I had a Pearl Milk Tea from the Carrollton location and it was hands down the BEST I've ever had! So I went back two days later to the Carrollton location because I was looking for that flavor, but this time it was terrible! I decided to go to this location the next day and to my dismay it was not as good. It's so disappointing how inconsistent they are with making it! I enjoyed the first one I had but everything else after that just tasted blah. I wish they ask me to try out the milk tea like how other places do. 3 stars because I know how awesome this place can be but they're just so inconsistent Bought three milk teas in two of their location in less than a week and I only enjoyed it once. read more

Came here when we were in town for a wedding and wanted to try a good boba spot. I have had Gong Cha back at home in Orange County and was expecting this place to be the same. Our drinks were ok, but I felt like the one at home was better. read more

Gongcha is my number one milk tea place on earth. I normally get the Black Tea with white boba, basil seed with 50% sugar and 100% ice. You should try it on your next visit. The shop was clean and decorated will. Servers were noisy and not really friendly tho. Otherwise, everything is fine read more

My sister got the cold foam milk green tea (regular sweetness) and I got the hot milk foam green tea (50% sweet). My sister liked the milk tea and mentioned that it was one of the best milk tea she had so far. It was kind of sweet for me so if I ever get milk tea...I probably will do 70% sweet. The foam milk green tea was interesting. It was my first time having milk foam that was kind of salty. The flavor of the tea changed gradually as it absorbed the foam. It tasted good. read more

There are so rude worker. They never explain when customer asking. Also they make so many mistake. The worker need to train more. If you want really good tea, you may go the other Gong cha. Not this branch. read more

I love this place. So many options and you can choose your level of sweetness. Their strawberry series is really good. They also have a wide variety of different jellies so the combinations are endless. I love going there. You can also order online so you dont have to wait on line. It dies get pretty busy on the weekend read more

Love it! Went here on the 2nd day of soft opening and there was no line like the other store. I had Earl Grey Milk Tea with 3Js (3 toppings) and loved it! My son had a Mango Yogurt with Ai-Yu jelly and he says it was good. He likes the jelly. Friendly service and nice decorations. Definitely be back. read more

Gong Cha is a nifty little place with an atmosphere that's great for studying, hanging out with friends, or going on dates with your magnificent other. The staff here is very friendly, making sure every one of your boba needs is met. Service is always swift, making it a perfect place for you to stop by on the go. They also offer a free rewards program for potential regulars. With this program, you can get 10% off on your order every time you visit! You just simply have to ask them to sign up with your name and phone number. As for the drinks, I usually get the green milk tea with less ice and less bubbles at 70% sweetness as it almost never tends to disappoint. The only reason I didn't give it a full on five stars is because, as I've stated, it ALMOST never disappoints. Sometimes, it mildly does. The consistency is on and off. Most of the time, the drink I regularly get tastes just fine and meets expectations, but other times it tastes a little less sweet, almost a bit bitter. Other than that minor exception, Gong Cha lives up to my standards and I will continue to make quick stops here frequently! read more

The blue hair lady is so rude. No explaining even wrong information. Stuff here needs to be trained indeed. Very bad experience not pleasant at all. I rather go to another store not this one. First time but last time! read more

Hubby and I's favorite bubble tea spot. The service is friendly and fast and the drinks are always consistent quality. Love the fact that we can adjust sweetness and ice levels. The green milk tea and Thai tea are our favorites. The very generous serving of boba is always fresh and chewy. read more

the mustache green tea was ok. I much prefer the green tea at gong cha in houston area. It's stronger and more fragrant. Also tried their recent special - wintermelon with lemon and basil seeds. This I really enjoyed. The location is cute and has better decor than houston. I would come again. read more

This is takes the lead as my favorite boba spot in the Dallas area, pushing boba heaven (garland) to #2, however boba heaven does not compare. I stumbled across this spot and found a hidden jewel. I ordered black milk tea with boba, 70% sugar and less ice. The drink was like drinking a cup of ribbons. So silky smooth. The tapioca pearls were cooked to perfection, and of course me being able to customize the sugar and ice heightened my experience. The ambiance is modern and chill. I will be going back again and again! I tried the Carrollton location today and didn't enjoy it as much though. The ambiance isn't as fun, and my drink was just a drink. No ribbons. It was still good, but the Plank location is much better. read more

