I was previously a fan of sharetea and would often choose to come here over other boba shops nearby. But I'm Not a fan of the updated menu and changes They got rid of my favorite fruit tea drink, the mini tapioca balls, and the stamp cards (rendering all my half filled cards useless) Considering their tea is avg and they use syrups and fake flavors, now that they've taken away my favorite drink and topping, I really don't have a reason to come back here and would prefer to go to another boba shop with better quality teas and fresh ingredients. Also have to note that on the day that I last went they had a promotion for a free boba milk tea with every drink purchase. But they had run low on tea and had to make more. There were only 2 people working and 1 was in the back brewing tea leaving the other to take all the orders and make the drinks. With the promo going that day, there was a long line and wait for drinks. The shop was filled, but no one had drinks. I waited 10 min just to order, and another 15 min to finally get my drinks. It has been a long time since I've been to sharetea with all of these new boba places opening up around town. My brother needed a ride there to meet some friends so I decided to get a drink as well. I ordered the wintermelon with fresh milk and my brother got the mango green tea with lychee jelly. Both of our drinks came out really fast. The wintermelon was so refreshing. The milk doesn't overpower the wintermelon at all. This is a drink you can't leave out too long though because when the ice melts it gets diluted easily and the drink won't taste the same. My brothers mango green tea was really good as well. If you can't decide between fruit tea or milk tea, get a mix of both! The drink was not too fruity but also not too milky. I typically LOVE getting my milk teas from Sharetea. Today, we decided to try something new they were advertising- matcha series. We got the Strawberry Matcha Fresh Milk and Mango Matcha Fresh Milk. The presentation looked great. Mixed up the drink and the milk curdled immediately! Our guess is the temperature changes is the cause of the curdling. The matcha was also very grainy. Flavor is there, but did not like the texture. Boba pearls were perfect as always. There was only one guy working and making 4 drinks - so he might have felt overwhelmed? It's important to support local businesses during this COVID19 crisis and spread the word about those that are going the extra mile. Sharetea is offering reasonable business hours and has taken social distancing seriously. We appreciated that. We stumbled across this place, so first impressions, right? Its rare for us to go anywhere other than of our favorite boba house, but the lockdown had us looking for a new adventure. First impression was bad. We interrupted two teenagers flirting and giggling when we came in. This was obviously a social visit. It was awkward. It took a minute for them to realize we were the customers. We were asking a lot of questions because we were unfamiliar with the menu. It became frustrating because there was plexiglass between us, she had a mask over her face and she was soft spoken .. we simply could not hear her. We ordered something. We felt like we were in a blind study, lol. The silly boy who was visiting her earlier was still hanging around and being silly. Everyone that came in behind us was great about social distancing. We got our drinks and left. Not impressed with the drinks either. Mine was watered down and tasteless. My daughter ordered some sort of strawberry drink. We came here in search of a drink with real taro chunks, and left with a classic milk tea with boba and a hot taro boba drink. Both were okay. The reason for the two star deduction is that we weren't able to make milk substitutions. The person at the counter said they use a lactose free cream, which tastes okay but is far too rich for our taste. While still in the parking lot, we actually looked up the nutritional info for the drinks and they were much much much higher than the average boba place. We were so shocked that we didn't even finish our drinks (one of them was over 700 calories according to the website). Another reason we docked a point is that we couldn't adjust the sugar level in the drink with real taro chunks - it could either be 100 or 0, which doesn't seem standard. With so many other options in the area, we'll likely try other places before coming back here. read more

Sharetea is my favorite boba chain across the country. If there is a sharetea in a city I am visiting, I will go to it even if I have to go slightly out of my way lol. The quality and variety of their drinks are as good as any if not better. The prices are more than fair because they serve one large size cup for about $5 and toppings are included with most of the drinks. My go to drinks are the QQ family milk tea and ice blend milk tea (slush!). Their coffee milk tea is great and a new recent favorite is the wintermelon with lemon fresh tea. After visiting multiple cities, I think the Plano location is definitely the best. They never run out of any ingredients and the staff here are the most efficient in making the drinks. Never have any issues with the quality of my drinks even with customizing orders of sugar and ice levels. They even have a reward stamp card here! read more

