This review is long overdue. We bought our Ultracraft kitchen cabinets and Caesarstone quartz countertop from Jeff and he was awesome! Our cabinets are beautiful, we are so happy with them. When they first arrived, some of them were damaged (Ultracraft's fault, not Jeffs) and Jeff was on vacation but Gary (owner and manager at the SF location) was sooo helpful. He exchanged all of them out immediately and took care of it. The prices were extremely reasonable and competitive with other places we shopped at (especially the quartz countertops). Jeff is great with communication and always responded quickly. He worked well with our contractor and is just an all around great guy. I would definitely recommend him to my friends. I have absolutely no regrets about using him!

We are incredibly pleased with our Ultracraft cabinets and quartz countertops for the remodel of our kitchen and bathrooms. While we had kitchen tile backsplash already selected and some idea of what we wanted for cabinets, we greatly appreciated Jeffrey's design advice, patience, and responsiveness. With all our kitchen remodel research, there were a lot of details we overlooked (i.e. peninsula overhang depth, cabinet trim vs. molding throughout the space, storage advice, etc.) Jeffrey is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend his services.

Excellent service and very reasonable cost for cabinets. Jeffrey is very knowledgable and has good taste. A few my friends used him when they remodeled their kitchens and everybody loved working with him. HIGHLY recommend.

We just finished our kitchen remodel and purchased all of our cabinets (Ultracraft)and countertops (Cambria quartz) from Kitchensync. Jeffrey helped us design a great kitchen, making the entire kitchen useable. He also came through for us when we had some drama with lead times. Prices are competitive as well. Highly recommend this local shop!

After spending way too much time without assistance at large cabinet and counter stores, I found Kitchen Sync. Jeffrey was incredibly helpful with the cabinet lay out and design of my very narrow galley kitchen and small master bathroom. Furthermore, his estimate for the granite counter and cabinets was less than those of the the large stores. The results are outstanding! The maple Shaker cabinets and black honed granite are absolutely stunning! If I didn't know, I'd think the cabinets were custom made. Jeffrey is very busy, but that's because his work is excellent. Do yourself a favor and use Kitchen Sync for your cabinets and counters.

We bought Kraftmaid cabinets and Caesarstone countertops from Jeffrey. I'm very satisfied with the whole experience. We will definitely return to Kitchen Sync for our next remodel. Prices were competitive with other dealers and Jeffrey was very professional and his customer service was exceptional. Jeffrey took very good care of us. We had some problems with damage to the cabinets during the countertop installation and Jeffrey sent a professional furniture repair specialist to fix the damage. The isn't even noticeable now. He said he would have replaced the entire cabinet if we were unsatisfied. Also, he quickly replaced some damaged doors we discovered about 4 months after receiving the shipment even though it was past the deadline for replacement parts. Anyone looking for cabinets or countertops should stop by Kitchen Sync. Jeffrey will ensure you are satisfied.