I came in today and politely ordered my drinks. The man behind the counter was rude in taking my order. When I wanted to use my rewards and didn't know how, he rudely told me the directions as if I was inconveniencing him. Needless to say I won't be back at this location. Gave two stars since the drinks were at least good but the service left much to be desired and a bad taste in your mouth. read more

I'm always skeptical of boba places I haven't been to but I'd been hearing a lot about Gong Cha so I was willing to to try it. I got the green milk tea and it was some of the best I've ever tasted along with their egg pudding. The cashier was so friendly and helpful in explaining the drink options, which they have a lot of. The place itself is really roomy and nice. I hope to go again soon for the amazing milk tea! read more

Love this Place so much! Manager is so nice. We love to have free drink whenever we reach our point. The Drink is also good as well. I really enjoy MilkTea, and Green tea MilkFoam. read more

Yessss. Milk foam is the best and yes, its totally worth suffering through lactose intolerance for it. If I could, I'd put milk foam on everything - cocktails, orange juice, coffee, even more milk. Boba is qq - chewy - and grass jelly tastes fresh. I'm gonna add this to my list of must-have places in Plano. read more

seriously the best boba place. I always get the normal milk tea and it's nice that you can change up how much sugar and ice you want. although other places also have good boba, this place is consistent every single time. I also like the interior of the place; it's clean and simple. they also have lots of games here so it's a good place to chill and catch up with friends! read more

I was excited that Gong Cha was opening in Plano. I've gone to the one in Richardson maybe three times a week since it opened, which is a far drive for a drink when you live in Plano. My favorite drink is the Milk Foam Earl Grey Tea with pudding! I was hoping the taste was the same. Unfortunately, I was so disappointed. My drink did not come out looking like the picture that is posted all over the store nor did it taste the same. They literally made a Earl Grey Milk Tea and topped it off with Milk Foam. I felt like I was drinking straight out of the milk carton. There was no tea flavor in the drink at all. The pudding in my drink also had no flavor at all. I couldn't even finish my drink and had to throw away my drink after drinking it halfway. My sister and husband had also ordered their usual Earl Grey Milk Tea with Boba. Their drink tasted very watered down, milky, and no tea flavor again. I do have to mention that before taking my order. The person that took my order was just standing there talking to his friend while my family and I was waiting for him to take our order. I had to repeat to my order to him multiple times and slowly. Even after all that, he still put in my order as Milk Foam Green Tea with pudding. Both drink still looked the same. Milk on top of milk. I know it was their first day. Hopefully, they will improve the next time I try it again. read more

Since I was in the area I knew I had to try this place before I left. I've never had the milk foam before but everyone who gets it loves it so I decided to go ahead and try it. I ordered the milk foam green tea with boba. Okay, I don't know why I never tried the foam but im so glad I did. It was salty and tasted sooo yummy! I'm honestly upset with myself for never ordering a drink with it. Moving on, the staff were so incredibly sweet and helpful. Definitely appreciated that. I went in around noon and it wasn't incredibly busy as ive seen it can get. Our drinks came out incredibly fast and there was a sticker explaining ways to drink (eat?) the foam. Even so, I waited until I got in my car to drink it lol. Also, im not sure if I remember properly, but I don't think you tip. Unless I missed a jar, when I paid with my card there wasn't an option. Could be wrong though! It's far from where I live, but ill be back to try other teas for sure! read more

The Pearl Milk Tea was EXCELLENT. I thought after Kung Fu Tea came to Plano, I'd never need to visit another bubble tea place again, it was so perfect. But the milk tea at Gong Cha is even better! The tea isn't super sweet, but it is incredibly flavorful, and just the right amount of creamy. AND the boba was perfect! Soft, chewy, and sweet without being too sweet! (That's one of the problems Kung Fu Tea has - the boba is a little TOO sweet). Gong Cha also has board games like Jenga and Connect Four available to play, which is nice. This is a good place to hang out, or study if you're okay with some noise. I'll definitely come back for more amazing Taiwanese milk tea. read more