ShareTea ShareTea is my favorite go to boba chain shop. ShareTea is my favorite chain boba shop mainly because of its value. For a price of a small size drink at other places, ShareTea will give you large size for the same price of a small compared to other places like Kung Fu Tea. The inside of the place is clean and looks nice but tables can be dirty like any other boba shop. The staff can make common mistakes just like any other boba shops. Another thing is their attention to your sugar preference. Sometimes I can order 50% sweetness but it's still really sweet at ShareTea. This goes for every single boba shop out their is their attention to your sugar preference that you order. The same thing applies when you ask for less ice at ShareTea and all boba shops can give you normal ice amount. ShareTea's milk tea taste has a good ratio and balance between tea and creamy taste. When you order a lower sugar level, you will taste will more tea flavor then creaminess. So I prefer getting 50% sweetness because 100% is overly sweet and unhealthy. My most favorite drink on the menu is their taro milk blended. This drink is my favorite because I love taro and it's also really rare to see boba shops to use huge chunks of real taro blended into their drinks. I saw them put real milk in the taro milk blended instead of creamer. The drink is actually not purple colored but white in color that's when you know the drink is not artificial but legit. The drink is thick and filling when you finish it. The drink taste thick and like real taro, it slightly creamy and milky and has some taro flecks in it. Overall ShareTea is my go to spot more boba because of its value for the price. At ShareTea they charge the price of a small size at Kung fu tea or other boba shops for a large plus they give you a generous amount of toppings like your boba and jelly. DIARRHEA!!!! Worst boba tea place I've ever been to. First off, awful service, the man a the counter wouldn't even look us in the eye. We should've known when we talked in and the place was 100% empty save for a small group who WEREN'T drinking any boba! They're also still doing the 50% peach drinks with a purchase of any full priced drink so get that discount and don't forget your punchcard! Embarrassed to say this is the first time I've been here. Lots of my friends have mentioned/recommended this place to me. I ordered the classic oolong milk tea - that's what I always do on my first visit to any boba place. The drink has a decent oolong tea flavor and is creamy. But it's not as creamy like in other places, which I like because I prefer more tea than milk. The boba is gummy, chewy, and slightly sweet. The decor is modern like many other boba places. The walls are almost bare in monotone colors, except the brand name ShareTea and the Order Here text sign. Music is upbeat and I think it's more the millennials. One thing I like is place is all drinks come in one size. This really helps simplify my life. One less tough decision to make when I order. Sharetea Plano is owned by the same people that own the new store in Carrollton, and they're both really great sets of staff who are extremely friendly. I wish those stores would be even busier than they are, like the one in Houston, because they deserve to be. I'm not one to root for chains, but Sharetea is an exception because of how amazing those 2 drinks are. And they import all the ingredients from Taiwan. So if your laces are both untied, then when in here, just Taiwan. Not both. They also kept serving the light bulb drinks long after most other stores around the country has stopped. So that was pretty awesome. Dallas is not the best place in the world for bubble tea, but given that it has three locations of sharetea all of which are wonderful with excellent service and products, I have to give it kudos for that. You would also want to try the brown sugar milk tea at fruitealicious, and some of the crazy concoctions at Mantra Leaf not to mention the wonderful bobaddiction in Deep Ellum. (slurp) The drinks that you absolutely must try at sharetea are the Okinawa Pearl which is brown sugar milk tea and it's the best of its kind that I've ever had probably... and also the whole lemon black tea with tapioca which is possibly the best fruit tea I've ever had. Try these two. You absolutely can't go wrong with them. I've been to the sharetea Plano location several times now. Everyone working here is really friendly and the light bulb drinks are still available which is awesome because most have stopped serving them. This is where I tried my first one which was the Honey Lemon with aloe vera and it's absolutely delicious. It's a shame that it's a limited edition product because I would get it a lot more often. They have stamp cards which are valid here or at the