USSS&T had the best prices by a significant amount. I looked at all their options, got quotes, and went home to think about it. I ended up returning in person to place my order, and I STRONGLY recommend anybody who wants to place an order do so in person. Most of the staff do not seem to have English as their first language so a miscommunication might be more likely to happen over the phone. Also, when I picked the stone I wanted for my countertop, they actually allowed me into the warehouse area where I was permitted to pick which slab I wanted of the ones available. That's not an experience most places will offer. They helped us load the tile into our car and we scheduled a time for them to install the countertop. Brief note that I emailed them about making an order the same morning that I decided to go in person, and they took over two weeks to reply to my email. So again, ORDER IN PERSON. They arrived at the time they'd said they would. I will say they told me they'd arrive "after 1pm", and the day of installation around 11am I got a call from USSS&T saying the installation guys would actually be arriving an hour early, at noon. They ended up arriving at 1pm anyways. So they got right down to business, very efficient and polite, made sure to check in with me and my contractor at each step. The whole thing was done in about 1.5 hours. I really recommend them. I also want to note that some other reviews mention the staff members seem unenthusiastic or rude. There's obviously a cultural difference here. The staff members were never rude or anything to me, they were very professional. If you want help at the store you can't just wait around hoping for somebody to approach you. You have to go up to a staff member and ASK to be helped. At this point they are happy to help and will be very efficient. They are also all knowledgable so no matter who you get to help you they'll be able to answer any question you have.

Not only did she direct us to different tile sections, she gave lots of suggestions and also gave us her opinions. She also would get a sample of a tile that she thought might look good. At the end of our shopping selection for a bathroom, she printed out all the options we selected and printed us a copy so they're all in one place. I would definitely come back. Our installer was very detail oriented and discovered our wall was not completely flush, which meant that the tile at the top of the wall would be a slightly different width than the one at the bottom. I asked our installer to pick out the tile in the best condition since we had ordered 10-20% extras and were very happy with the results.

The sales rep, Joe, who worked with me also took the time to connect me with someone who could professionally finish and polish the raw edges for my project, which was extremely helpful. This showed a serious lack of organization and gave me false hope during an already stressful renovation. The owner, Al Ong, told me he would compensate me for the inconvenience, but I never received anything or any meaningful follow-up. The communication throughout the process was poor, and I was left feeling that customer service was not a priority. Based on my experience, I found the team to be disorganized and lacking the professionalism and attention to detail I expected. I would not recommend Tez Marble and would encourage others to look elsewhere if they want a company that communicates well, honors its commitments, and values its customers.