This place deserves 5 stars. I normally give 4, but not only is the tea really good, and everyone very friendly, I left my phone behind and didn't realize it until after the shop closed. I called them and someone stuck around until I could get my phone. That is not just good customer service, that is being a good human! Glad they popped up in Plano and they are so close to work! read more

Well I went to see what all the buzz and excitement was about. It was surprisingly quiet inside. Not as busy as I thought it would be, given they just had a big grand opening. I rage all my boba aces based off of their classic black milk tea. The drink itself (tea only) was heavily sweet @ their standard 70%. My drink tasted mostly of milk and water. I had barely any tea flavor. I ordered white pearls as thy are supposed to be "sweet and crunchy". They had jelly like consistency and no taste... they were also clear. I don't like that I can't watch the drinks get made due to their closed off tea making area. SHARETEA up the road has an open atmosphere where you can watch them make drinks from start to finish. They had a few games, had lots of space for seating but overall the drinks were ok. The drink was the same price of something almost twice the size down the block. Cute place to sit and study, but not a lot of space if you want to socialize. If you're looking for better tea go down a block or so to Share instead read more

Gong Cha - Size difference. Wasn't happy with my drink so I went down the road to share tea where I paid the same price for a larger drink - Bubble Tea Near Me - Plano, Texas

They always have good boba, but some of the workers can be rude.

I always go here after work when I have the time! Their staff is really friendly and welcoming, I always get the same girl in the register weekend nights and she's really sweet and very patient with us whenever we're not ready to order. I get either the sea-foam green tea or oolong latte with soy milk. I would recommend getting it half sweet, if you're not big on sweet stuff. It's a good place to study, they have three main table at the back that you can work at or the barstool near the window. I also like the playlist they have, they play some really good music. It does get busy on certain hours though, so be prepared for that if you're planning to study here! But 11/10 would recommend visiting with your friends, or by yourself! read more

Fairly new location. Been here twice and the first time the milk tea was better than the second time. You can choose different sweetness levels. Second time I decided to go with 50% sweet and my milk tea had hardly any tea flavor. Very clean interior and good decor. read more

Ordered a matcha green tea slush and a dirty brown sugar milk tea. The tea was good however the matcha slush was not that great. Also, almost $7 for a matcha slush is expensive. Will come back for the milk tea though read more

Great new boba place in the area. I'm an avid boba fan so I'm always checking out new places. Very few catch my attention and make me a regular but this place definitely did. Gong Cha - Pearl Milk tea - Bubble Tea Near Me - Plano, Texas

Another milk tea review in Plano coming through. You can blame my fiend of a girlfriend but really, I deep down inside, I love milk tea. Gong Cha is a chain that I've seen around but never had the opportunity to go to. You kind of see it sprinkled all over Instagram and Snapchat and I finally had the chance to try, given that I was in Plano (wat??). To be frank, this place is dope. My sister recommended two drinks to me; winter melon and earl grey milk tea, both with pearls. The former is a lot more sweet and the latter is more mild. Both great drinks and just a great spot in general. I wish we had them in Philly! read more

This is a great little boba tea shop right off of the highway. They make really good drinks, especially the passionfruit green tea, and are always nice and quick. Definitely worth stopping by. read more

Milk form is probably the unique thing about this place, at least I don't see it somewhere else, something worth a try. Just note about you have to slowly stir it and taste it, otherwise it won't be that good. read more

Great Chinese bubble tea place.. the tea and milk blend is to my liking...I always get the milk tea in herbal jelly..

Gong cha boba is just aight. Not super great, but good enough for average bubble tea experience hence the 4 stars (instead of 3). What I love the most about Gong Cha is the tables. There are big enough clean and comfy tables to study or work. Moderately quiet atmosphere that won't hinder your focus and free wifi to complete your study experience! read more

Hands down the best boba place in town. You can customize all of your drinks (sweetness, ice, additions). Their boba is so chewy and fresh, and the tea is freshly brewed. I like this place better than kongfu tea and sharetea read more

Nasty super sweet milk sugar grossness. Take skim milk, add one and a half pounds of sugar per 16oz of milk, shake it, and charge $5. Bleh.

I love the decor here and their milk foam is good too, nice place to hang out with friends :)
