I always get this same drink, the Mango Pomelo Sago, & you can see it's halfway gone already cause it's sooo good. Very consistent drink. You order on an iPad & they are quick to make the drinks. It's never very busy & theres plenty of seating to stay & hang out. Very chill spot! read more

We tried this new Boba Guru place on Coit and Park in Plano. We ordered Taro milk tea and Macha cheese smoothie. They're delicious and reasonably priced. Counter Staff are friendly and helpful. Very clean and neatly decorated. Lots of parking, too. read more

I came in town to visit family and my sister introduced me to this place. I am so in love with the drinks! They have the right balance of flavors. The boba is the right texture too. My favorites were the Guru milk tea and Hokkaido milk tea. The Hokkaido does have an interesting taste at the end and it might not be for everyone, but I enjoyed it. The service is great. The ambiance is quiet and nice. You get your drink pretty fast! read more

This is a clean modern looking place but the milk tea here tasted terrible. I was only able to drink half of it, my stomach felt weird after. We got 2 other orders of the brown sugar milk tea and of the same opinions. read more

I went to Boba Guru with a friend and we enjoyed it. I got Taro Milk Tea with boba and he got Guru Milk Tea with boba. We both could have used a little more boba but we enjoyed our teas enough. The place was quiet, comfortable and staff were polite. read more

Really good vintage milk tea! We went really late at night (9:30 on Saturday right before they close) so the boba wasn't as fresh as it normally was. Really cute space and lots of tables for groups to hang out too. I'll be back! read more

I got the brown sugar signature latte with less ice, and it was really good. The boba was nice and chewy too. My partner got the taro smoothie. It was not too sweet, which is good, but it didn't taste amazing either. read more

Reviewing only the matcha milk tea, it had good tea strength but flavor was lacking. I don't think I could taste distinct matcha flavor or got enough creaminess. Employee was friendly. Ample sitting space and a big parking lot. read more

BEST BOBA IN PLANO, love this place, always low-key, great vibes and seating, and incredibly nice staff, very fast boba maker.

Great variety, helpful staff, delicious drinks! Our kids love the mango tornado with the mango popping boba. They're basically mango juice-filled boba, and the creamy mango with coconut milk is so delish. Big hit! read more

In the words of my friend: Boba and milk tea have never complimented each other so well. Usually they're like two different things all in a drink, but with Boba Guru it's like they're a whole flavor. They're always consistent and worth the price. Their teas are also quality and go really well with the foams. Stop by if you ever get the chance! One of the best boba stops in the area for sure. read more

One of my personal favorites for boba, the drinks are always delicious and so innovative! I definitely recommend this to all of my friends.

Oh we so wanted to love you... but we waited for you to open on your hours, then we went to Elliotts for 20 min, then we waited some more. Sure wish we could have enjoyed your signature drink, maybe next time. Looking forward to making this five stars! read more

Located in a nice little plaza in Plano, this is one of my favorite boba places in DFW area! Ample parking, teas have just the right amount of strength with milk combo. I loved the jasmine green tea but now I'm a big fan of their signature guru tea with boba!! It's multiple types of teas and you can taste them!!! Their cups are also super sturdy and unique, I love them! I've been recommending this place to friends and family and can't wait to keep going back! read more

Spread the word. Don't recommend this place - don't think it's worth it. Not a good place to relax much less work. Boba good but not worth the effort. Customer service entirely lacking. Not a good place to do anything other than pick up your boba and leave. People behind the counter ply their music as loud and offensively as it will go - I guess they want everyone to leave to drive better foot traffic. Have people get kissed off and just leave. read more

Boba Guru is such a clean and sleek location. The decor gives a modern and luxurious vibe! I absolutely looooved their drinks!! I HIGHLY recommend the Brown Sugar Boba, that drink tastes like a DESSERT and it is so tasty! The people who work here are so helpful and kind. When I stopped by, I wasn't sure what to order, and they were able to walk me through recommendations and different flavors, which I really appreciated. BIG thank you to Boba Guru for the delicious drinks and the amazing service!!! read more

An excellent place to study or hangout with ample windows and electrical outlets- Worth it alone. Drinks are also marginally cheaper than surrounding competition at $4-5 a drink. An expansive menu, but some downsides are that some items (especially fruit teas) are very sweet despite 0% sugar and they have no milk substitutes. Service is quick and efficient enough, with a self order kiosk should the cashier be preoccupied. read more

Tapioca was hard and almost dehydrated. The tea was mediocre, it could've been better. Service was good. The tapioca was very disappointing and I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you're looking for exceptional boba, this is not the place. My daughter and I ordered the exact same drink, but somehow hers was a darker hue. read more

