I sent dimensions and a site image and was able to get a quote without a site visit. Our installer was very detail oriented and discovered our wall was not completely flush, which meant that the tile at the top of the wall would be a slightly different width than the one at the bottom. We discussed different strategies for approaching this problem. The zellige we received was also highly variable in quality and color. I asked our installer to pick out the tile in the best condition since we had ordered 10-20% extras and were very happy with the results.

My partner and I even made mock ups of the design we wanted to achieve. Noe was responsive over text when taking down our requirements, giving quotes, and estimating how much material we should purchase which we purchased on our own (though we might have over purchased our material by 20%, I'd much rather have extra than not enough!). Noe handled the tile and grout pick up when it was ready for installation day, and took care of the misc material purchases (finishing metal edge trim, tileset/cement, etc). Adrian and Luis are fantastic installers. Adrian's communication was really top notch (he kept us informed and updated often) and ran through options and recommended solutions when we encountered a bit of a snag with our subfloor and evened it out for us (we wanted to elongate and cut the corners of our rectangular entry way tile). Luis' tile work also really great. His cuts were clean, tiles were even/level, spacing of the grout lines were pretty even as well. I've had tile work done through a general contractor before (they had some rough cuts and some pretty bad tile lippage leading to uneven surfaces) - their quality is nothing compared to Luis' work, our entry way and fireplace with the herringbone pattern looks so good and it matched our mock ups very closely - they really brought our vision to reality! The three of them Noe, Adrian, and Luis really do live up to their company name as Tile Experts and they are very competitive with their pricing. You can check out the before and after photos (just ignore the ugly carpet in the pictures, we have not replaced it yet!) We are really happy and impressed with the work they did for us and would go back to them for any future tile work.

For my Danville home - I had hideous colored concrete floor for the Italian/Mediterranean home. I upgraded/renovated and had Enrique's Tile install travertine. I love marble but the maintenance is just too much (3 teenagers and 2 cats) unlike the travertine. Still beautiful, natural stone but less maintenance. I will gladly recommend Enrique's Tile; will use again for future projects.

I contacted the installer to see if we could hire him again to replace the tiles with a travertine. He was hesitant, saying that he would have to remove the tiles, and it would be impossible to put new tile over the porcelain tile. He said it would be a very messy process and didn't seem too excited about doing it! I decided to call some other companies to explore other opinions. We were in the process of having built-ins installed on either side of the fireplace so weren't super concerned if the depth of the fireplace was slightly more due to the additional tile. I contacted Daniel and I appreciated his communicativeness via email. He came out and looked at our fireplace and gave me a bid. He said it would not be problem to install travertine over the porcelain. He was helpful in telling me the appropriate amount of tile to order. Soon after, Daniel installed the tile. The install went well and our fireplace looks amazing! Daniel and his helper were professional and very clean in our house. I am so happy we didn't have to deal with the mess and expense of having to remove the old tile. We will be calling him for future tile needs and recommend you do the same!

He did a fantastic job with that so I then hired him again for our kitchen remodel. Daniel handled the cabinet install, plumbing, and tile install himself. He recommended and arranged the electrician and the drywall/painter: I paid those folks directly but he clearly has great working relationships with them- everybody showed up when needed. Daniel is a dedicated craftsman- he has a terrific attention to detail. He cares to do things right and not cut corners. He always let me know when he expected to arrive each morning and left the job site as clean as could be at the end of each work day. I plan to have him back to remodel our guest bathroom. Just FYI, I'm not related to him or have any vested interest in this- he's just a great person to work with.
