I would never use ServiceMaster again, and honestly, I would not have used their service at all if…read morethey had not been referred by my insurance company. When the technician came to my house, he asked me to sign an agreement on his phone and assured me that I would never receive any invoice or bill from them, my insurance company will be fully responible for the cost . Then asking me to read and sign the long writing agreement on his mobile phone? Asking me to read the agreement on a phone and sign? OKAY, I trust them, and it was my fault and I signed it. Today (April 4) I received an invoice stating that payment is due by April 6. They charged $2,500 just to set up two dehumidifiers in my house. They said they would come back and pick them up after 3 days, but they never did. I had to follow up myself and ended up calling them three separate times to ask them to pick up their machines. Every time I called, the customer service rep just said, "I have your concern in our system, and someone will reach out to you." So basically, you end up waiting at least 1-2 days just to get a response back. Because they failed to come back on time and never explained whether I should turn the machines off, I let them run continuously for 6 straight days. This resulted in an additional $350+ electricity bill. The communication and customer service were extremely poor. It feels like all they care about is finding every possible way to charge you. For the payment method, you can pay by credit card but there will be 3.5% processing fee. The other way is to mail a check to them, but they didn't provide the mailing address. It's 2026, I didn't know people still use mail for payment. Be prepared for all these troubles if you want to use their service.

I've never had to use a Water Restoration service before so I browsed trusty Yelp and reached out to Fire & Water Damage. Glad fellow Yelp friend Karen W gave a glowing review! They seem to answer calls 24/7 and I was able to schedule an appointment quickly. Mike was main point of contact and gave us an estimate and scope of work. Basically, they had to tear out the drywall and insulation from the wet area, dry and dehumidify the area for days, and then put on moon suits and remove any mold. We were able to have 2 techs come on a Friday and then let the dehumidifier run over the weekend. We also had to tear out our upper cabinet since the top was damaged by water. On Monday, they came back to remove any leftover mode and patch things up. The total price came in well below the estimate, which is a huge plus. Very happy with the service and efficiency. If you ever suspect you have water damage from leaks, call these guys and get the problem resolved to ensure mold doesn't form or worst, spread. Note that their services are purely restorative - they'll dry out the water-damaged area and get rid of all the mold. You'll need to hire a plumber first to stop the leaks and then afterwards, a drywall contractor to patch up the holes with insulation and new drywall followed by texturing and painting.

Starting with Justin's prompt inspection, he objectively assessed the damage and walked me through the possibilities and next steps. He was realistic yet reassuring. Then the team of Camilo and Sophia were amazing. Arriving late in the evening they worked for hours on the water remediation job that included pulling off molding/floor boards and setting up fans/dehumidifiers. Despite the scope of the remediation growing, Camilo and Sophia showed their experience by staying calm and just working through the issues. Their professional demeanor and calm made you feel they were taking care of everything and things would turn out ok. The team provides an invaluable service in times of crisis. Bottom line, they will take care of you.

The guys who actually did the work and tore the house out got paid way way less! They refused to actually look for items they told myself whatever I needed saved needed to be staged in one area so I moved it myself in the living room. They couldn't follow instructions at all but it still took them 3 days to pack what little was actually being saved. Next they called us with the cost, they told us that with what they've done so far no cleaning just packing and bringing the items to their storage is 10k and cleaning and storing it would be more. If we would've known this cost ahead I would've grown everything away because it wasn't even 10k worth of items. They took advantage of the insurance company and us after our house fire. If someone didn't have Insurance this is completely unacceptable. Now 3 months later we are finally unpacking the items they "cleaned and there's still smoke and soot on the items so we have cleaned them ourselves. There is nothing this company can do for you of speciality and they should ABSOLUTELY NOT BE RECOMMENDING BY insurance my agent was furious with them after our situation so I don't believe they will work with mine again!