Carrollton location for free drinks. They're only open till 10 unfortunately and sometimes they get pretty busy but I wish they were even busier. Finally Sharetea makes its way to the DFW metroplex! I came during their soft opening and ordered an Okinawa MT and Classic MT, both with boba. The price for the drinks was around the same as other bubble tea establishments and the service was very friendly. Outside the box: While I didn't get to try it because I found out about them too late, they have a very fun and different way to drink their foam topped drinks. It comes with a plastic knife that you use to make a slit in the sealed top. After that you sip your drink through the slit. I saw a video on yelp and I'll have to try it out next time! Came here because of the recommendation of a co-worker. He recommended the Okinawa milk tea, which is what I tried. It had a subtle brown sugar taste, not too sweet, and the milk tea and boba taste worked in great harmony with it. I've been craving it ever since. The staff was very nice and explained some of the choices, like getting the drink with less or no ice. I love that, because often with boba tea you get a cup full of ice and you're done with the drink in no time. I got the less ice option and it was still nice and cold, but so much more tea. We came on a Friday during lunch hours & were greeted so happily by the workers! The employees are what made my experience a five star experience. Sharetea has been my go-to tea place ever since it opened. It's conveniently located next to the highway and close to the Asian grocery markets around. My favorite drink to order here has to be the Honey Milk Tea, and I believe it's one of the only places around the area that offers good Honey Milk Tea. It has just the right amount of ice so that you actually get a lot of drink, meaning the portion is nice. The taste is great too; it's not too sugary and has the right sweetness to it. Even more importantly, it's consistently good. I recommend the HMT for anyone that comes here! Service here is pretty quick. There's only a short wait for the drink, and they have many options to past the time. Definitely a place to get Boba in the Plano area and by far my favorite location. read more

So many people had recommended this spot to me that I had to check it out and am I glad I did! First of all, the staff made me feel comfortable with requiring masks and the plastic dividers put up to help with COVID. Next the array of options was amazing and took me a while to choose! I ended up going with the passion fruit, orange, and grapefruit tea with MINI boba (something I had never heard of and it was really fun to try) which was amazing! My friend got the classic milk tea with regular boba and loved it too. It was really nice how there was only one option for sizing but be warned they are pretty big/filling but so yummy too. For those who love Sharetea, the drinks at this location are always consistent. Tea won't be stronger one day than the next; the texture of the Bobba doesn't vary from day to day; and they aren't changing up brands they use for fresh milk either. The staff is welcoming and it's a great place to hang with family or friends to play board games, or even study. Our family favorites here are the taro fresh milk (made with real taro and not taro flavored powder) and green tea fresh milk. The Fresh Milk Family milk tea (with pearl, herb jelly and pudding) is also a must try too! All the kids love the strawberry ice blended with ice cream. We live kind of far away and they offer 1/2 gallons to buy so we are able to enjoy it fresh at home. We love this place. read more

My sister in law got sharetea Togo for me because it's too far from my place but it's my favorite boba place that I went to in Seattle!!! So glad to see it finally popped around dfw area. I got my usual, the oolong milk tea 80% sweet with boba and it is exactly the sameeee I'm so happppppyyyyy! ;-; The tea is strong but you can also taste the creaminess of the non dairy cream. The boba is brew to perfection. Just like all the other sharetea locations, their drinks are on the sweeter side so it usually taste better IMO to reduce the sugar levels. I love the customize feature of the newer boba places now. So awesome. This location and the carrolton one uses a punch card instead of the Perka. The owner of this place is wonderful and agreed to help me transfer my parkas over the the card. Sadly I haven't been yet but I will soon or whenever I'm in the location. I always order the classic black milk tea with boba or lychee jelly and they are never stingy with the toppings. They give you a lot of bang for your buck. I also customize the sweetness to 30% which is just the perfect amount of sugar and less ice. I would stay away from their thai tea though, it's horrendous. Idk what happened when the drink first hit my tongue I was like wow that does taste like coffee and tea mixed. Then I was like whoa, why is there hint of dried fish. Sharedtea is always my go to place for tapioca. Love this location as it is next to