KZ was one of the reasons my recent remodel finished in four weeks…read more I started at KZ early in the process after visiting a few other stores and feeling both underwhelmed by their selections and overwhelmed by figuring out what I actually needed. On that first visit I met Bailey, who ended up becoming a key part of the project. I came in with measurements from my contractor, rough layout ideas, and a general sense of what I wanted: drawers instead of mostly base cabinets, quartz countertops, and a way to turn a small, dysfunctional kitchen into something thoughtfully designed with proper prep space. Bailey took those requests and my contractor's initial mockups and developed a layout. I was immediately impressed by his thoughtfulness and attention to detail. He also included things I would not have known to ask for, including a blind corner pull out "peanut" cabinet that turned dead space into some of the most usable storage in the kitchen. He explained his decisions when asked and found solutions as needed, for example suggesting a microwave cabinet when I mentioned not knowing where to put that. I left excited about the project and hopeful it could actually come together. He was consistently responsive to my many questions afterward. He sent estimates for different options so I could compare costs, such as a 4-inch versus full-height backsplash, and shared renderings of the cabinet and countertop combination. Seeing the space rendered that early was a significant moment for me. His involvement continued well beyond placing the order. As the project progressed, Bailey made sure everything was delivered properly, communicated directly with my contractor, answered questions as they came up, kept suggesting ways to improve the project, and made sure everything was set up correctly for countertop templating. The fabricator, Rafael, was also excellent and did a beautiful job. He and Bailey suggested adding another slab of quartz so we could do a full waterfall on the exposed ends of the counter. I took their advice and I am very glad I did. It made a huge difference and made that part of the design feel complete. I was also happy with KZ's pricing and selection. I visited four cabinet and countertop stores, and KZ had the best overall selection I found. Their prices were extremely competitive without sacrificing features or quality. The cabinets have plywood boxes, soft-close doors and drawers, and full-extension drawers, and they arrived fully assembled rather than flat-packed. My contractor had specifically told me not to buy RTA cabinets and these were straightforward for him to install. All of my other interactions with KZ were positive too. Delivery drivers called ahead, other employees in the store were helpful, and the factory expedited part of my order for an additional charge when my fast schedule required it. One thing worth mentioning for anyone considering KZ is the type of experience they provide. This is not a full-service design firm where someone makes every selection and manages every detail for you. I had to be a little assertive on my first visit because there were a limited number of design/sales reps available, but once I connected with Bailey the experience was excellent. You will get the most out of KZ if you come in with measurements and some idea of what you want, are willing to look around and give input, and are okay following up with questions. When I did reach out, Bailey was very responsive. Some practical things to know: they do not offer financing, some costs such as fabrication are settled separately and in cash, and delivery is extra if you cannot pick up the order yourself. Mine was around $500 for 18 cabinets plus panels and hardware, delivered about an hour away. I think some of the savings come from this model, but it helps to have the right expectations. My entire remodel took about four weeks, including a full primary bathroom and extensive changes throughout the house, with the KZ order placed roughly one week before construction began. A lot of the credit goes to my excellent contractor, but KZ's responsiveness, timely deliveries, and efficient work were a major factor in keeping things moving. It was night and day compared with buying my other materials through large home improvement stores. When I had questions or concerns, it usually took a simple text to Bailey to resolve them. I am super happy with the finished kitchen and with my experience at KZ. I recommend them to anyone looking for cabinets or countertops, and I am especially grateful to Bailey and Rafael for how much care they put into my project.

We walked into their showroom in South San Francisco not knowing what to expect, and were greeted by a friendly gentleman named Bailey. Little did we know, that moment would mark the start of both a great project and a lasting connection. Bailey is professional, knowledgeable, sincere, and incredibly patient--everything you'd hope for in a salesperson. I originally was just looking for flooring at KZ but Bailey made us feel so comfortable we ended up getting pretty much everything here. One stop shop to save time and energy . He offered thoughtful advice every step of the way and was always there when we needed help. Even on his day off, he went out of his way to make sure everything was prepared for us. That level of dedication is truly top-notch. Their pricing is competitive, but for me, outstanding service makes all the difference--and Bailey delivered exactly that. If you're planning any remodeling, I highly recommend giving KZ Cabinet and Stone a try. Be sure to ask for Bailey--you won't regret it. The only negative feedback I have is the warehouse pick up staff may not be the most friendly but the job gets done.

Although I've decided to put the project on hold for personal reasons (finishing a campervan project first!), I wanted to specifically highlight Ron's incredible professionalism and dedication. I did a lot of research for this project, and Green Group was the only one out of five companies that offered both competitive pricing and a payment plan that strictly followed California law. That level of transparency and commitment to legal standards is rare and was deeply appreciated. We spent over three weeks going back and forth on the quotation and contract details. Ron was extremely patient, answering every single question I had and providing a highly detailed, transparent 16-page proposal. I dislike about 95% of the carpet out there ... but don't have the option of putting in hard floors. My pickiness was no match for Andrew, however; he helped me find that needle in the haystack. He pulled out collections that fit my criteria, throwing them on the showroom floor and having me home in on the promising ones via process of elimination. When I showed him some varieties of carpet that I liked from a company outside of The Floor Store's network, he researched them to see if their products met his standards and if working with them would go smoothly (not so much). He got an in-network vendor to send larger samples so that I could really see what various styles would look like in my home. And he walked me through the contract process step by step, making sure I understood exactly what I was signing and paying for. Once that contract was signed, everything moved quickly. Andrew checked in during installation and even humored me at the final stage, allowing me to give him a virtual tour once the carpet was laid. I would certainly recommend him and The Floor Store to anyone looking to get new hard floors or carpet. It's probably not the cheapest option, but my anecdotal evidence tells me that the service can't be beat.
