I was in a bit of a panic when our house sprung a leak in the attic causing water damage in the walls of one room upstairs and all the way downstairs to our bathroom and wooden floors. Eric from Steadfast Construction was a pleasure to work with. He was quick to respond to my inquiry and came by to see the area that needed to be worked on. Once I requested the repair, his team came by the next week to complete it. I live in an HOA community, so the replacement of the damaged siding needed to match the rest of the neighborhood. The work that they did blended in really well. The only item I noticed that was off was the window trim color (they needed to replace the trim also). I forgot to give them the color specs for the trim, and the color matching was slightly off. Once I mentioned it to Eric, he immediately offered to send his crew back to repaint it. I didn't mind leaving it as is since it was a small section, so I refused the offer. However, I appreciate how far Eric is willing to go to ensure a good job is performed by his company and that I am happy with the work. He stayed in contact and got on the schedule and things seemed well planned. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had a sewage back in my home. The HOA was responsible for the clean up and repairs. They hired Steadfast to repair the drywall, bathroom vanity, paint and install hardwood flooring. They started work on December 18, 2017. They did a decent job on installing the dry wall and texture, although you can see the different in the new texture vs the original as they only applied texture to the new drywall. I also had to ask them the replace the entire door frame instead of THE HORRIBLE PATCH JOB THEY DID. They were supposed to return Wednesday, December 20, 2017 to start painting the livingroom, closet and the 1/2 bathroom. When I got home that day ay about 3pm, the only worker there had only painted the new walls in the bathroom. The new paint did not match the original paint. I had to request that the bathroom be repainted. No work was done that Thursday the 21 but I was told, Friday the 22, the bathroom and painting of the rest of the house would be completed. I got home at 3 pm and found that no one had done any work. I contacted the operations coordinator, Addison, at 3:30 to find out what was going on. She said they are on another job. I then told her I would be painting my house. So my 12 year old daughter and I painted the livingroom and closet. Two of their workers finally showed up and installed the vanity, but they did not have a sink. THEy CRACKED THE GRANITE SURROUND THEY WERE GOING TO REUSE. Once the vanity was complete it looked good, but THE COLD AND HOT WATER SUPPLY LINES WERE REVERSED. Now onto the flooring. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO INSTALL HARDWOOD FLOORING. I Went on vacation and then had surgery so they started installing the floors on Wednesday January 10. It took them two days to install the hardwood. INSTEAD OF USING SPACERS AND TAPPING BLOCKS AND HAMMER, THEY KICKED THE PLANKS INTO PLACE. I first noticed SOMETHING WAS WRONG WHEN THEY INSTALLED LAMINATE MOLDING INSTEAD OF HARDWOOD. Then I noticed the PLANKS WERE SEPARATING. I also noticed the CUTS OF THE MOLDING WERE NOT CORRECT AND LEFT GAPS. I contacted the operations coordinator to inform her. The operations manager, Rich, came out to look at the flooring. He also sent a worker out TO TRY TO APPLY GLUE IN BETWEEN AND ON TOP OF THE PLANKS. He said he would contact the manufacturer to get installation instructions and his guys will be back out Friday the 12. The operations manager called to tell me the manufacturer said glue was supposed to be applied in between the planks. A different set of workers showed up Friday and Monday the 15. After they finished, the PLANKS STARTED SEPARATING AGAIN and the MOLDING THEY INSTALLED IN THE ENTRY WAS NOT FLUSH TO THE FLOOR AND WAS A TRIPPING HAZARD. THE CUTS ON THE MOLDING WERE NOT CUT CORRECTLY AND WAS GAPPED. The UNDERLAYMENT WAS SHOWING ALONG THE BASEBOARD AND FLOOR. I immediately notified Rich. He came out again the following day on the 18 to look at the horrible work his guys did. I asked for a guarantee in writing against gapping for the life of the floors. I did not hear from Rich anymore after that. I kept my HOA manager up to date. I even asked if they could hire a floor installation vendor. On Monday the 22, my HOA manager and Rich came to my home. I showed the HOA manager all the problems. He asked Rich are they capable of fixing the floors. Rich said yes. I did not hear from Rich until Wednesday the 24 when I texted him to find out when his workers will return. He said he would let me know when he has the right people and tools. He notified me he has a subcontractor who will be reinstalling the floors for the third time. To be continued.... read more

Two workers had the old ones out and the new ones in super fast! Great pricing, very fast, and cleaned up before leaving-and even vacuumed up a mess I was making on a different project! Professional and straightforward! I live in an old house, so when my toilet overflowed and damaged my bathroom with water and shit, I wasn't too surprised. I called Steadfast and spoke to Addison who put me in touch with Eric. I texted photos of the damage to Eric and he was able to give me an estimate while warning me about the root of the issue: the sewage. I called the city of Santa Clara to come out and attend to the sewage problem after making an appointment with Steadfast. Eric and his crew arrived before the city did. They were able to clean up my bathroom, dry it, and patch it up in no time. I was amazed at how fast they completed the job- just a little over two days.