They really did take a stressful day and made it into a less complicated situation for us. They took such good care of our things, wrapping everything so carefully and packed our items with care. Arriving at our destination, they unpacked quickly yet carefully and even removed all the boxes and papers that were used. Highly recommend this team of movers and many thanks to Hannah, Carla, Andres, Maria and Carlo once again!

This made me feel comfortable selecting Alfonso, since I deal with related situations at work and believe I had a good understanding of what needed to get done. I had a toilet upstairs leak through the wax ring and water poured through my ceiling in the downstairs bathroom. I knew I had to resolve the issue quickly as the water was contaminated and would cause mold issues if not dealt with quickly. I received a few quotes, but selected All Action. Alfonso scanned with the infrared camera, delineated the areas that were wet during the initial visit. They removed the wet sheet rock/drywall, wiped/sprayed all exposed areas with an antimicrobial, then ran the air scrubber/filter and dehumidifier for a few days.

The mold dog flagged all the places that were "remediated" by all action. The drywall with mold were all taken out but unfortunately the studs with mold were just encapsulated and painted over, therefore still exposing us to molds. I've learned that the proper way of treating studs is to remove and replace and if that's not possible, sand, hepa vacuum, antimicrobal and wire brush all the mold out of the studs. Unfortunately, we learned our lesson the hard way. Please be sure to properly vet your potential mold remediation company and understand if they do things properly and rid of ALL the mold. If you need your house to be medically clean of mold, steer clear from this company. They don't care about clients, they just want to get their foot through the door, get rid of the easy mold on the drywalls and not put in the hard work to really get the mold out of the studs. They will just cover up all the mold with white sealant and call it a day. Again we had an ERMI done two years later, which stachy and chaet still showed up. Learn about your molds, these are the baddddd molds. We then took things further and hired a mold dog & she flagged all the places we remediated. They're also not IICRC certified. Wish I had done better research earlier. See photos.

In November 2025, a faucet in an upstairs laundry room was left running (by yours truly, my bad), resulting in a flood in the laundry room that ran through the floor and into the ceiling and walls of the dining room located below the laundry room. FloodDry visited within hours of my call, gave a fair quote, and started the next day. They isolated the rooms with plastic sheeting, put protective paper lining on the floors, and then removed the wet drywall and baseboards in the laundry room and the wet drywall in the ceiling and walls of the dining room. They used their sensors and experience to identify what was wet and how much drywall to remove. Then, they deployed fans and dryers to fully dry the wet walls and rooms. Three days later, both rooms were completely dry. They then removed all of the plastic sheeting and floor paper and swept and vacuumed until the rooms were spic and span clean. Terrific job all around - done professionally and for a fair price. In June 2026, we noticed some strange discoloration and water stains in the ceiling of a downstairs room located below an upstairs bathroom. First call I made was to FloodDry. By 5PM the same day, I had a quote and the next day work started. The FloodDry team - the same two fellows who had done the work in November 2025 - removed the ceiling in the downstairs room. Worst nightmare: It was a leaking toilet in the upstairs bathroom and the discoloration was mildew (and a lot worse stuff) that had deposited on the ceiling of the downstairs room. FloodDry's first task was to fully remove all of the affected ceiling drywall and crown molding and clean the affected ceiling areas. Then, FloodDry referred me to plumbers, who arrived on short notice and fixed the toilet leak by installing a new toilet mounting plate in the upstairs bathroom and installing new sewage lines below the toilet in the ceiling of the downstairs room. Once the plumbing work was done, the FloodDry team returned and re-cleaned the affected areas in the ceiling of the downstairs room. Next, they installed fans and dryers in the upstairs bathroom and the downstairs room to completely dry the affected areas. They checked the progress over the next few days and by day four everything was dry. Again, FloodDry did a great job cleaning the two rooms once the drying was complete. Finally, FloodDry referred me to a drywall contractor, who replaced the ceiling in the downstairs room. Again, terrific work all around - done professionally and for a fair price.
