation of my slabs. Eli was always accessible for any questions I had ( boy did I have a ton) and Rafal was awesome with the entire installation process. My husband and I asked a ton of questions on the installation and care of the quartzite and Rafal was patient and answered all of them. He even gave me pointers on how to do my own backsplash while he was working. Also, when Rafal came by to drop off my extra slab pieces, I asked him how to connect a few pieces of the stove top and he actually did it for me. Now that is awesome customer service. I highly recommend this company. If you get a lower quote, really question whether you want to take the risk of your beautiful slabs getting fabricated and installed incorrectly. Uni Marble just did a fabulous job on a challenging installation of granite countertops in my pantry: Asymmetrical U-shape with walls on four sides, through the door, dodge the stacked washer/dryer, maple paneling and no backsplash to hide the edges...you get the picture. Eli looked over the site, sent me to look at a slab of granite that matched the existing kitchen counters at a great price, and built a template. Unlike the high-volume subcontractor for Home Depot, Uni Marble had the expertise to locate the seam in an inconspicuous location. Xavier and Enrique did the installation and were total professionals, paying attention to every detail. The seam is almost invisible. The bullnose edge is perfect. These people are totally awesome. They did a great job templating and installing my silestone countertops. They even gave me great referrals to tile companies for installation of my backsplashes. They absolutely know what they are doing. They show up on time and my job even ran ahead of schedule. Their workers were polite and efficient. Their price was BELOW Home Depot.....But the best part is now to come....6 months after installation my husband was framing out a skylight and dropped a nail setter from his ladder...and you guessed it as it fell to the floor it hit the edge of the countertop and chipped it. He was sick! I called Eli and he was quick to schedule 2 guys to come out and take a look. They brought epoxy and mixed colors into it to match the silestone. They set the chip, buffed and I can't even find where the boo-boo was!! I have never been so relieved and happy!! And to think we might have just super-glued! I am so glad we used Uni Marble. They are the best contractor I ever use. I remodel my kitchen and they did the all the stone work. I got three bids from companies recommended by IRG. They came in with the lowest price. The work was great, On my Z shape counter top, their cut only result in one small seam. That was all that is for my five counter tops. They came and measure exactly and when they install, no more cuts were necessary. Just glue it down. One other counter needed intircate work, no straight cut and had to fit into a applicance box and was over 80 inch long. Waterfall next to the sink was done prefectly. I even ask for one more backsplash and they did not charge me pass the originally estimate/bid. Came on time and installed two days ahead of schedule. I have ask for stone fabrication before for kitchen. They did the best job. People that came and examine their work, want to use them.