work. So convenient for me to grab my favorite Oolong Milk Tea on the way home. It has never failed me. The tapioca is always soft and the Oolong Tea has the perfect amount of tea and milk ration. The staff is always nice and friendly. My kids likes the Thai Milk Tea and my SIL likes the Wintermelon Tea from here as well. On one occasion which was my fault, I forgot to tell them I wanted tapioca and they already made it. The young lady made me a new one without any charge. I told her I would pay for it as it is my fault. Now that's customer service. Thank you. Will always be back. Keep up the good work. Love sharetea! They have lots of options ranging from your boba preference to the flavor. What I also like is that they provide board games for people to play. And they are in pretty good shape, too! No sticky cards as far as I know. Tip: if you go there frequently, they have a frequent flyer stamp card for you to use! Another tip: don't get confused by the counter you see when you first walk in. That is the area that customers are waiting for their ordered drinks the order line is against the left wall. Only reason I would take out a star is because of the horrible acoustics to this location. This is a place to play games as drink boba. However, if there are more than 15-20 customers in there, things echo and you can't hear the person sitting next to you. Anyways, love the flavor, amount, price, and location. I've never had a bad experience when I've visited this location with my fiancé. I enjoy my matcha green tea flavored boba from her very much. Being a very picky person i was genuinely surprised and satisfied with my visit! I also love how they have the rewards stamp card! Getting rewarded for 10 drinks and then getting one free might be a long stretch but if you visit frequently it shouldn't be an issue. $5-6 for a large size is not bad, one size only but it's worth it. I didn't know about ShareTea until my friend introduced it to me, but I believe this is THE place to get tea in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. I've been around to many boba places in the area: KFT(Stonebriar), Tasty Cup, QQ, even the new MeetFresh on Coit. I ordered the Honey Milk Tea, which my friend recommended. I was hesitant as I always default to Thai Milk Tea or Regular Milk Tea for my first time, but I decided to get it anyways. I was blown away by how good it was. The consistency was just right, unlike another tea place I mentioned in a review. Furthermore, the amount of ice was just right. The inside of ShareTea is a nice quiet environment, even having board games to pass the time. It's just a great place get a drink and socialize with colleagues. I'm already thinking about what to get the next time I come to Sharetea! We came on a Sunday after lunch on the high recommendation of friends, and the place was pretty full; no empty tables! Since this was my first time, I opted to try one of the milk teas instead of my standard order at places that offer wintermelon tea drinks. I got the oolong milk tea with herb jelly, no ice at 80% sweetness. I really loved the strong tea flavor in the drink -- I think next time I might even try it at 50% sweetness to see how the ratio of creaminess/sweetness to tea flavor changes. I tried my friend's oolong milk tea with boba and had instant regrets of not picking boba as my add-on! Don't get me wrong, the herbal jelly was good and I'm generally a bigger fan of it anyway, but the boba here was perfect -- firm and chewy but not hard in the center, with a light honey flavor. I also am pleased that they have a wide variety of add-ons here -- I had aloe at a different place the other day and it was really good, so I'm excited to try that out, maybe with one of the wintermelon drinks. The other boba places hit the spot too as we waited for the arrival of Sharetea, but what's fantastic about this Taiwan-inspired, internationally-renown place is the range of options and--get this--it actually tastes like tea. If you like to stick with your usual green tea milk tea, 30%-sugar, no-ice, boba like me, they have it. If you want to try mango boba or lychee jelly, they have it. Their signature QQ option is quite the adventure, full of boba and grass jelly and pudding... it departs from drink status and enters snack territory (or even a not-too-healthy meal). Service is great. If you don't like your drink, it's totally ok to bring it back and ask for modifications. Servers are helpful with answering questions and wait patiently as you figure out the exact specifications for your custom drink. My favorite aspect is that they offer a stamp card. After ten drinks, you get the eleventh free (: This location might not be the best study spot depending on the time of day. The tables are nice and big and there's wifi, but the plethora of board games makes it prone to being a very social, fun environment. Recommendation: bring your friends, not your textbooks. Parking is adequate, but navigation can be tough. Google maps thinks it's on the other side of the road from where it actually is.