Tried the Matcha Tornado and Pink Lychee Frosted from their new menu, it was amaze by how well balanced the drinks are, they are really flavorful and not too sweet. I will definitely come back to try more of their new drinks. Highly recommend! read more

Cute interior and cute cups! However we didn't really enjoy our drinks :(( I ordered the mango smoothie but I think it's made from a powder and not fresh mangoes because it tasted gritty. This place has great boba! At least from my experience, my friend ordered the Matcha Creme Brûlée Frostea and didn't think there was much flavor there. I ordered the Pink Lychee Drink and thought it was great! Get 50% sugar though if you don't like your drinks super sweet. It does include the cheese foam cap though which I didn't like because I don't like cheese. I do wish I was warned about that ahead of time when I ordered. Overall, love the look of the place, but probably won't come back because it's super loud. I'm not talking about the customers either. We could hear the employees talk almost the entire time and it felt like we had to talk over them to hear each other even though we didn't sit near the front counter. Not sure if I'd go back because of my experience here. read more

I like the tea. Go for the tea, not the ambiance. My mediocre review of Boba Guru takes into consideration the overall experience. The ambiance reminds me of a dirty college hangout. Sticky table tops, trash on the floor. Also, the bathrooms smell like sewage and there was no soap.... There were 3 staff members there while I hung out there with a friend and we were there for about 1 hour on a Sunday afternoon. We didn't see any staff members clean & sweep or leave the counter, for that matter. They really need to take better care of this place. read more

Cozy but quieter boba shop than I'm normally used to. I feel like your experience may vary depending on what time of day you go. But we went at 9pm on a Thursday and the atmosphere was dead like no music and no other customers. You have to use the self checkout kiosks to order your drinks which was nice because you can see all the customizations and not feel rushed! Then, we sat down at the couches and I guess the owner noticed that we wanted to stay for a while, because he turned the music back on. A thoughtful gesture, but odd that the music wasn't normally on. The brown sugar milk tea is a little bland, but the jasmine cream tea and vintage milk tea are great! read more

Like their boba tea. Very traditional Chinese style. Highly recommended guys. Reasonable price. Will be back.

My favorite boba place I've tried since I've moved up to the Dallas area! My fiancé and I got the guru milk tea and strawberry green tea. The first was creamy, not too sweet, and you could taste the tea which wasn't too overwhelming. The strawberry green tea was very refreshing and it came with strawberry chunks. Definitely recommend these two options and excited to try more! read more

I have gone here twice in an attempt to get Boba for a family member, yet both times they were out of bob. This time? The orders before me were all able to get boba. On top of that they have a 50¢ transaction fee if you do not but $6 work of items. Yet the menu is all under $6 unless your buying more than one drink. I will be reporting this through the proper channels, since it is illegal to charge a fee to your customers to cover the merchant fees. We definitely won't be back read more

I went after the administration has changed. The layout is almost the same except for some changes. The menu has definitely changed. There's no coffee or chocolate flavors but that's OK. I tried the taro milk and it was really nice and sweet. The Boba was also pretty good. Service was nice. I will definitely come back to try other flavors. read more

my favorite boba place, the signature brown sugar boba is the best in DFW. they use organic milk too!

i gave this place 3 trials since i did not have good experience. first time i got their signature milk tea and it was so sweet that i have to mix with ice and milk at home. 2nd time i order grapefruit tea and it was bitter( not grapefruit taste, 70% tea taste) and it happened the same when i come back and order grapefruit n milk tea. for their signature milk tea i pour into 3 cups, add extra 100% milk and 200% ice and it still sweet. i gave it to my friends and they also stated it literally sugar drink. whoever like sweet and bitter they prob like this place but im prob not coming back read more

Cute little place, the one guy working was patient with all my questions and helped me decide what to get (there are a lot of cold/blended options for summer). I ended up going with the strawberry tornado, it tasted like a strawberry cheesecake but with a slushy like texture. I think they may use frozen strawberries, definitely has a real strawberry tanginess to it. Very quick service. Pricing comparative to starbucks. read more

Extremely bland milk tea. No tea flavor at all and very tough boba. Very expensive glass of milk.

This place has changed recipes and/or ownership. They used to have fresh ingredients, real fruit, etc. It was one of my favorites because of the complex flavors. Now it's just generic overbrewed bitter tea with sugar syrup. Ugh. Won't be back. read more

I got the brown sugar boba signature latte. I will give it two stars because after sitting in my living room for 3 hours, the boba was still very chewy. The last time I bought a drink, the boba was extremely hard as if it had been in the South Pole for a day. The tea was very sweet and every sip felt like pure sugar, save for the occasional boba. I couldn't really taste any of the latte since the drink was so sugary, and this was with 100% ice too. read more

The brown sugar boba was just okay....but $8 after the guilt tip. It was thin and not nearly as rich as Gong Cha.
