I've been here several times since it's conveniently right next to my family's favorite restaurant! What initially intrigued me about Ever Taste is that they supposedly brew the tea fresh for each drink, and they use fresh milk instead of the powdered stuff. In my experience, be prepared to wait a LONG time for your order. Each time I've visited, my order has taken 30+ minutes to be prepared (granted, I'm usually ordering multiple drinks for my family). I would highly recommend placing your order in advance on their website if you don't want to wait forever. The inside is quite small and can get very busy during peak times, so it can feel a little claustrophobic. There are two kiosk stations to order from, but things get confusing when you can't tell if people are waiting in line to order or have already ordered and are just waiting for their drinks because the space is so small. I've noticed both myself and others going back to our cars to wait. I also wouldn't really recommend this place if you're looking somewhere to sit, hang out, or study unless you happen to go during a slower time. Anyway, onto the drinks themselves! Overall, I think they're pretty solid, but not the absolute best I've had (if you're curious, TP Tea is my favorite boba tea shop in DFW). The fruit drinks are nice and refreshing, and they do use fresh fruit. However, while I appreciate the freshness, I actually think frozen fruit can sometimes help create a better texture if you want something more slushy. I wouldn't describe the fruit drinks here as having that icy/slushy consistency; they're softer and more like blended fresh fruit. The tea drinks are very aromatic and fragrant. Supposedly, the tea is freshly brewed for each drink, which probably contributes to the longer wait times. You can DEFINITELY taste the tea, which I know is probably a huge plus for tea lovers. Strangely enough, though, I've discovered that I'm not necessarily the biggest fan of that freshly brewed tea flavor, even though it sounds like it should be better! It reminds me a lot of the tea my mom would make from fresh tea leaves growing up. I guess that's technically a compliment to the quality, but apparently my taste buds don't align with it. Out of everything I've tried so far, my favorites have probably been the Mango Pomelo Sago, Tieguanyin Milk Tea, Watermelon Sago, and Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea. Lastly, from all my visits, the texture of the tapioca and sago pearls are always spot on! Overall, I think Ever Taste is worth trying, especially if you really appreciate strong, freshly brewed tea flavors and fresh ingredients. Heard from friends this was a good spot for boba. So we went and ordered the Amber Tieguanyin Milk Tea, and wild gardenia milk tea. It was tasty! If you like the authentic tea leaf flavors, this is the place for it. If you aren't into aromatic or floral types of teas or flavors, then this is not the spot for you. Service is self-serve where you can order up front or use the kiosks to order. This cafe is great for small or large groups but not for long term sit-down or hangouts. I tried the rice oolong which was decent but the osmanthus was where its at! The boba is good and the drinks are not too sweet. These two milk teas lean on the more traditional side if thats what youre looking for I highly recommend! I also got to sample some of the gelato which was good and I hope that I can get one of the more unique flavors next time! I am surprised by the relatively low rating for a decent boba spot. We went to Ever Taste on a weeknight for dessert after grabbing dinner in the same little plaza. There are a few small tables and chairs, and you'll order at the digital kiosks. I tried both the rice oolong milk tea, which was oolong with a bit of a genmaicha/smoky rice flavor, and the osmanthus oolong milk tea, which had a decently strong floral flavor. While the teas looked really milky, I think the flavor shone through okay. I think any perceived blandness could be attributed to the lack of sweetness - we ordered 25% sweet, which was much less sweet than other boba shops at 25% - just something to keep in mind. The main thing that might be improved upon are the pearls, which were a good sweetness but a bit too hard/chewy rather than bouncy. The biggest issue of this place is slow. For all three times I was there it took them over 15 mins to finish my two drinks. And there were only 1-3 customers before me. Whenever we are in the northeast Plano area, we would always swing by Ever Taste for their milk teas. The shop is clean and simple; the sunlight coming through the high windows in the seating area makes the space welcoming. Since we are daily tea drinkers, we enjoyed trying out all their different milk teas. It is too long to list out all the good ones (eg, Gardenia Green, Long Jing, Rice Oolong, etc.), but after a few visits over the past few months, we have settled on our #1 most favorite and have returned many times - Golden Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea (25% sweet, light ice)! There is something distinctly good - even addicting - about all their tea drinks. After chatting with the owners, we learned that they brew each cup on the spot with this tea machine (too technical for us to understand the details, but it sure was fascinating watching the lady make it). I visited the establishment last week and ordered peach Oolong tea, which came with lychees and white jelly. Upon returning to order the same tea, I was surprised to find that it did not come with any accompaniments. I inquired with the lady, who suggested that I had probably ordered the Peach Oolong Fruit Tea instead. I accepted this explanation. However, when I visited again today at 5:20 pm and ordered a Peach Oolong Fruit Tea with paid extra Grass jelly, the lady at the front informed me that it did not come with any toppings. I clarified that I had indeed had toppings in my previous order. She insisted that this was not the case. I asked her again to explain the difference between Peach Oolong Tea and Peach Oolong Fruit Tea. She replied that the latter consisted of peach syrup and tea. I found this explanation confusing, as I had previously been informed that Peach Oolong Tea and Peach Oolong Fruit Tea one come with toppings the other Isnt! Upon further inquiry, I was told that Peach Oolong Tea consisted of peach tea only, while Peach Oolong Fruit Tea included a combination of fruit syrups. I was perplexed by the inconsistent explanations and felt that I was being misled. I had initially returned to the establishment because I had enjoyed the tea with jelly on my previous visit. However, I was informed that I had ordered the wrong item. I am disappointed by the lack of clarity and consistency in the explanations provided by the staff. It appears that there is a need for employee training to ensure that customers receive accurate and reliable information. I will not be returning to this establishment again. I've been to this spot a few times back when it was still called Boba Head. Despite the name change, everything else is still the same: same menu, interior, and flavor. They've got a pretty good selection of milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, etc. Ordering is done at the self-serve digital kiosks or you can order the old-fashioned way with the staff if you don't want to type your phone number into the kiosk. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I've even had staff break down the sugar macros in a drink before--which is super helpful if you're trying to be mindful of your intake. I stopped by on July 4th with a friend and caught one of their holiday deals: BOGO 50% off. We got two drinks for just under $10. I went with a milk tea with coffee jelly (no ice, 0% sugar), and my friend got a fruit tea. The coffee jelly was a bit sweet, but the drink was good overall. After drinking it, I also felt quite uncomfortable and slightly nauseous, which made the experience even worse. Evertaste is great! It used to be called Bobahead, and still has some of the marketing. I love the assortments of flavors and the sunny and airy location. It can be hard to find seating due to the small size, so don't bring a large group expecting to seat them. The variety of drinks is amazing.
